Retail Barcode is a lightweight cashier application that can help users keep track of products sales. The tool allows one to define customers, as well as to link product credit sales to individual clients. The utility is valuable for anyone that is in the business of managing small shops. Shops that do not stock items with barcodes can circumvent this issue by simply creating a customized store code (e.g. 1, 2, 3 and so on).

Retail Barcode features a highly intuitive interface that is streamlined for an improved user-experience. Navigation is performed exclusively through large and self-explanatory buttons (e.g. Products or Customers). The program features a host of built-in interface layout options, which can suit most needs. In order to record sales, one must first define products. This is performed manually, by inserting the product's barcode, name and price. Once this is performed, the program is ready to record regular sales.

All users have to do is to select the given item and specify the quantity of items sold. The utility then automatically computes total sales and stocks. Another method of operation is the Sell by Credit mode. This allows one to register product displacements that have not yet been paid for. Complementary to this method is the customer register. It allows store owners or cashiers to keep track of clients that purchase by credit. This module is a great method of keeping track of delayed transactions. Once a customer transfers the necessary sum, the balance is cleared. This means that all sales (by credit and by cash) can be processed with the same program. Sales totals for user-defined time intervals can also be generated.

Megaphone is a plugin that emulates an amplified bullhorn / PA loudspeaker. It features two loudspeaker emulations (Mode I and Mode II), feedback control (slapback echo), and a noise section. Megaphone can be used to make any audio source sound as if it's being played by a bullhorn.

Feedback
The feedback section is essentially a slapback effect. When using megaphones, the output of the loudspeaker can be captured again by the input microphone, introducing a delay/reflection and the usual feedback tones (those can be triggered with high gain sources and feedback amount higher than 50%).

Noise
The megaphone noises can be enabled by the Trigger button. There are two types of noise: Button and Burst. You can balance the mix between the two noises with the Source parameter. The button noise is the noise made by clicking on the megaphone button to enable its microphone. The burst is the typical background noise of the loudspeaker. If the envelope is enabled, the Burst noise will follow the transients of the input signal.

MiniBit is a 8-bit/chiptune style synthesizer that emulates the sound of 80s game consoles and retrocomputers. It features a main oscillator with 12 waveforms paired with a sub oscillator (a square wave pitched one octave below). The waveforms are not bandlimited and will produce aliasing. Furthermore, using the built-in bitcrusher, you can create even more noisy and retro sounds.

CLASSIC CONSOLES
miniBit was inspired by the sound of classic game consoles and retro computers of the 80s and 90s. Same of the waveforms were carefully created and edited with an Amiga 1200, while others were meticulously recreated from the sounds of the best classic games that we have collected over the years.

STEP SEQUENCER
miniBit features an 8 steps sequencer that can be used to automate several parameters: pitch, volume, cutoff, resonance, waveform, and downsampling. Sequencing the waveforms will generate sounds reminiscent of early trackers and wavetable synthesizers. Each track can also be randomized using the dice buttons on the right.

CUSTOM WAVEFORMS
The Custom Waveform Editor features 32 steps and 8 waveform slots per preset. You can draw your waveforms by clicking and dragging on the editor. You can also use the built-in examples as a starting point. Each preset has its own set of custom waveforms, if you want to use a custom wave with another preset you can use the Copy/Paste buttons, or you can disable the Update Custom Waves in the global settings.

Outer Space is a faithful emulation plugin of a famous vintage tape echo made in the early seventies. As the original unit, Outer Space features a tape echo section with three playback heads and a spring reverb tank.

We have modelled three different tape frequency responses and saturations, along with all the analog imperfections of tape recording/playback. We've also modelled the ballistic response of the delay rate (repeat rate) which can create eerie pitch shifts (due to the Doppler effect), one of the classic tape echo-based sound effects

Just like the original unit, with the Mode selector you can choose 12 different combinations of echo playback heads and reverb (4 Echo only, 7 Echo+Reverb, 1 Reverb only). We've modelled three different tape types. The original RT-1L, a more modern replacement, and an older worn out tape. Each tape will affect the sound in a subtle but different way, especially at higher feedback (Intensity) settings. WOW/Flutter will also change according to the selected tape, creating different amount of pitch and volume nonlinearities. Changing the speed of the repetitions (Repeat Rate) will also affect the tape frequency response.

Reels is a tape emulation plugin with built-in echo section and tape-stop effect. Based on an old Japanese portable tape recorder with a very distinct Lo-Fi analog sound, Reels emulates all the imperfections of consumer reel-to-reel recorders. We have modeled three different 1/4" tape frequency responses and saturations, along with all the analog imperfections of tape recording / playback. Reels will add a very rough retro analog sound to your mixes. If you are looking for a Hi-Fi mastering tape emulation, this is not the plugin for you!

Reels is based on a vintage Japanese reel to reel, ironically marked as High Fidelity, found in a distressed state at a local flea market. Most of these consumer tape recorders, also due to their age, produce has a very rough Lo-Fi analog sound. During recording or playback, the motor noise somehow bleeds in, along with the usual tape hiss, limiting the actual bandwidth available on the tape. Reels recreates all the imperfection of consumer reel-to-reel vintage recorders, including:

Harshness, harmonic distortion with loss of clarity (mid-range)
WOW/Flutter, pitch instabilities due to recording and playback issues
Ducking, random volume loss due to tape or rec/play head imperfections
Crosstalk, the leak between left and right channel in a stereo signal
Hiss, high-frequency noise caused by the magnetic particles in the tape
Motor, mid-frequency noise caused by the reels motor

Springs is a plugin which features a collection of vintage spring reverbs paired with an authentic Baxandall EQ emulation. Springs features emulations from 9 types of spring reverbs, ranging from a long 6-spring pipe to a tiny battery-powered single-spring unit. We have used a combination of convolution and modelling to recreate the vintage character of each reverb.

Spring reverbs were usually paired with tone stacks from guitar amplifiers. Springs features one of the most iconic and unique sounding tone stack equalizers: the Baxandall EQ. A classic Baxandall tone stack usually features just the bass and treble bands, but we have also added a Mid band (with control over the Q).

SPRING REVERBS
We have collected and emulated several spring reverbs. Each one with its own sound.

BAXANDALL EQ
The Baxandall EQ is a classic type of EQ, mostly found in guitar amps, and usually limited to just a single tone control or two bands (bass and treble). We have added a third band (mid with Q control) to shape the reverb sound further. One important characteristic of the Baxandall EQ is that the bands interact with each other. This may seem like an unwanted behavior, but it's one of the reasons why the Baxandall EQ curves are smooth and musical.

EDITOR
By clicking on the wrench tool button you can open the editor window. Springs uses a combination of convolution and modeling to recreate each spring reverb. With the editor you can edit the impulse response of the reverb directly. This can be useful to fine-tune the size/decay of the reverb, but can also be used to completely mangle the source (check the experimental presets).

BANDWIDTH
While with the Baxandall EQ you can shape the sound of the mix (dry+wet) or just the wet signal, with the Bandwidth control you can filter the input signal that goes into the spring emulation. Some springs have a boomy low end, some are too bright and boingy. By limiting the bandwidth of the signal you can dampen these characteristics.
