UpdatePack7R2 - the set allows you to update the operating system, and also to integrate updates into the distribution.​

Can be installed on any revision of Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, any bit depth and any language. Includes updates for all versions of Internet Explorer, all critical, recommended and security updates.The system must have at least 10 GB of free space on the hard drive and preferably not less than 1 GB of free RAM.

For flexible installation of the set, you can use the following keys and their combinations:

· Key / Reboot to automatically reboot, if required.

· / S key for completely silent installation without windows and messages. The register matters.

· Key / Silent for passive installation - you can see the progress, but the installation is completely automatic.

· Key / IE11 to install Internet Explorer 11 and localize it.

· The / Temp = key allows you to specify a temporary working directory. It does not have to be empty, but it must exist.

· The / NoSpace key allows you to skip checking for free space on the system partition, it is not recommended to use it.

· You must automatically install all the updates, IE11 and restart the computer: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 / silent / reboot

· You need to hide all updates to existing products, do not change the version of IE, you do not have to restart the computer: UpdatePack7R2.exe / S

The following keys are intended to integrate updates into the distribution:

· The / WimFile = key specifies the location of the wim file, you must specify an absolute path.

· / Index = specifies the index of the system in the wim-file, for each index it is necessary to perform the integration again.

· The / Index = * key allows one-by-one integration of updates into all indexes of the wim-file.

· Before you specify an index, it's useful to run the command: Dism / Get-WimInfo /WimFile:C:\install.wim (replace the path with your own).

· Not all updates can be integrated (see table), but they will not affect the security of the system.

Examples:

· It is necessary to integrate IE11 and all updates into 1 index: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 /WimFile=C:\install.wim / Index = 1

· It is necessary to integrate IE11 and all updates into all indexes: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 /WimFile=C:\install.wim / Index = *

· It is necessary to integrate only updates to existing products, the version of IE does not change: UpdatePack7R2.exe /WimFile=C:\install.wim / Index = 1

1. It is possible to automatically install SP1 if it is not installed on the system. To do this, you need to place the Windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe and Windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe files in the same directory as the set.

2. If there is UpdatePack7R2Start.cmd next to the set, it will be performed before installing updates, UpdatePack7R2Finish.cmd - after installation, UpdatePack7R2Wim.cmd - after integration of updates. By default, the console windows will be displayed. To hide them, the first line in the cmd file should start with ": hide" (without the quotes). The set of updates tracks the exit code from the cmd-files, in case of need to reboot. This code is 3010 (exit 3010).

3. If you want to apply your tweaks after installing Internet Explorer 11 on the production system, place the ie11.reg file in the folder with the set and it will be imported automatically.

4. Some keys can be replaced by renaming the file of the set itself. So to install IE11, you can add the word "ie11" to any place in the file name of the set, "-" for automatic reboot and "++" for passive installation.

Examples:

It is necessary to automatically install the set on the working system together with IE11 and restart the computer: Rename UpdatePack7R2.exe to UpdatePack7R2 - ie11 ++. Exe

This will be the same as using the following keys: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 / silent / reboot

This application can be run standalone or along with Process Lasso, enhancing its existing ProBalance feature. Monitor running processes to block CPU hogs

Following a speedy installation that shouldn't be difficult, CPUBalance gets integrated into the systray at startup, although it doesn't draw your attention. Also, it adds itself to the Windows autstart sequence to run automatically every you turn on you computer.

As soon as it's fired up, the utility bs to keep an eye on your running processes, taking note of their activity, such as of launch and process priority change. Clicking the tray icon brings up the main window, where you can view a list of all processes sorted by the restraint count.

Set process restraints and view detailed logs

This way, you can get a better idea of the programs that typically use more CPU. In addition to the restraint count, you can check out the name, frequency of actions, and last of restraint. To prevent the program from affecting a process' priority, you can add it to an exclusion list from the right-click menu.

Furthermore, you can open the log to view extensive details about each action taken by CPUBalance, including the , process name, action (e.g. ProBalance restraint ended, process priority temporarily lowered), more information, computer and user name, path, and command line. Filters can be applied if you're trying to locate a particular event. This log can be saved as a CSV file.

Set exclusions and change the CPU affinity during restraints

Returning to the main window, you can disable ProBalance from the menu or set it to disarm itself when the PC is idle, play sound on process events, manage excluded processes, disable core parking or lower I/O priority during restraint as well as allow or forbid the app from acting on system services, non-normal priority processes, foreground processes or children of foreground processes. Also, the CPU affinity can be changed during restraint.

