C-STAT enhancements

MISRA C:2012 Amendment 1
The static analysis tool C-STAT has extended its coverage of the MISRA C:2012 Coding Standard and now fully supports MISRA C:2012 Amendment 1. This amendment adds 14 additional rules to MISRA C:2012 with a focus on security concerns highlighted by the ISO C Secure Guidelines. Several of these address specific issues pertaining to the use of untrustworthy data, a well-known security vulnerability.

Extended coverage of CERT C
The static analysis tool C-STAT has extended its coverage of the SEI CERT C Coding Standard. The SEI CERT C Coding Standard's goal is to provide rules for developing safe, reliable, and secure systems in the C programming language, with support for C11 constructs. C-STAT covers all rules in the different CERT C sections listed on the CERT C wiki as of January 2020, with the exception of the API, CON, POS, and WIN sections, which are not applicable to IAR Systems products, yielding a total of 90 covered rules.

Link analysis trace information
The link analysis messages now display trace information when relevant. For checks looking for conflicting symbol names, all conflicting declarations are now listed in the trace information instead of each pair of conflicts being described in a separate message. This might lead to fewer reported messages for the same number of found issues.

IAR Build Tools for Linux
A new product called IAR Build Tools for Renesas RX has been introduced. It requires a separate product license and is distributed as a Debian package for Ubuntu containing the IAR C/C++ Compiler, IAR Assembler, Linker and library tools, C-STAT, IARBuild, and runtime libraries.

Renesas Smart Configurator update
The Renesas Smart Configurator (included) has been updated to V2.7.0.


IAR Embedded Workbench is a complete development toolchain including the highly optimizing IAR C/C++ Compiler and the feature-rich C-SPY Debugger. The software is complemented by native debugging and trace probes. The debug probe I-jet supports on-chip RAM buffered trace, in addition to fast JTAG/cJTAG/DAP debug and is complemented by the powerful trace probe I-jet Trace, which can livestream trace information for code coverage and profiling purposes. The new trace features include an updated trace control and status window that provides developers with full control of all active settings and the live trace status of the application. The C-SPY Debugger will decode trace and calculate coverage and profiling as the application executes, populating the respective windows on the fly. This live update enables developers to monitor everything from the available trace buffer to the number of covered instructions. In addition, function profiling makes it possible to see and analyze timing information for the functions in an application, while code coverage analysis shows the percentage of code that has been executed down to single instruction resolution. These combined capabilities offer a non-intrusive and easy-to-use code optimization tool.

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is pleased to announce the release of VISI 2020.0.2045 (SU2045). Visi 2021 base release sees a raft of improvements, including those made to its CAD analysis, multi-element body-to-mould, and part-unfolding elements.


Hexagon has announced the release of VISI 2021, its specialist mold and die CAD/CAM software. The new release features a number of enhancements, according to the company.

Vero VISI is acknowledged as one of the worlds leading CAD/CAM solutions for the mold & die industries. It offers a unique combination of applications, fully integrated wireframe, surface and solid modeling, and comprehensive 2D, 3D, and 5-axis machining strategies with dedicated high speed routines. Industry-specific applications for plastic injection tool design, including material flow analysis and progressive die design with step-by-step unfolding, provide the toolmaker with unsurpassed levels of productivity.

CAD: analysis benefits from a new function which improves the suite of analysis-shading modes. Draft Analysis has been added to the existing Undercut and Accessibility shading, performing an on-the-fly analysis of the draft angle. This uses the same technique as in the undercut mode, but extended to more ranges. The colors and angular value of each range can be changed by simply clicking on the colors or numeric labels on the graphics toolbar.

Repair functions used in the Repair Invalid Faces of Bodies command are now integrated in the Validate command. It is now also possible to zoom in on any potential issues using the Auto Zoom function.

Developments to the CAD Reverse module enhanced the Reverse and Casting processes. The scanning operation has been improved with the shaded view, giving better and faster feedback. Also, new features have been added to increase the probing solution. 'Leapfrog' management in Casting has been reviewed to guarantee correct scanning with the laser tracker, for both small and large parts. And Reverse projects now benefit from faster and more precise surface creation.

