Full Basic Functions
SILKYPIX allows you to make adjustments such as exposure (brightness), white balance (shading), tone (light and dark sharpness) while maintaining a high quality of image without deteriorating the image. In addition, anyone can easily perform high-quality adjustments because basic adjustments are arranged in order from the top of the control panel. Furthermore, fine tuning adjustments for each item can be minutely performed with the "Slider" control.
A Variety of Functions to Recreate the Photographer's Images
The Partial correction function is included to adjust saturation and brightness of specified areas. What is more, a variety of fine adjustment functions such as Fine color controller which can be used to adjust each specific color and Highlight controller which restores colors in highlighted parts as well as recover gradation are available.
Easy Editing with Tastes
SILKYPIX Pro has 10 types of maker tastes installed which can take on various shooting scenes in advance. Just by choosing a taste such as "Landscape" or "Portrait," you can make a finished photograph easily that fits your image. In addition, you can save your adjusted parameters as a taste. Parameters are very useful functions, and you can easily create pictures from the same image by applying them to other photographs.
Compliable with JPEG and TIFF
With "SILKYPIX RAW Bridge" available only on SILKYPIX Pro, JPEGs and TIFFs are expanded to 16 bits, so even JPEG and TIFF images can be adjusted to a high degree of image quality with less image degradation.

Meticulously sampled and expertly voiced, Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 provides every composer, pianist, and musician the opportunity to infuse their compositions, recordings, and performances with the breathtaking realism of this truly world-class grand piano. The recording philosophy employed in creating Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 was based on using a simple signal chain, the finest A/D converters, and exceptional microphone preamps. The result is some 1500 sample recordings, with 16 dynamic levels captured and preserved for every key.

Personal Touch
Even with all this painstaking attention to accuracy, Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 provides plenty of opportunities to customize the sound to match the project-or your taste. The four-band EQ allows the timbre of the sound to be easily refined. An improved limiter offers enhanced dynamic control. Even the level of the sustain pedal and hammer release elements that help define the character of the piano can be individually controlled. Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 also adds a new robust reverb section. The high-frequency damping and room size parameters can add just the right ambience to your performance.

Ensemble Extras
As the name implies, there is more to Eighty Eight Ensemble 2 than piano. Combination patches come in two flavors. Layered combinations, or Pads, add a second instrument that sounds along with the piano. These layered sounds include strings, synth pads, and choral pads. Split Combinations, or Combis, introduce a second sound-or even a third-played in a specified range of keys. Setting a lower split adds a bass sound-such as bass guitar-playing below the piano. Setting an upper split adds a solo accompaniment instrument playing above the piano. Solo sounds include flute, clarinet, acoustic guitar, etc. Combis can have both an upper and lower split. The zones, or range of keys where each instrument will play, can abut or overlap as you desire. The velocity response can be set to make the most of your keyboard and playing style.

Turn and Learn
In addition to the onscreen controls, Eighty Eight Ensemble features a brilliant MIDI Learn Mode. Simply adjusting a parameter and then touching an external MIDI control creates a link between the two. This intuitive MIDI mapping system allows Eighty Eight Ensemble to quickly integrate with your favorite MIDI hardware controller. In fact, Eighty Eight Ensemble can save and recall your MIDI Learn presets and use them with any patch, so you only need to create them once.

Finders, Keepers
Eighty Eight Ensemble features an integrated patch browser that makes it easy to store, sort, and find exactly the sound you are looking for. Patch attributes such as Class, Genre, Character-and of course, Name-allow your sounds to be stored in a musically meaningful way, as opposed to just indexed as numbers. Members of the Boston Pops and/or Boston Ballet Orchestras played all performances, with the same premium instruments they use for their actual concert galas and events. A combination of spot and ambient mic'ing capture every instrumental nuance, while preserving the refined acoustics and intimacy of the performance space itself.

State-of-the-Art Sampling Sessions
Under the expert guidance of SONiVOX musical sound connoisseur Jennifer Hruska, each sample session was faithfully recorded by Emmy award-winning engineers Antonio Oliart and RIAA award-winning engineer John Bono. The players were positioned using orchestrally-correct seating, and measures were even taken to compensate for the sound-absorption of any players absent on that particular day. In order to retain a realistic "organic" feel, we used absolutely minimal post-recording electronic processing. We used two B&K 4011 microphones to preserve the highly-desired front-of-hall sound (you know, the "good seats"), while superior-grade spot mics accurately captured each instrument's individual detail. Benchmark-caliber preamps fed Troisi Octal A/D convertors to complete an uncorrupted signal chain.