All aspects considered, CPUBalance can become a reliable assistant for controlling the behavior of CPU-demanding processes, especially for users who frequently work with multiple applications at the same . Postbox is a powerful application that aims to provide you with all the tools for keeping in touch with your friends and business partners.​

It can handle multiple email accounts and allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds in order to read the latest news. Well-organized and pretty familiar interface

The program is based on the popular Mozilla Thunderbird email client and its interface features the popular accounts, folders and messages panels for easy access. The message pane allows you to view the content of the current email which can also be opened in a new tab.

Setup your account and group or label messages

Configuring the email accounts enables the user to only enter the email address and the password. The wizard automatically searches for the server configurations in the database and fills in the rest of the details if they are available which allows Gmail or Yahoo! users to add a new account in a matter of seconds.

The Gmail integration allows you to organize your messages with labels and to navigate through the messages by using native Gmail shortcuts. You can also use the conversation view in order to group the messages when you need to follow a certain discussion.

Browse attachments, subscribe to RSS feeds and filter news

With the email indexing feature the program helps you browse the email attachments and images related with the messages from a folder. You just need to switch to the attachments view, select the files and save them to your computer.

You can also use the application to subscribe to RSS feeds or to import your subscriptions from other programs such as Thunderbird. As the email messages, the news articles can be filtered by using advanced rules in order to display the items that you need to read.

A final assessment

In our tests, the program had little impact on the computer's performance even though it uses a significant part of the system memory.

Overall, Postbox is a useful email management tool which integrates multiple Gmail features and can be further improved by adding extensions. However, if you are not an exclusive Gmail user you are sure to find other solutions.

TAL-Sampler is not just a sample player.​

It's a full featured analog modeled synthesizer with a sampler ee as sound source, including a powerful modulation matrix and a high quality self-oscillating 24/12/6 dB low pass filter. Don't expect a 40GB piano sample library with samples for every velocity or something similar. The idea is to bring back the fun sampling was in the good old s with small samples, fast loading s and an intuitive work-flow to create your own sample presets without getting lost in the settings. It's possible to choose between different digital analog converters (DAC's) to get the vintage sound of different hardware samplers inside your DAW. We don't make cheap bit crushing or decimation on the output signal. We really down-sample the sample to the desired sampling frequency, then process the data depending on the chosen DAC and up-sample it to the desired pitch. Most DAC modes offer a LEVEL slider. This feature allows the user to reduce the volume of the recorded sample and decreases the sample quality. Load your favorite high quality sample and make it sound vintage and noisy. The 24dB low pass filter will like it!

The plug-in has four layers an can play four samples simultaneous. There is also a simple SFZ import for samples that imports the mapping and sample paths, but the plug-in also contains an easy to use mapping editor.

TAL-Sampler is available in the VST, Audio Unit and AAX plug-in format. You can load and play your own samples in every common sample format (*.wav, *.aiff, *.aif, *.mp3, *.ogg, *.flac). Import samples with drag & drop from finder or explorer. There is also an intuitive sample browser that helps to find samples fast.

Some nice additions like a vintage real- stretcher and the possibility to modulate or automate the sample loop positions.

VariCAD is 3D / 2D CAD software primarily intended for mechanical eeering design.​

The comprehensive CAD software enables designers to quickly create, evaluate, and modify their models. The software is sold as one "fully loaded" package, with all features and functions, for one very affordable price. VariCAD delivers an excellent performance-to-price ratio, making it one of the smartest choices on the market today. User Interface and System Environment

VariCAD's Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been designed to allow quick and intuitive 3D/2D orientation. It has been carefully tailored and tuned to reflect the thought process of a designer, so that ideas can be captured and communicated with a minimal number of steps. All commands were created with a focus on ease of use.

You can start by creating a 3D model and then use it to automatically create drawings files, or you can draw only in 2D. Designing in 3D is generally more "natural," in that it closely represents actual parts and assemblies. The 3D approach is usually more intuitive than 2D drafting. Models created in 3D are easily converted into conventional 2D documentation. VariCAD provides tools for 2D updates after changes of 3D models.

