In this way RAM-disks perform like persistent storage and retain contents across computer restarts, even though the system memory is volatile. Various imaging functions and options are offered.

Built-in File Systems
FAT, FAT32, exFAT and NTFS file systems are built-in, thus RAM-disks can be formatted and ready to use at very early stage during the computer boot, without the need of format scripts or imaging files.

Overcome Windows Memory Limits
Able to recognize the system's invisible memory and use it for RAM-disks, overcoming the Windows memory limits, especially the 4GB issue in 32-bit Windows, while allowing all installed physical memory to be fully utilized.

Remo 3D™ is an effective tool for creating and modifying 3D models intended for realtime visualization. Remo 3D's primary file format is OpenFlight® and it allows for importing from and exporting to different file formats.

Realtime Features
As opposed to many other 3D modeling products that are primarily intended for rendering, Remo 3D offers the user full control of the model scene graph and allows for modification of features like degree-of-freedom nodes, level-of-detail nodes, switch nodes, etc. Furthermore, the process of creating models in Remo 3D allows for focusing on the individual polygons and vertices. All in all, this makes Remo 3D exceptionally suitable for creating and modifying 3D models intended for realtime visualization.

Automation
Remo 3D supports scripting of all interactively available functionality in Remo 3D. A Remo 3D script is written in the Lua scripting language, but all interactive operations in Remo 3D can also be automatically recorded to a script, so that no coding has to be made.

User-defined macros (script + parameters) can be added, effectively acting as new tools in Remo 3D. This makes the product extensible in the sense that users can add new functionality and share scripts and macros between each other.

CPUBalance is a lightweight tool that uses the company's ProBalance technology to monitor and prevent running processes from hogging the processor, in order to improve the system's response time. This application can be run standalone or along with Process Lasso, enhancing its existing ProBalance feature.

Monitor running processes to block CPU hogs
Following a speedy installation that shouldn't be difficult, CPUBalance gets integrated into the systray at startup, although it doesn't draw your attention. Also, it adds itself to the Windows autstart sequence to run automatically every time you turn on you computer.
As soon as it's fired up, the utility begins to keep an eye on your running processes, taking note of their activity, such as time of launch and process priority change. Clicking the tray icon brings up the main window, where you can view a list of all processes sorted by the restraint count.

Set process restraints and view detailed logs
This way, you can get a better idea of the programs that typically use more CPU. In addition to the restraint count, you can check out the name, frequency of actions, and last time of restraint. To prevent the program from affecting a process' priority, you can add it to an exclusion list from the right-click menu.
Furthermore, you can open the log to view extensive details about each action taken by CPUBalance, including the time, process name, action (e.g. ProBalance restraint ended, process priority temporarily lowered), more information, computer and user name, path, and command line. Filters can be applied if you're trying to locate a particular event. This log can be saved as a CSV file.

Set exclusions and change the CPU affinity during restraints
Returning to the main window, you can disable ProBalance from the menu or set it to disarm itself when the PC is idle, play sound on process events, manage excluded processes, disable core parking or lower I/O priority during restraint as well as allow or forbid the app from acting on system services, non-normal priority processes, foreground processes or children of foreground processes. Also, the CPU affinity can be changed during restraint.

Promising process manager for CPU-related events
All aspects considered, CPUBalance can become a reliable assistant for controlling the behavior of CPU-demanding processes, especially for users who frequently work with multiple applications at the same time. It ran smoothly on Windows 10 in our tests, and we're patiently waiting for a stable release of the product.

Design collages or posters

Batch convert, watermark, rename or rotate
When you are interested in processing multiple graphic files at the same time, Picosmos Tools can prove helpful. You can navigate to a folder, preview all supported files, and then specify the action you want to perform.

You can convert them to a different format, adjust the output quality, overlay text or image watermarks and rename them according to a user-defined pattern. You also get to rotate or flip them, and to organize them by date or resolution.

All in all, Picosmos Tools might seem a little overwhelming at first sight, but once you take the time to toy around with its many functions, you discover they are easy to use and flexible.

Without opening each and every folder, you can browse the directory structure starting at any point by clicking the right mouse button on a file, folder or drive.