This collection includes the Dunumba, Kenkeni, and Sangban (all from Ewe tribe of Ghana), Gungon (from the Dagomba of Northern Ghana), and Macana Surdo (from Brazil). All are cylindrical, double headed drums, though they are otherwise built quite differently and create a variety of sound. They are typically used for foundation rhythms. Up to 4 velocity levels, with both open and closed (muted) hits.

Atsia Bells
An essential component in African percussion ensembles, these bells provide an important structure to the rhythms. Instruments include Iron Castenet, Kenken, and Toke, and the all important Gankoqui Bells. Gankogui is the foundation of the entire ensemble. Its voice provides the metronomic background around which most Anlo-Ewe music is structured. 5 separate Gankoqui bells have been included. Up to 4 velocities and both open and muted strikes, give a wide variety of timbres.

Atsia Floor DrumsHand Hit
This set of drums includes the Djembe (one of the most popular hand drums around the world in drum circles, rituals, and gatherings), Apentema, and three differenrt Kpanlogo drums - conga shaped drums covered with antelope skin. Both strong hand and weak hand hits have been sampled. Open and muted hits and open and muted slaps of up to four velocities, give you a wide range of percussive sounds to work with.

Atsia Floor Drums Hand & Stick Hit
This set of drums is played with both hands and sticks and includes the Atsimevu, Boba, and Sogo. The Atsimevu is the lead drum and most important performer in the Ewe ensemble. The function of the Atsimevu is to lead the rest of the group through a performance. The performer utilizes a variety of strokes to produce a rhythmic language communicating with the rest of the ensemble. The Sogo is the second most important drum in the ensemble next to the Atsimevu and is the largest of the supporting drums. The Boba is a large barrel shaped drum that produces a thunderous, booming bass sound for the ensemble. Up to 4 veloceties, with a wide variety of open and muted stick hits, slaps, stokes, and double hits give you a wide ranging percussive "vocabulary" with which to create your music.

Atsia Floor DrumsStick Hit
The floor drums in this set of instruments function in both lead and supporting roles. All are played with sticks. Instruments include: Kaganu, Kidi, Kloboto, Kpegisu, and Totodzi. Kpegisu is one of the oldest living oral traditions of West Africa, and is deeply expressive in its use of allegory and metaphor. Formerly a dance for those going off to war, Kpegisu is now performed on special occasions. The Kpegisu drum is named after this dance. Both strong hand and weak hand hits have been sampled. Open and muted hits plus side stick are included, with up to four velocities.

Atsia Frame Drums
The Gome and Tamalin are two unique frame drums from the Ashanti and Ga peoples of Ghana. The Gome is like a small table with a rectangular or square shaped skin table top. When placed on its side on the ground, the drummer sits on it, playing it with the hands and the heels of the feet, which press against the skin to change pitch. The Tamalin is square or rectangular shapedand is held with one hand in the middle of the cross-shaped frame and struck with the other hand. A wedge tuning system and goatskin head produce a high steady tone. Up to 4 velocities of center and edge hits, mutes, and slaps.

Atsia Shakers & Snaps
Shakers add color and texture to a percussion ensemble. These shakers are from Ghana and Brazil and include Afoxe, 4 different Axatse, 2 different Caxixi, Frogs Eggs, Ganza, Maracas, and Shekere. Finger Snaps are also included. Multiple velocities, single shakes, double shakes, and taps.

Using close microphone techniques at Wellspring Studios in Boston, this collection captures the most natural elements of a beautiful set of DW and Pearl Drumkits. Renowned studio engineer Coleman Rogers helped us sample this kit using his arsenal of great mics, pre-amps, and compressors. After 3 days and nights sampling every drum and every cymbal, using different sticks at different velocities, at different places on the drums.

Session Drums 1 features incredible drum realism. All stereo samples, all multi-velocity samples (each drum and cymbal has up to 4 separate samples from soft to loud). Even the hi-hats are multi-velocity. We also threw in some extra hi-hat "shank" samples for hard-hitting rock tunes. Everything is laid out in GM keymaps so you can swap these kits easily into your existing sequences.
