You set up your new computer and all imported files on your new hard disk have now a wrong "Date Created"? Or you copied all your vacation photos from your digital camera or your smartphone to your computer and you have discovered that the "Date Created" of all pictures is the date of copying?
For many applications it is important that the system displays the original creation and modification dates of the files. In particular what legal documents concerns, the original "Date Created" is of importance. Also when sorting your pictures, the original "Date Taken" is needed in order to document your reportage in the correct time sequence.
What Happened?
When copying files, Microsoft Windows takes the date of copying as the new file date "Created" and not the original creation date or date taken of files. Therefore, the "Date Created" can be more recent than the "Date Modified".
The Solution
File Date Corrector for Windows is able to correct simply and fast the system-provided file dates "Created" and "Modified", taking into account the correct time zone. For this purpose, File Date Corrector is extracting the necessary information from metadata and file information of various files such as pictures, video, audio, documents (Microsoft Office Documents as well as Open Document Formats like Open Office, Libre Office etc.) and PDFs in order to correct the file date "Created" and restore the original creation date / date taken.

HEEDS 2018.10 is packed with great enhancements that continue to streamline design space exploration through improved results, processing, and automated analysis tools. Improved usability and simplification of analysis set up will allow for all design project team members to easily deploy HEEDS.
It can be difficult to assess the process status when analyses are running with complex or parallel processes in HEEDS|MDO. The analyses' execution stages can now be easily visualized in a Gantt-like time scale view allowing investigation of execution conflicts and bottlenecks.
Software is often installed at different locations on different machines accessed by HEEDS|MDO, making it challenging to set up an analysis with the proper execution command that works on all systems. HEEDS 2018.10 is now equipped with a simple and powerful uniform interface that allows you to specify, for each compute resource, the right configuration properties to run your solvers on that particular system, time and again, without having to reconfigure to accommodate other systems.
There are design problems that require input variable equality constraints to be enforced, which can be cumbersome to formalize into an optimization problem statement. With this new feature, ensuring the design variables add-up to a specific value is now easier than ever.
With new major portals being added, such as FEMAP, Samcef, FloMASTER and FloTHERM, HEEDS continues to find new ways to help you leverage your software investments. HEEDS 2018.10 also is packed with improvements to existing portals to boost productivity.
The new version of HEEDS now fully supports parsing XML files for tagging. Use this feature to tag, auto-tag and multi-tag input and output parameters. Tagging with XML is easy to use and requires no prior XML knowledge.
We've seen our users manage a lot of external data sets. They are often willing to import them into HEEDS for post processing and optimization. Now we've made the experience much easier and straightforward by allowing the seamless import of external data sources into HEEDS with a single button push! You can also use this feature to plot data from multiple studies on the same plot.
HEEDS MDO provides automation, design exploration, and optimization tools that integrate into existing workflows as well as with the design and analysis tools currently in use. The software automatically explores a user's design space then identifies solutions that meet user-defined goals, such as reducing product cost while improving performance. - We've released an updated Profile View with enhanced capabilities.
- Edits made to vertical alignments in the model or Profile View do not cause model regeneration until the edits are committed. This feature overrides the default behavior in which every modification to road centerline geometry causes model regeneration.
- InfraWorks now supports importing eight distinct spiral types from Civil 3D.
- Enhanced roadside grading by adding a "Grading Limit" in the Stack panel for a selected grading zone, so that users can adjust limits for each roadside grading zone. See To set the roadside grading method.
- Delayed model regeneration for road design reduces the number of times a model regenerates by allowing the designer to delay regeneration until after edits to a roadway's horizontal and vertical alignment or components are complete.
- The Curve Properties Panel in profile view has always displayed geometric values of a selected vertical curve. Now, values such as K-value can be modified, and immediately reflected on the profile view from the Curve Properties panel.
- Improved spiral curve spiral support for InfraWorks to Civil 3D interoperability. In InfraWorks, users can only create roads with clothoid spiral types. However, if spiral types other than clothoid are imported into InfraWorks from Civil 3D, InfraWorks does maintain those spiral types when the centerline geometry is edited but the spiral types can not be changed. Previously, if the centerline geometry of a road from Civil 3D was edited in InfraWorks, all the spiral types in the road would have been converted to clothoid.
- The spiral type is now displayed in the Spiral In and Spiral Out sections of the Stack when a Spiral-Curve-Spiral is selected
- Starting with this release, all existing design roads will be automatically upgraded to component roads. Design road style tracks will be matched to components in the component road assembly.
- We've consolidated the road modeling tools with this release. Planning roads are for visualization of large networks and component roads are for preliminary engineering. When you bring component roads into Civil 3D for detailed design, you'll notice that the roads includes surfaces and subassemblies.
- Existing ground profiles shown in the Road Profile View are now based on imported terrains and imported assets, such as roads, coverages, etc.
- Drape the road's profile to the terrain from within the Profile View grid.
- Modify vertical curve length from the Curve Properties panel.
- Added the ability to manage multiple terrain surfaces in the Surface Layers panel. Sub surface layers are now supported. Stack order of subsurface layers can also be managed in the Surface Layers panel.
- Enhanced surface layer order adjustment by dragging and dropping. See Surface Layers.
- Display minor and major terrain contour lines in your model, and customize the style of the lines and associated elevation text labels.