With Point Scanning, the shaded point cloud is now shown during the scanning operation, giving the operator an immediate view of what has been correctly scanned, and if anything is missing.

An additional option has been added to automatically create a mesh as a scanning result, which Cafasso says is particularly valuable when a quicker, rather than detailed, result is needed.

Enhancements to probing during the Reverse process include the ability to detect the correct diameter of the part in relation to the position of the probed points. A Circle/Slot probing feature has been added for probing and designing a circle or slot, giving several options to guarantee the probed element is the correct size and in the correct position.

The new Curve probing feature allows the user to probe a curve alongside the part. This can save time where curves are used to identify the shape - they can be used to create the relative surfaces, avoiding the need to create a mesh first.

A Mesh to Advanced Surface feature has been added for creating a good quality surface, representing an alternative to the standard Mesh to Surface command.

MOLD - Body to Mold: Additional options to existing commands, along with new items of functionality, make part position management considerably easier. With Body to Mold, there is a new option for selecting multiple elements, including solids and surfaces, and moving the selected bodies to the mold position. During part positioning, 'not uniform scaling values' can now be defined by the user and the system automatically sets the relative shrinkage data in a special Assembly Manager field.

With Mold to Body, the system allows multiple elements to be selected, including solids and surfaces, and to move he complete mold back into Body position. When browsing mold parts, the system lists those which have been defined as 'body to mold,' showing all relevant data. And defined 'shrinkage' data can be edited in the 'reset scale on parts' function.

PROGRESS - Part Unfolding: To provide a powerful and complete solution to this new unfolding approach, additional features have been included for flanges and parts with non-linear blends. "The aim is to study and modify a part, preserving the links between the different unfolding steps," Cafasso says.

The Part Definition feature has been improved, delivering better and faster part analysis, identifying the different face types, defining material, and setting linear bends for unfolding. Different colors can be set in relation to different neutral-fiber values, providing quick identification for unfolded linear bends and fiber values.

CAM Simulation: An interface with Hexagon's G-code simulator, NCSIMUL Advanced, is offered as a cost option in VISI 2021. Cafasso explains that NCSIMUL manages the complete machining process from the NC program to the machined part. "Its capabilities include automatic G-code reprogramming, G-code simulation and cutting-tool management," he says.

An enhanced waveform algorithm prevents tool damage around pegs (or thin walls) left during the milling process. Those areas are now identified, and the XY step reduced, smoothing the corners. This reduces tool stress, making damage or breakage much less likely.

WIRE: VISI 2021 introduces a new command, which duplicates an existing wire EDM machine, improving project management for manufacturers using two or more different models from the same machine manufacturer, such as Sodick and Agie.

The era of the seven is slowly disappearing. Fewer programs support this operating system. And Adobe with its products acts as a locomotive in this matter. But, at times, you really want to delay the time, work longer with your favorite programs on the operating system, which during its existence has won true people's love for its smallness and friendly interface. For those who do not want to move towards the always lagging dozen, with the interface constantly changing not for the better, I created this assembly.


Adobe Special Collection for Windows 7is a collection of applications that have been part of the Creative Cloud line in different years. The applications are combined by a multilingual installer with the ability to select the installation path and interface language of the installed programs. Every single program can be freely installed on Windows 7. If possible, both 64-bit and 32-bit editions are available. If you want stable, time-tested Adobe products that can run on the good 7, then this build is for you. Use it!

- I, m0nkrus, discovered the hidden ability to use the standalone Adobe installer for multi-installation, and PainteR "caught" the missing syntax to initialize it.​
- The assembly was created on the basis of the hybrid Adobe installer I assembled, based on version 5.3.1.470.
- Everything is cut from the installer that is not required directly for the installation and operation of the installed applications.
- The offline installer integrates into Windows 7 a certificate confirming the modern Adobe electronic signature.
- The installer provides a choice of installation path and program interface language.
- If possible, all language packs are excluded from the distributions included in the assembly, except for Russian and English.
- The distribution kit of the Adobe Fuse program was specially adapted by me for the modern type of installer to become part of this assembly.

- For most programs, when authorized with your Adobe ID, the "Library" panel (CC Library) becomes available.

Question: The assembly is positioned as intended for Windows 7. Can it be installed on more modern operating systems?​
Answer: Of course you can.

