ScanTransfer is a clever software that enables you to transfer photos, videos and other files from your phone to your PC via Wi-Fi and without the need to install any app on your phone. Can transfer files from your Android or iPhone wirelessly
First things first, it is worth pointing out that the program supports handsets running either iOS or Android, but you need to pay attention to the requirements before initiating a transfer, otherwise nothing will happen.

Once you ensure your phone and computer are on the same network, you need to look into some options regarding the photo transfer process. To be more specific, you can specify whether you want to keep the original quality of your image or whether you want to compress them. Aside from that, you are asked to indicate the output location.

Only asks you to scan a QR code
Once you are done, you just need to scan the QR code the application prompts you with. If you are using an iPhone, the simplest way of doing that is using your camera.

At this point, you should be able to select the photos and videos you want to transfer either one by one or in bulk. There is no limit as to the number of files you can send from your phone to your computer, and in terms of security, you may want to know that the fact that your data is sent in the local area network ensures your privacy.

During our tests, ScanTransfer behaved flawlessly, and we encountered no issues whatsoever. Its characteristic ease of use and the quick response make it a user-friendly application anyone could benefit from when trying to send files from their mobile device to their PC. Hopefully, however, transferring data the other way around, from the PC, that is, will be possible in the future as well.

What's New in SketchUp Pro for Desktop?:

Welcome Panel (SketchUp Pro for Desktop + LayOut)
We've made some updates to our Files, Learn, and Licensing tabs to make it easier to manage projects and licenses. While we were at it, we added links to learning resources directly into SketchUp and LayOut.

Files tab:
When you launch SketchUp or LayOut, you'll see a Files panel where you can manage default templates and access new, recent and recovered files. To change to a different template when opening a new file, select the "New From Template" option in the File pulldown menu.

Learn tab:
We are introducing a new portal for training content, appropriately named, the SketchUp Campus. This is the hub for both beginner and advanced learning through video courses that will eventually cover the entire SketchUp family and many professional industry work flows.

Default Toolbar Changes
We've made some new updates to the toolbars in SketchUp Pro and LayOut. You'll notice a "My Account" icon in the top upper-right hand side of the screen. Here, you can access your licensing information, sign in and sign out.

Dashes
Solid lines don't always tell the full story. Sometimes you need a dash pattern to convey your design idea. Whether you need to demarcate a property boundary, identify what is proposed, or identify walls for demolition, adding a stipple might be your best solution.

Supported Dashes in SketchUp (imperial and metric equivalents
That's why we've incorporated dashed lines into SketchUp Pro 2019. These dashes are properties of Layers and can be controlled from the Layers panel. Even better, components on layers will inherit the dash pattern. In LayOut, your dashes will show in the viewport at any screen scale and in all render modes with the ability to edit the dash width and scale. When you're ready to export, SketchUp can convert your dashed pattern into a bunch of file formats: PDF, EPS (vector), images (raster), and DWG/DXF.

SketchUp Tape Measure Tool
Upgrades to the Tape Measure tool mean less time you'll spend opening up Entity Info or looking at the Measurements box. Now, you can get the length of edges, area of faces, and coordinates of midpoints and intersections straight from an inference tip.

Compatibility Mode for Windows 10
It is no longer necessary to run SketchUp in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode was employed for several SketchUp releases as a workaround for problems with older Intel HD 2000 and HD 3000 GPUs on Windows 10. These GPUs have been deprecated by Intel on Windows 10 and because this workaround introduced problems of its own, it has been removed. As a result SketchUp, LayOut, and Style Builder will no longer run with Intel HD 2000 and HD 3000 GPUs on Windows 10.

After completion of a scanning process, you can view the files that are capable of being restored. The preview function of O&O MediaRecovery supports most picture formats, including JPEG, BMP, and TIF. The fact that a preview is not available for some files does not rule out the chance for a successful and flawless restoration of those files. This function should not be seen as a way to judge the quality of a pending restoration, but rather as a means to make the file identification process easier.

Various search algorithms
O&O MediaRecovery combines the powerful search processes of the hugely successful data recovery products O&O DiskRecovery and O&O UnErase. These search algorithms apply different technologies to locate data in nearly all scenarios, and can be used together or individually. The algorithm from O&O UnErase is best suited for quick data rescue. The algorithm from O&O DiskRecovery scans every sector of a volume for recognized file signatures and it can reconstruct data from them even when the entire content directory of the volume has been deleted or overwritten.

Integrated Data images
Data images created by O&O DiskImage are also included in the data rescue processes. To prevent a data loss through defective hardware, a forensic image can be created using the separately available O&O DiskImage. This comprehensive image also saves the (assumed) free disk space so that a full data recovery can be carried out later without touching the original hardware.

Filter function
Search results are presented in a clear overview, thanks to filters which sort by size or time (creation/last modified/last accessed). The filters can also blend out empty directories or files for refined search results.
