WordWeb Pro can look up words in virtually any program with just one click: just hold down the Ctrl key and right-click on the word. If you are online, with one extra click you can also search web references, for example Wikipedia. The hotkey can be customized, or you can use a keyboard shortcut if you prefer.

If you are editing a document you can select a synonym and replace the look-up word. WordWeb has the option to highlight widely used synonyms, great for helping you write clear easy-to-understand English.

Exploring senses
If you are looking for a particular part of speech you can click on the Noun, Verb, Adjective or Adverb buttons to show only the relevant synonyms and related words. To look at a particular sense you can click on the sense number.

Browsing around related words is simple: click on the tabs for synonyms, antonyms, parts, part of, types, type of, similar, see also, and anagrams. To see the definition for one of the related words double-click on the word. You can also use the back and forward buttons. Related words also have "+" and "-" buttons to be more or less specific. For example if you look at the similar words, maybe you'd like to see words that are more loosely similar: you can do this by pressing the "+" button, and go back again by pressing the "-" button.

Web references
In addition to using the comprehensive English dictionary and thesaurus supplied, if you are online you can also search your choice of web references. Each reference is on a separate tabbed page for easy cross-referencing. The list of tabs can be customized to use your favorite references. Wikipedia and some online dictionaries are installed by default.

Use custom glossaries
You can add your own technical glossaries (or list of company acronyms, etc) using the option on the "Glossaries" menu.

Find words
Using the "Find Word" feature you can quickly find words matching a pattern. You can also search a wide range of optional extra word lists using the Find Word window. The screenshot shows what you'd get if you did a punctuation sensitive search in the optional "Compounds and Phrases" word list for phrases ending in "word".

Full-text definition search
Use the "full text" button to search for text appearing in any definition. For example search for "female fox" and it will find the definition of "vixen". The screenshot shows another example.

Anagrams
Enter a word and you can find all straight and multiple word anagrams. You can also find partial anagrams. How many words can you make using the letters in "constitutional"? WordWeb Pro's answer: 726!

Add definitions
Select "New Definition" from the "Edit" menu to add a new word (or set of words) with definition. You can also import and export to common spreadsheet-format files.

Learn vocabulary
Use the bookmark feature to remember useful words. There's a feature to randomly look one up as a way of helping you remember vocabulary. WordWeb also builds a list words you've looked up, so you can go back and check you remember definitions. You can also export the list to a text editor, delete items, or delete the entire history list.

Replace, copy and paste
If you are looking up a word from a document you are editing, you can select any word and press the "Replace" button to substitute a synonym. You can also copy to the clipboard parts of definitions, all of the definitions, the selected related word, or all of the listed related words (or anagrams/words matching a pattern).

Proper Nouns
Includes many names of places and people, with a concise definitions and related words.

Deconstructed Piano: the name explains itself. We have disassembled a piano to its soundboard and have worked on this in many different ways: we have played, hit, stroke and destructed the piano with a wide range of materials. We have used a regular piano hammer, different kinds of mallets such as a felt or a wollen ones, screws, plecs, sticks, thumbs and even straws to coax new inspirational harmonic sounds from the instrument.

The instrument comes with three completely different patches:
- The Piano
- Strikes
- Textures

The piano patch is the basic instrument. It delivers three different sound categories with eleven piano sounds in total. By dragging, you can control the volume of each sound. It gives you the possibility to combine and create your own instrument setting. Besides an attack and decay slider, the instrument provides a button that randomizes the volume of each of the 11 sounds which results into new sound combinations. The patch also includes an FX section in which you are able to choose reverb, delay, distortion and an EQ.

Did you ever imagine to destroy a Piano? We actually did it.
Explore the sound of a sledgehammer bursting on the piano, a crowbar trying to rip of the strings and even more. All these sounds and noises were sampled to create huge impacts.

Finally we have collected plenty of soundscapes. This patch is a very useful tool to create evoloving textures with tension. Beside the above mentioned sound options of EQ, reverb, attack, decay, distortuion, this patch provides and automatic volume variation with speed control as well as an „hold" button for an infnite sound.

Most organizations are already gathering and analyzing big data or plan to do so in the near future. One common way to process huge datasets is to use Apache Hadoop or Spark. Google even has a managed service for hosting Hadoop and Spark. It's called Cloud Dataproc. So why do they also offer a competing service called Cloud Dataflow? Well, Google probably has more experience processing big data than any other organization on the planet and now they're making their data processing software available to their customers. Not only that, but they've also open-sourced the software as Apache Beam.

Cloud Dataflow is a serverless data processing service that runs jobs written using the Apache Beam libraries. When you run a job on Cloud Dataflow, it spins up a cluster of virtual machines, distributes the tasks in your job to the VMs, and dynamically scales the cluster based on how the job is performing. It may even change the order of operations in your processing pipeline to optimize your job.

In this course, you will learn how to write data processing programs using Apache Beam and then run them using Cloud Dataflow. You will also learn how to run both batch and streaming jobs.

This is a hands-on course where you can follow along with the demos using your own Google Cloud account or a trial account.

REAPER is a powerful but sensible Windows application that lets you record, arrange, edit, and render multi-track waveform audio. It provides an extensive set of features, but is a very small and lightweight application (the installer is less than 1 megabyte, and includes many effects and a sample project). REAPER supports ASIO, Kernel Streaming, WaveOut, and DirectSound for playback and recording. It reads WAV, OGG, and MP3 files, and records WAV files.

You can arrange any number of items in any number of tracks and use audio processing plug-ins (DirectX and Jesusonic). REAPER also supports volume, pan controls and envelopes per track, multi-layer undo/redo, and user creatable color themes.