3D Modeling

VariCAD provides a library of basic 3D shapes (like a box, cylinder, cone, etc.), which are easily modified by editing their dimensions. Solids can be created also by profile rotation, extrusion, or lofting. More complex tools include rotation blending between two profiles, lofting between a circle and rectangle or between different profiles, and creation of helical surfaces.

Solids can be added or subtracted, thus fog Boolean trees representing real mechanical parts. Boolean operations have options of automatic trimming (so called selective Boolean operations). Predefined operations like drilling of holes, face milling or groove milling are also available. Edges can be rounded or chamfered. VariCAD provides a lot of possibilities of solid transformations or their editing. Also, you can easily edit Boolean trees - either selecting solid parts from 3D, or selecting them from a list displaying structure.

Parameters and Geometrical Constraints

Although you can comfortably transform solids or their parts, you can optionally define geometrical constraints. Once defined, constraints allow you "to stick" object at defined location. More exactly, you can remove degrees of freedom of constrained objects. If other objects are changed or transformed, constrained object changes its position automatically. For instance, if you constrain a groove to the end of a shaft and the shaft length is changed, the groove remains in constant distance from the end edge. Constraints can be defined among elements of a solid, among entire solids or within a 2D profile creating a solid (for instance, by extrusion).

Whenever you enter a dimension of solid, a distance in constraint or dimension in 2D profile used for solid creation, you can optionally use parameter or even a mathematical expression containing parameters. Chag parameter values, you can change shapes or locations of solids.

3D Assemblies and Groups

VariCAD also provides tools for assembly support. If the link between a part and assembly is defined, any changes made to the part file are reflected in the assembly file and vice-versa. Linked copies of solids can also be defined (so called identical solids). In such case, editing of one object causes update of all its identical copies. Solid groups can be defined as well, making selection and visibility changes simple, for multiple objects.

Crash Tests (Interferences)

One excellent feature of 3D modeling is component interference checking. VariCAD can check 3D assemblies for possible collisions (overlapping volume) between components.

Calculations

VariCAD can calculate 2D section area, surface area, volume, mass, center of gravity, and moment of inertia. Mechanical parts calculations are also included - for standard parts used every day by mechanical designers. There are calculations of tension and compression springs, pre-stressed bolted connections, pins and parallel keys, grooved shafts, bearings, beams under combined stress (bending and torsion), spur and bevel gearing geometry, and belt drives.

Surface Development (Sheet Metal Unbending)

VariCAD can also create developed (unbent) surfaces of 3D solids or sheet metal parts. The XY coordinates of developed surfaces can be saved into a text file for further processing. You can input bending coefficients in order to customize your calculations, to reflect material and technology.

Mechanical Part and Symbol Libraries VariCAD contains libraries of standard mechanical parts (ANSI, DIN), such as bolts, nuts, pins, plugs, cotters, gaskets, bearings, rolled and drawn shapes, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical symbols.

3D - 2D Export

3D models are easily converted into 2D drawings to produce conventional drafting documentation. You can create 2D views of one or more selected solids by defining the views in 3D. In addition, you can also export specified sections. VariCAD supports updates of a 2D drawing after changes in 3D.

2D Drawing and Editing

Drawing functions are optimized for easy use in eeering. Some handy features of 2D drawing include: automatic detection of objects and snap points, numerous snap modes, auxiliary construction lines, Ortho mode, rectangular grid, drawing layers, block creation, hatching with automatic border detection, advanced dimensioning, finish symbols, welding symbols, tolerance symbols, and many more. You can draw in millimeters or in inches.

BOM and Title Blocks

VariCAD provides tools for maintaining the data structure of the product. There are links between attributes of parts and content of title blocks. You can create a bill of material (BOM) from an assembly, or easily modify the database using commands like mass attribute changes, sorting of information, etc. Each part can contain attributes, like name, type of material or supplier. Such data can be used for material requisitions, creation of bills of materials (BOM), filling of title blocks, or other purposes.

The data structure of the product (BOM) can be exported into other systems or into a spreadsheet. A mask is used for BOM customization; you can modify it exactly according to your needs. Mask defines usage of solid or assembly attributes, working with title blocks, methods of data exports from BOM etc.

Compatibility

VariCAD can interchange files with other CAD systems. You can export STEP (3D), STL (3D), IGES (3D), DWG (2D), DXF (2D) files, and import STEP (3D), DWG (2D), DXF (2D). The files can be converted individually or in batch routines, thereby converting multiple files in one step.
