Learn everything to do with boating safety and navigation. The course covers everything from types of buoys, life jackets, safety equipment, docking retrieving and launching your boat, pulling a trailer, boating emergencies and so much more. Whether you are a beginner or a pro on the water, being up-to-date and refreshed on boating safety knowledge will ensure you have an enjoyable time on the water. The course consists of engaging and enjoyable videos that make for an awesome learning experience. Our official course is taken on our driveaboatusa website by students who want to get their official state's boaters card/license in their respective states. However, the course on our site is state-specific and has minimum study times as well as quiz and exam score minimums to meet. We offer the safety course on Udemy for those who want to learn the safety topics without the restrictions involved with getting certified. This course consists of 5 chapters all with a five-question knowledge assessment. The course takes about 2h30 to complete. The course covers a wide range of safety topics that were deemed crucial for safe boating by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). You will gain the confidence to go boating and ensure the safety of those around you.

Teacher mindsets result in teacher expectations impacting student achievement. It is important that teachers understand the impact their beliefs, words and actions have on cultivating the learning disposition of students.Growth mindset impacts teacher expectations because teachers teach from the perspective of their mindset. A teacher cannot cultivate a growth mindset among students if they believe that certain students have fixed learning traits. Take music for example. The majority of music teachers subscribe to a theory that superior achievement in music is due to genetic endowment. If a teacher believes that some people are more talented than others, then how do they teach and interact with the others? When teachers have high expectations of a student, they invest more attention in them, relate more positively, wait longer for a student to answer a question, and provide extra mentoring and learning opportunities. Hence, achievement becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Houdini Advanced Particle Simulations

In this course we will take an alembic animation of an opening hand, and use it to generate particles. We will learn how to use the geometry to create different attributes and how to get our particles to use those attributes.

We will also learn how to make our particles stick to deforming geometry and how to make the particles transition from one type of movement to a different one. I will also go over how to set up some basic materials and render everything using Redshift, and then also cover how to composite everything inside Nuke.
And while this course assumes you have a working knowledge of Houdini, I will be explaining how different operations work, but also the logic behind why we do things in a certain way. So I hope you will enjoy this course and we can get started with the first lesson.

This is a course that was made, having "You" step into my world. Seeing and learning beginning drums from my perspective. With detailed information and breakdowns so you'll never get bored, or confused. The course is packed with PDF's and videos.
