Application Wizard provides fast access to anything on your Mac: applications, documents, folders, disks, contacts, photos, music, and movies.

With Application Wizard you can:

quickly open favorite applications and groups of applications;
open recent applications, applications in your Applications folder, and System Preferences panes;
run AppleScripts;
quit multiple or all applications at the same time;
quit background processes and the Finder;
force applications to quit;
switch between applications;
bring specific windows to the front when making applications active;
show and hide groups of applications;
turn on single application mode;
disable window restoration for specific applications;
mark 32-bit applications and applications opened using Rosetta.

In addition to that, Application Wizard lets you:

eject disks and servers and mount ejected disks;
browse volumes and favorite folders to quickly open enclosed items;
easily access recent folders, documents, and servers;
browse your iPhoto or Aperture library;
quickly look up your contacts;
check system memory usage;
view information about files and open them with specific applications;
preview images, music, movies, and documents;
display pictures and PDF files as slideshows;
easily view the metadata associated with images, songs, movies, and PDF files;
define keyboard shortcuts to quickly accomplish frequent tasks.

Application Wizard runs in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Italian.

System requirements

Application Wizard requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later (including Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite) and runs on Intel-based Macs.

The incompatibilities with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite have been fixed.
On Yosemite, the menu panel and the Application Wizard buttons in the menu bar have a new appearance.
On Yosemite, the menu panel has now a dark background when Dark Mode is turned on.
Icons in the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus have been revised.
Multiple selected applications in the Open and Quit menus are now marked with blue and red dots, respectively.
The green dots marking linked applications in the Switch menu and the arrows marking resolved aliases in the Special menu have been redesigned.
The appearance of the Contacts/Address Book submenu has been revised. In addition to that, on Mac OS X 10.9 or later, new social network profiles (Tencent Weibo and Yelp) are now supported.
Slideshows of PDF files have been revised and improved on Mac OS X 10.9 or later.
Alias resolution in the Special menu has been revised and some incompatibilities with Mac OS X 10.8 or later have been fixed.
On Yosemite, sharing services are no longer available to 32-bit applications. For this reason, Application Wizard no longer supports sharing files and folders, adding photos to Aperture, and setting desktop pictures when running on Mac OS X 10.10.
Some minor bugs have been fixed and some other minor interface improvements have been introduced.
