Adobe Photoshop CS5 Features
Simple & Smooth Process
To select preferences, go to Menu Bar on the top of the screen and click on the Edit menu, a list of preferences opens, select the General category. The Interface, File Handling, Performance, and other categories are housed on the left of the dialog box. The CS5 handles multiple preferences for creating a masterpiece of the workflow. Here are some important preferences are given,
-Image Interpolation controls the pixels in the image while resizing it to large size and use Bicubic Sharper to reduce the size.
-Export Clipboard enables you to export the image to computer memory from Photoshop and paste it to any other program.
-Zoom Preferences are of three types such as Zoom Resizes Windows is for resizing the document window, Zoom Clicked Point to Center is for re-center the image on the screen, and Zoom with Scroll Wheel is for zooming in or out through your mouse.
-Set the user interface category from the left of the dialog box and you can increase the size of the interface by using the UI Font Size option. Here a short description is available on the Show ToolTips.
-Image Border is for creating a thin border and a drop shadow for making your image attractive.
-File Handling Preferences such as Ask Before Saving Layered TIFF files, Maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility, and Recent File List is housed on the left of the dialog box.
-Performance Preferences such as Memory Usage, History & Cache, Scratch Disks, and Enable OpenGL Drawing are also housed on the left of the dialog box.
-Cursor Preferences which are basically related to brush-related tools are also situated on the left of the dialog box.
-Unit & Ruler Preferences are for measuring pixels and are also situated on the left of the dialog box.
-Type Preferences are for changing the font is also housed on the left of the dialog box.
Use of Multiple Tools
The CS5 application has multiple old as well as upgraded tools that enable the users to create a unique and attractive work of art. Such as Spot-Healing Brush with its latest Content-Aware-Healing option for removing and repairing the damaged image, Content-Aware Fill tool is for replacing or repairing big areas.
The polygonal Lasso tool enlarges the document in the full-screen mode. Pen Tool is for drawing outlines. Clone Stamp Tool is for creating a duplicate of the original image. Shape Tool provides different shapes such as circle, rectangular, square, etc. selection Tool enables you to select all or any part of the image for cutting, copying, retouching the image. Eyedropper Tool is for choosing a color.

Color Palettes

Brush Editing
With TwistedBrush Pro Studio full brush editing capabilities are included. Using a specialized sequencing system over 400 brushes effects and 150 time envelopes modify the core brush types to produce the wide range of brushes. Layers and Transparency
TwistedBrush fully supports transparency and layers with all the standard layer mixing modes plus many unique mixing modes that can't be found anywhere else. Layers are accessed from either the layer mini bar on the left or the full Layer panel on the right.
Masks
TwistedBrush Pro Studio has extensive mask support for protecting and selecting parts of your images. Use the Magic Wand tool with the wide range of options for creating masks or use masking brushes to paint your masks. In addition to dedicated tools for masking there are masking (and unmasking) brushes as well as a special mask actions available from the Mask menu.

Shown on the right is the menu selection for filters. The Blur category of filters alone has 17 different types of blurs all of which can be configured is custom control panels. The depth of filters in TwistedBrush Pro Studio is amazing!
Clips
A fantastic productivity system that allows for easy storage and reuse of your clipped images and photo elements for use later.
Tracing paper
A drawing guide that allows you to see another image below your current image. Great when used with cloning brushes or just for a guide for proportions and layout.
Brush control
TwistedBrush Pro Studio Brush Control is a custom control panel that changes for every Pro brush. The brush editor allows the designer to define exposed control points for a brush to make it easy to tune a selected brush without needing to understand the details of brush editing.
Cloning
With the cloning brushes included in TwistedBrush Pro Studio and available for TwistedBrush Open Studio you can do all the standard cloning actions for photo touchup or convert your photos into the look of paintings or drawings.
Image formats

PortScan is an easy to use network scanner that can quickly check an IP range and return information about the alive machines. Especially useful if you wish to check the details of your network's computers, PortScan is not quite a complicated program, although it's more or less obvious that it's not addressed to beginners.
Its clean interface relies on a tabbed layout, so you can easily access the feature you want with a single click.
Scanning the network is as easy as inputting the IP range, while PortScan takes care of the whole job for you. It scans all available ports and shows details such as MAC address, hostname, open ports and HTTP servers for each connected machine.
Additionally, you can also start a ping session and ping an IP address or a hostname, with three modes at your disposal: 3 short pings, large ping suite and continuously pigging.
Last but not least, the application incorporates a speed testing tool with basic options, thus helping you determine the download and upload speed of your network connection.
PortScan works like a charm regardless of the Windows version running on your system, remaining friendly with hardware resources all the time. You don't need administrator privileges on Windows 7 machines, but you may have to grant access to the network in your firewall.
All in all, PortScan is a decent app that serves its purpose and, what's more, it relies on a very clean interface to get information about HTTP, FTP, SMTP and SMB services.
