1174315 Reflective Memory causes latency spikes on Linux RT
Depending on the PCL rate and number of channels, using the VeriStand Reflective Memory solution can cause latency spikes in the PCL on Linux RT. This can lead to HP counts and missed data transfers.
1203847 Simple deployed VeriStand SDF results in one core reporting 100% CPU
Even simple VeriStand system definition files will result in one core having its CPU rail to 100%. However, this is a normal priority thread that will not lead to deadlock or interrupt network communication.

VeriStand helps you get your hardware-in-the-loop or test cell control and monitoring system up and running faster. VeriStand provides integrated support for a range of NI-XNET devices, NI-DAQ devices, and NI FPGA targets. The National Instruments development team is pleased to announce the availability of FlexRIO 20.7 is an NI instrument driver that supports FlexRIO devices. It includes hardware support for FlexRIO devices with integrated I/O, as well as FlexRIO devices with modular I/O, including the PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO and the various adapter modules for FlexRIO. For FlexRIO devices with integrated I/O, the FlexRIO Driver also includes an API for streaming as well as support for synchronization with NI-TClk.


FlexRIO was designed for engineers and scientists who need the flexibility of custom hardware without the cost of custom design. Featuring large, user-programmable FPGAs and high-speed analog, digital, and RF I/O, FlexRIO provides a fully reconfigurable instrument that you can program graphically with LabVIEW or with VHDL/Verilog. FlexRIO products are available in two architectures. The first architecture incorporates modular I/O modules that attach to the front of a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO and communicate over a parallel digital interface, and the second uses high-speed serial converters and features integrated I/O and Xilinx UltraScale FPGA technology in a single device.

Hard Disk 24 GB free disk space (which includes the 16 GB install footprint for a complete installation), 10-25 GB depending on additional installations such as Companion Features and Companion Products.
Video See the graphics card manufacturer for latest information on DirectX drivers. 512 MB of video RAM or higher is recommended. If insufficient video RAM or no graphics card supported by DirectX can be found, OpenPlant Modeler attempts to use software emulation. For optimal performance, graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using a color depth setting of 16-bit, some inconsistencies will be noted. Modeling, analysis and design of bridge structures have been integrated into CSiBridge to create the ultimate in computerized engineering tools. The ease with which all of these tasks can be accomplished makes CSiBridge the most versatile and productive software program available on the market today. Using CSiBridge, engineers can easily define complex bridge geometries, boundary conditions and load cases. The bridge models are defined parametrically, using terms that are familiar to bridge engineers such as layout lines, spans, bearings, abutments, bents, hinges and post-tensioning. The software creates spine, shell or solid object models that update automatically as the bridge definition parameters are changed.


CSiBridge design allows for quick and easy design and retrofitting of steel and concrete bridges. The parametric modeler allows the user to build simple or complex bridge models and to make changes efficiently while maintaining total control over the design process. Lanes and vehicles can be defined quickly and include width effects. Simple and practical Gantt charts are available to simulate modeling of construction sequences and scheduling.

CSiBridge includes an easy to follow wizard that outlines the steps necessary to create a bridge model.

Completely integrated within the CSiBridge design package is the power of the SAPFire® analysis engine, including staged construction, creep and shrinkage analysis, cable tensioning to target forces, camber and shape finding, geometric nonlinearity (P-delta and large displacements), material nonlinearity (superstructure, bearings, substructure and soil supports), buckling and static and dynamic analysis. All of these apply to a single comprehensive model. In addition, AASHTO LRFD design is included with automated load combinations, superstructure design and the latest seismic design.
