Duplicate & Same Files Searcher (Duplicate Searcher) is an application for searching duplicate files (clones) and NTFS hard links to the same file. It searches duplicate file contents regardless of file name (true byte-to-byte comparison is used). This application allows not only to delete duplicate files or to move them to another location, but to replace duplicates with NTFS hard links as well (unique!).

This application was developed because I haven't find any similar application which allows to operate NTFS-links.

Access Novell, NTFS and Linux drives or images from any Windows Computer
Widely used by law enforcement personnel, forensic investigators as well as network administrators. Captain Nemo enables you to access any Novell, NTFS or Linux drive from your Windows computer without requiring a network setup.

Just connect the drive to your machine and Captain Nemo will automatically mount your Netware, NTFS or Linux partitions in Windows. You can read, search and view all your Novell/NT/Linux files and copy them to your Windows drive.

Mount images you previously created with another software, such as DD, RAID Reconstructor or GetDataBack. Captain Nemo can mount any raw image of a disk that was formatted with NTFS, Novell or Linux. Captain Nemo accepts raw images (.img), compressed raw images (.imc) and virtual images (.vim).

While Captain Nemo is not a data recovery tools in a strict sense, you can often use the Captain to mount an image or virtual image that you created with RAID Reconstructor. Once a RAID is reconstructed its file system is usually in good enough shape to be simply mounted in Captain Nemo, saving you many hours recovering your files.

Captain Nemo does not require the installation of any Netware, NTFS or Linux drivers, programs or files!
The foreign file system will be mounted automatically and you can copy files from it to the Windows partition.
Captain Nemo looks like and is as easy to use as the Windows Explorer, but allows you to access all the data on the Novell, NTFS or Linux drive.

Even if you do not know the RAID parameters, such as start sector, drive order, block size and direction of rotation, RAID Reconstructor will analyze your drives and determine the correct values. You will then be able to create a copy of the reconstructed RAID in a virtual image (.vim), an image file (.img) or on a physical drive.
Unlike other products that require you to know the RAID parameters, RAID Reconstructor is not only a "destriper" but an "analyzer" as well. It finds the unknown parameters for you.
Once you created an image you can either mount it with Captain Nemo or use it for further data recovery processing with Runtime's GetDataBack. If you create the image on another physical drive, you can process it with Captain Nemo or GetDataBack too or you might even be able to directly boot from it.

MFT report. Investigate disk areas around the MFT
File system report. Find file system structures for NTFS, EXT, XFS
XOR test. See if your set is xor-ed.
Create an XOR.VIM from the existing drives in order to investigate a missing drive.
RAID calculator. Convert a global sector number to a local drive and sector number, and back. Show mapping charts about the relation between the global RAID space and the individual RAID member drives. Supports RAID-0, RAID-5, RAID-6, delayed RAID-5 (HP-SmartArray).
