GRAPHISOFT announced ArchiCAD 18, a new version of its flagship product, is a leader in the field of architectural design based on building information modeling (BIM). Innovative solutions implemented in ArchiCAD 18, are designed to significantly smooth the process of BIM-design. The newest rendering engine CineRender, allowing you to create photorealistic visualizations of the highest quality, and previously only available in the application CINEMA 4D, designed for professional visualization, is now available directly in the tool BIM-design.

Whats new in version:
ArchiCAD 18 5100 Update
This Update eliminates two Teamwork problems introduced with Update 5014, includes important improvements since the original release of ArchiCAD 18 (Build 3006) and solves several MAC OS X 10.10 Yosemite related problems.
- applies to ArchiCAD, BIM Server and all other components: BIMx, MEP Modeler and all GRAPHISOFT-distributed Add-Ons and Goodies.
- applies to all (Commercial, Educational and Trial) license types.

The installation procedure:
Setting
Before upgrading, make sure that you have installed ArchiCAD 18 (Build 3006)

1. Mount ArchiCAD-18-Update-5100, start the installation and follow the instructions
2. After installing the update, replace the files.

Recommended operating systems:
- Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks
- Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Recommended hardware
- 64-bit processor with 4 cores or more (eg, Intel Core i5 / i7)
- 8 GB of RAM or more (for work with complex models may require 16 GB or more)
- 5 GB free disk space for installation (additional 10GB required for each project)
- We recommend the use of graphics cards that support OpenGL 2.0 volume of 1024 MB or more

- Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is supported, but not tested
- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is not supported (install ArchiCAD impossible)

Minimum hardware
- 64-bit processor with 2 cores
- 4 GB of RAM
- 5 GB free disk space for installation
- graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.0
- Monitor that supports a resolution of 1024 768
