The simplified importing will save you hours of time with our new smarter importing algorithms. Simply try importing a text or Excel file to see how fast you'll go from raw data to statistical insight.

Custom Tables refresh. Custom Tables is one of our most popular modules. Its drag and drop interface is easy to use while providing the ability to generate everything from simple summaries to deep statistical output. We've now made this procedure even more powerful by adding new statistical functionality and customer requested features. Navigate to Analyze -> Custom Tables menu to try it for yourself.

Other enhancements include a new modern look for table output, Python 3 programmability, revert to saved functionality, support for additional date/time formats, and more.

Siemens become the first major CAD/CAM/CAE vendor to deliver its software using Continuous Release methodology in January 2019. The new Continuous Release process significantly reduce the time between the proposal of a new enhancement, and its deployment to the end users. Customers will now have the opportunity to deploy the latest NX productivity enhancements more quickly in their production environment which helps them become more productive when using NX. In addition the Continuous Release will also reduce deployment costs for incremental updates.

Adopting a continuous release strategy also allows both Siemens NX and our customers to be more responsive to new ideas and trends in technology, once again allowing our customers to stay ahead of their competition.

Files save in the NX-1926 Series (NX-1926 and higher) cannot be opened in the NX-1899 Series and lower versions of the NX

Minimum Operating Systems
- Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) Pro and Enterprise editions
Windows 10
Windows 10 is the minimum supported release for NX 1926. The supported versions of Windows 10 are the Pro and Enterprise editions utilizing Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) updates.
Windows 7 and 8.1
Windows 7 has reached the end of life and mainstream support has ended. Windows 8.1 is still supported by Microsoft, but was rarely deployed. These two versions of Windows are no longer supported by NX 1926. Siemens Digital Industries Software has not performed testing on these version and cannot resolve any issues related to NX 1926 running on these operating systems. If NX 1926 is deployed on these versions of Windows, any issues will have to be replicated on Windows 10 before filing an incident report with GTAC.
Windows XP and Vista
Windows XP support from Microsoft has ended and Vista was rarely deployed so these two versions of Windows are not supported by NX 1926. Siemens PLM Software has not performed testing on these versions and cannot resolve any issues related to NX 1926 running on these operating systems. If NX 1926 is deployed on these versions of Windows, any issues will have to be replicated on Windows 10 before filing an incident report with GTAC

O&O DiskImage 15 lets you back up an entire computer or single files whenever you want - even while the computer is being used. In the event you should lose your personal data it can be quickly restored with just a few mouse clicks - even when Windows is no longer able to start. It also supports SSD drives and the latest UEFI System.

O&O DiskImage lets you carry out a system restore and to duplicate or clone an entire PC or hard drive. You can even restore this backup onto a computer whose hardware is different from the original machine, for instance, where you have changed a motherboard on the target machine or have bought a brand new PC and want to restore an old backup onto it.

A regular backup is still something that many users prefer to avoid. At least that is until they suffer their first loss of important files as a result of software, hardware or user error: that's when it becomes crystal clear just how valuable a reliable and up-to-date backup really is!

NEW: Substructure Rebuilt
The entire O&O DiskImage substructure has been completely rebuilt to enable us to add new functions and enhancements quicker and much more regular. The speed of all the base functions has also been increased as a result.

New: DiskImage To Go
Previously, in addition to regularly backing up your machine, you also had to separately create an O&O DiskImage boot media to restore that backup. Everything is easier now! The new DiskImage To Go function automatically turns an external hard drive (or USB flash drive with enough storage space) into an O&O DiskImage boot medium and marks this disk as the preferred storage medium for future system backups. As soon as you then connect this external USB hard disk to your computer, O&O DiskImage 15 automatically creates a backup. This makes it easy to create a recent backup. And if something really happens to your computer or you want to transfer your system and all your data to a new computer, then with the O&O DiskImage boot medium you can restore the backup stored on it with just one touch of a button. Without the hassle of searching for the boot medium and the external hard drive with the backup. It has never been so easy to ensure the security of your data!

Restoring a backup with O&O DiskImage is as easy as pie: all you have to do is start the program, select the backup you want to restore, and you're off. Included with the software is our machine independent restoration which means your old backup can be transferred 1:1 onto a new machine. Hardware of a different make will be automatically recognized and Windows settings will be carried out by themselves.

Plug-and-play function
Anyone wanting to save data on an external hard disk has it even easier with the new O&O DiskImage 15. Thanks to the integrated plug-and -play option, selected files and folders can be backed up automatically as soon as, for example, an external hard disk is connected to the computer. This is ideal for users who forget to carry out regular backups or who don't want to go through the trouble. Once configured, the auto backup function runs by itself.

Create a boot medium directly from within the program
O&O DiskImage can bring a system back to life immediately and with no installation required. It does so by way of a Boot Medium (USB Stick or CD/DVD) which is based on the currently installed Windows system and which contains all the standard drivers required.

Thea for SketchUp is a combination of powerful rendering engines of Thea with the simplicity of SketchUp. Having biased, unbiased and interactive render modes including GPU support at your fingertips, inside SketchUp view, is a joyful experience. The plugin lets you enrich your models with highly detailed three dimensional content, breaking old limitations related to handled model complexity.

Back Face Material Support:
Different materials can be applied to the front and back face of a surface allowing the creation of unique effects like fabric, leaves and more.

Interactive Render Overlay:
Thea for SketchUp allows you to run interactive rendering either inside Thea window or directly inside the SketchUp view, a feature that we call interactive render overlay. Additionally, with the use of interactive region rendering, you can select and render a region of the SketchUp view, providing ultra-fast feedback for complex scenery. It is a valuable tool in the workflow as it gives you an immediate visualization of modifications to the geometry, environment, depth of field, reflections, light distribution, material properties and external Thea models.

Advanced Material Editor:
The advanced Thea material editor has been fully integrated in SketchUp, bringing all the advanced and unique features of Thea materials. The user interface has been redesigned from scratch following SketchUp's simplicity and ease of use.

Adjust Exposure:
The Adjust Exposure button takes away the manual process of finding the correct exposure of the rendered image with one click. On top of that, three new exposure presets have been added for different scene types (interior, interior with sunlight, exterior).

Proxy Creation from FBX:
In Thea for SketchUp it is possible to import FBX, OBJ, DAE and 3DS files and convert them to Proxy Models. While importing a file the user is able to adjust the proxy materials.

Online Repository:
The Online Repository [link] can now be accessed directly from the Thea content browser. To download an online material, double-click the thumbnail. After the download is complete, the material can be applied with the Bucket tool. Since downloaded materials are saved locally, there is no need to re-download them.

Stereoscopic Rendering:
Stereoscopic image output exports two 360-degree images for both eyes, letting you see the model in 3D using simple red-cyan glasses or VR headset.

Fog & Cloud Presets:
With Thea for SketchUp you can adjust the Global Medium of your scene, via the settings at the Environment tab. The Fog preset allows you to control the fog density, the bottom and top positions, and create unique photorealistic renderings.
Additionally, there is also a Cloud material preset for adding volumetric effects on defined solid groups or components.
