Gibbs and Associates, developer of GibbsCAM software for programming CNC machine tools and a Cimatron company, announced that it has released the newest version of GibbsCAM NC programming software, GibbsCAM 2014 10.7. Among the new features: updated 5axis engine, updated VoluMill engine and automatic feature recognition for users who are running Autodesk Inventor together with GibbsCAM 10.7.


GibbsCAM CAD/CAM software is a state-of-the art, PC-based CAM system for programming CNC machine tools. GibbsCAM software provides a powerful range of CNC programming functionality including Solid Modeling, 2-5 Axis Milling, High Speed Machining, Mill/Turn, Swiss, Wire-EDM, Multi-Task Machining, and more. GibbsCAM is organized as a single application. The base package's capabilities can be optionally extended through the addition of seamlessly integrated modules. This way the system can be configured for your initial needs and be gradually expanded as your needs grow, protecting your investment. GibbsCAM's graphical user interface was designed for machinists by machinists, resulting in a user environment that is both familiar and efficient. This manufacturing orientation ensures that GibbsCAM's powerful functionality is also extremely easy to learn and use.
