UniGetUI makes for an efficient way to quickly install numerous programs on your system, and having a GUI makes that process a whole lot easier for all types of users. As far as user interfaces go, this one is decidedly modern and easy to navigate, so it is quite a successful implementation.
Upon first boot-up, you'll have the ability to choose your preferred package managers. Winget and Chocolatey are automatically selected, but you can also enable Scoop, which is a package manager that contains utilities that serve a more experienced user base.
After all of that, it's time to look through the software catalog. To say it's generous would be underselling it: over 10.000 software packages are available across all three package managers, so feel free to look up the programs you need.
After you've chosen your software, it's time to get to installing. You can choose to have the program handle the installation for you, or you can do it manually via the Interactive Installation option. You're also free to skip the hash check for a faster downloading process.

Before you can use the application, first you need to open the tools.ini file and add the programs to be monitored and updated. Take note that the configuration file is kind of empty, as the developer only included a few examples, so you get an idea about how to add your programs.
Adding new utilities is not overly complicated as you only need to specify a few things, starting with the name of the app. You need to list the local folder where the app is installed as well as the URL where the app should monitor for updates.
The program supports regular expressions, but they are not mandatory. To make sure things work smooth, you can include two regexes to help the updater extract the version number and the download link from the web page. There are a few more values that can be added and you can check them out on the app's home page.
Depending on how many apps you update on a regular basis, you can consider running Universal Tool Updater as a scheduled task. The program doesn't include this function, but you can easily add it to the Task Manager in Windows.

WindowManager helps you to improve your work flow by remembering and restoring the position and size of your programs and windows. Many programs don't remember their position and size between sessions and even Windows Explorer does not restore windows to their last position under Windows 7 or higher.

This is where WindowManager steps in and makes sure your windows are placed exactly where you want them every time you open them. WindowManager even allows you to lock the position and size of any window, so that it will always open at the same spot no matter where you move it. The window handling is fully customizable and you can set up special rules for your favorite or most frequently used windows.

You can also make WindowManager send keystrokes or mouse-clicks to a program when its window is opened, run additional programs and other advanced actions. With WindowManager, you can also minimize most windows to the system tray.