Question: Some of the programs, although declared by you as working on Windows 7, do not officially support the seven. Will there be problems?
Answer: All these programs have undergone repeated testing on Windows 7. No problems have been identified.

Question: I liked your suggestion to supplement the collection with the second assembly disk of Adobe Master Collection 2019 RUS-ENG v7. Only there are a couple of duplicates of programs already available here. Can I get rid of them?
Answer:For myself, I did this. No joke, Fuse takes up half the size of the second disc! You are unlikely to be able to properly cut it out of there yourself. But I will help you. After you download the designated second disk, put a small patch next to it and run it. In a few minutes, an updated version of the disc will appear next to it without unnecessary programs and with a slightly adjusted installer interface to match the style of this assembly.

Question: The window where the choice of installed applications should be carried out is empty for me. It only contains the assembly logo. How to be?
Answer: For the installer to work, you must have Internet Explorer version 11. Install or update this product to bring the system in line with the installer's requirements.

Question: I cannot click the "Continue" button because the contents of the window do not fit into the window itself, and the button is out of sight. What to do?
Answer: This sometimes happens on a crookedly configured OS. The keyboard has a TAB key. Click it to the desired menu item.

Question: I have a gag at the initial stage of the installation, not described above. Can you suggest something?
Answer: Try replacing the Set-up.exe file used in the distribution with the one downloaded from here .

Question: The installation completed with an error. What to do?
Answer: Read the decoding of error codes... Also, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the installation logs. They are located in the C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Adobe \ Installers folder (for a 32-bit system) or in the C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Common Files \ Adobe \ Installers folder (for a 64-bit system). Perhaps here you can get more detailed information about the problem and how to fix it.

Question: When launching Photoshop 2020, I got an error related to the D3DCOMPILER_47.dll file. What to do?
Answer: Install Windows update KB4019990 .

Question: When I launch Animate 2020, I just have a black background instead of the Start screen. What to do?
Answer:Alas, the medicine used for the program is not able to cope with this problem. If the presence of the Start screen is not particularly important for you, then simply use the program menu to create / open a file. If you want to contemplate the Start screen at startup, you need to log in with your Adobe ID by selecting "Help-> Sign In" in the program menu.

Question: When I launched Premiere Pro 2019, I got a window with a notification about the incompatibility of the program with my OS. What to do?
Answer: Just click the "Ignore" button in this window and continue working calmly. This window won't bother you anymore.

Question: Why can't video processing programs see formats that they seem to support?
Answer:Back in the Creative Cloud 2015 line, Adobe developers made Russian localization of some programs that had no Russian interface before. Alas, they did it rather carelessly and carelessly. In the Russian versions of After Effects, Premiere Pro and Prelude of the 2015-2019 lines, glitches sometimes occur that are not in the English versions of these products. If you have a Russian version, before starting to blame the author of the assembly, install the English version and see if there are the same problems on it.

Question: Even if I choose English when installing, Media Encoder 2019 is still in Russian? What to do?
Answer:The program is installed at once with all available languages. For some unknown reason, the priority language for it is the language of the operating system, and not the one that was set during installation. But in the settings of the installed program, you can easily select the desired language. Go to "Edit-> Preferences ...-> Appearance-> Language" (Edit-> Preferences ...-> Apperance-> Language). For some reason, switching the language works for me only the second time. But it works!

Question: Can I change the interface language of an already installed Premiere Pro 2019?
Answer:Yes. With the program running, press the key combination Ctrl + F12, and in the Console panel, switch (the icon with three stripes) to the Debug Database View mode. Opposite ApplicationLanguage, replace the language code with the one you want. After that, restart the program and enjoy the selected interface language. I want to warn you that when switching the interface language, "hot keys" sometimes fall off. To prevent this from happening, while you still have the original interface, in the "Change" menu, select "Keyboard shortcuts". In the window that opens, click the "Save As" button and save the current default configuration under a name different from the original (typed in Latin).

Question: Is it possible for Premiere Pro 2019 and Media Encoder 2019 to make the interface bilingual, so that it is in Russian, and in parentheses is duplicated in English?
Answer: Yes. With the program running, press the key combination Ctrl + F12, and in the Console panel, switch (the icon with three stripes) to the Debug Database View mode. Opposite ApplicationLanguageBilingual, replace false with true. After that, restart the program and enjoy the bilingual interface.

