This course is designed to make the first steps in Python for complete Beginners very easy. Everything is explained. From installation to the first lines of Code until more complex concepts.

After we have successfully completed the first steps, we will leave easy toy examples and move to more complex real world projects. There is no better way to learn and master coding than with real and comprehensive projects!

Linux Shell Scripting

Introducing Shell Scripting. This first topic in the Linux shell scripting video series provides an overview to Linux shell scripting. The shell is a full programming language, complete with variables, control structures, and functions. The shell provides an interface to the Unix operating system. Learn how to achieve overall organizational balance of risk between observing required constraints and implementing change to get ahead of your competition

Technology is no longer the primary bottleneck in an organization's effort to move quickly. That bottleneck now often lies with the Security, and Risk and Compliance groups.

Compounding matters, in most large organizations, the people who are actually doing the work don't understand regulations; and the people who are responsible for reporting-both to comply with these regulations and on matters of security-don't understand how the work is being done. They, therefore, try to revert these orgs back to processes and procedures based on outdated technology.

And these traditional regulations, controls, and processes-devised decades ago to mitigate risk-are actually causing other negative results, such as:

Increased overhead for control implementation and validation
Increased time-to-market to new services and products
Decreased transparency and bad decisions when inappropriate controls are forced on people doing the work. The tendency is for people to sidestep the controls in the name of getting things done.

The trick, of course, is for an organization to find a balance between following the applicable law, reducing risk, and moving the organization forward by delivering products and services at a pace that's expected by its customers.

In this course, I'll further demonstrate the need for finding this balance, help you understand the language of Risk and Compliance, show you how sharing responsibility for the enforcement of these constraints can lead to better business outcomes, and explain how creating faster feedback on Risk and Compliance, Governance, and Measuring and Reporting can lead your organization to both agility and success.

Natural Language Processing with Real World Projects

You will learn how machine can be trained to make sense of language humans use to interact. You will come across many NLP algorithms that teach the computational models about Lexical processing, basic syntactic processing. You will learn the mechanism Google translator uses, to understand the context of language and converts to a different language. You will build a chat-bot using an open-source tool Rasa, which is a text and voice-based conversations, understand messages, hold conversations, and connect to messaging channels and APIs. You will also learn to train the model you have created on NLU.

The machine cannot be trained to understand or process data by traditional hand coded programs that rely heavily on very specific conditions. The moment there is a change in input, the hand coded program is rendered useless. So, rather than having to code possible conversations, we require a model that enables the system to make sense of context. By the end of the course you will be able to build NLP models that can summarize blocks of text to extract most important ideas, sentiment analysis to extract the sentiments from given block of text, identification of type entity extracted. All the projects included in this course are Real-World projects.

There are several frameworks which aim to enable large organizations to implement the ideas and principles of the agile manifesto. However the results often fail to create transformative change. In this course, I'll describe the common issues that arise when trying to implement agile at scale, discuss how to run large programs in an agile way, provide a case study of such an implementation, and show how worker-led continuous improvement is at the heart of an effective agile adoption.

In Unit 1, I highlight the problems large organizations often face in trying to implement Agile at scale, including the often-fatal errors of managing cost instead of creating value, combining high-value and low-value features into a single large project, and wasting the creative power of our people by developing only to executive-driven requirements created at program inception.

In Unit 2, We take a look at the five principles of high-performance program management, with emphases on collaborating to set measurable desired program outcomes, creating a culture of experimentation, and developing software in small batches-enabling faster feedback loops and a means through which teams can constantly validate their approaches to meeting desired program outcomes.

In Unit 3, I present a case study that demonstrates how the ideas presented in this course can be implemented in practice.

In Unit 4, I discuss how the case study team from Unit 3 independently invented the concept of Continuous Delivery, and we'll look at a problem-solving method called the Improvement Kata, a systematic, scientific method for problem-solving that can be used both to implement continuous improvement and in software feature development.

The Principles of High Performance Program Management apply to all organizations trying to develop in an agile manner, and this course is ideal for rank-and-file developers and their managers alike.

Transforming organizations, teams, or even yourself is challenging. There's no one-size fits all method to achieve success. It's a combination of hard work, persistence and patience. That said, the most successful enterprises are continually experimenting to learn what works and what doesn't. They focus on meeting customer needs by clarifying goals, shortening feedback loops and measuring performance based on outcomes, rather than outputs. To become a high performance organization, you must develop the capability to continually adapt, adjust, and innovate. This requires a deliberate practice of experimentation and learning. In this module, I distill a set of practical strategies and principles to help businesses on their journey to become high performance organizations.

In Unit 1, I'll introduce you to the Improvement Kata, a scientific and systematic approach to problem-solving first developed by Toyota. The Kata is divided into two parts: the Planning Phase, where we apply critical thinking to our problem-solving effort; and the Execution Phase, where we evaluate the solutions or experiments we've designed during the critical thinking phase that we hope will solve our problem.

In Unit 2, I'll talk about leading a transformation effort. The key here is that Transformation is a top-down effort: Leadership cannot simply mandate that others change what they're thinking or doing, they must personify the change they wish to see. And organizational change must become a habit, not an event (or worse, a series of isolated events.) We do this by changing our systems of work, and I'll talk about that in detail in this unit.

In Unit 3, I discuss running and scaling transformation initiatives, and how-as a leader-you can start to coordinate and organize the transformation initiative and all its components. I'll introduce the Hoshin planning process, which looks at what it is we're trying to do, where we're trying to address it, and how we're going to get there.

And in Unit 4, I'll explain my Ten Principles for Business Transformation, a set of rules based on our own experience in guiding large organizations through the process of transformation.

To succeed, people must feel empowered to try out new ideas and make decisions that involve risk, while recognizing their responsibilities to customers and ensuring that they maintain alignment with the overall organizational strategy. Leaders need to set context and limitations for everyone, while ensuring that the latter is not unduly restrictive. When everyone is united in pursuit of a common purpose, and we have empathy with our customers and their needs, true transformation is within your organization's reach.