Question: You wrote about disabling spy modules. Can be more?
Answerisabled spyware modules Adobe Crash Reporter Service (CRWindowsClientService.exe) and Log Transport Application (LogTransport2.exe). The files that initialize them have been renamed to CRWindowsClientService.exe.bak and LogTransport2.exe.bak. If you suddenly have a desire to restore their functionality, simply remove the .bak extension from them. Anticipating the question of some users why, they say, the same CRLogTransport.exe or AdobeIPCBroker.exe are not blocked, I want to say that the first of them is controlled by the blocked CRWindowsClientService.exe, and without it it will not send anything anywhere, and without the second the libraries will not work.

Question: What about drugs in the current build version?
Answer:Craftsmen have released drugs for this line of programs. The treated files were embedded by me into the distributions of the programs, so you don't need to do anything for the treatment. Treatment solutions from uncia, cppasm and PainteR are involved. Just in case, the original files are saved with the .bak extension. To restore them, remove the .bak extension from these files and replace the existing patched files with them.

Question: What needs to be done to make it possible to work with libraries?
Answer:To activate the CC Library panel, you need to connect to the Adobe server with your ID by selecting Help-> Sign In from the menu of any program and being authorized. I want to warn you right away that due to the peculiarities of the treatment, authorization (and, as a consequence, working with libraries) is not available for almost all 32-bit programs. The exceptions are Acrobat Pro DC (it can receive secondary authorization from another application) and Photoshop 2018. Also, the Libraries panel cannot be activated in those programs in which this was not originally provided by Adobe.

Question: I have repeatedly logged in with my Adobe ID, but for some reason the authorization keeps failing. What's wrong?
Answer:This problem is due to your use of some of the 32 bit programs. These are Bridge 2019, Dreamweaver 2019, Illustrator 2019, InCopy 2019 and InDesign 2019. When you launch any of these applications, the authorization flies from all the others.

Question: How are things going with the removal of the package programs?
Answer:All applications will be available for uninstallation using standard Windows tools. Everything installed will be presented in the form of separate aninstallers for each program. Sometimes, when uninstalling programs, the uninstallation progress reaches 100% and everything freezes. This is a small aninstaller glitch that the developers won't fix in any way. If you encounter this, then start the Windows Task Manager and interrupt the work of two processes named Set-up.exe. Don't worry, the deletion will be complete at that time.

Physical Acquisition of iOS Devices
Physical acquisition is the only acquisition method to extract full application data, protected keychain items, downloaded messages and location history. Physical acquisition returns more information compared to logical acquisition due to direct low-level access to data. Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit supports jailbroken 64-bit devices (iPhone 5s and newer) running most versions of iOS 7 through 12.

Logical Acquisition with Keychain Extraction
iOS Forensic Toolkit supports logical acquisition, a simpler and safer acquisition method compared to physical. Logical acquisition produces a standard iTunes-style backup of information stored in the device. While logical acquisition returns less information than physical, experts are recommended to create a logical backup of the device before attempting more invasive acquisition techniques.

Logical acquisition with iOS Forensic Toolkit is the only acquisition methods allowing access to encrypted keychain items. Logical acquisition should be used in combination with physical for extracting all possible types of evidence.

Media and Shared Files Extraction
iOS Forensic Toolkit offers the ability to quickly extract media files such as Camera Roll, books, voice recordings, and iTunes media library. As opposed to creating a local backup, which could be a potentially lengthy operation, media extraction works quickly and easily on all supported devices. Extraction from locked devices is possible by using a pairing record (lockdown file).

In addition to media files, iOS Forensic Toolkit can extract stored files of multiple apps, extracting crucial evidence from 32-bit and 64-bit devices without a jailbreak. While access to app data without a jailbreak is limited, this new technique allows extracting Adobe Reader and Microsoft Office locally stored documents, MiniKeePass password database, and a lot more. The extraction requires an unlocked device or a non-expired lockdown record. If a lockdown record is used, some files may not be accessible unless the lock screen passcode is removed.
