Outcome: Everyone will be caught up to the most advanced AI knowledge, regardless of where they started! This gets everyone on an equal playing field before the deep learning sessions begin.
Week 2: Introduction to Prompting (Fundamentals)
Why this is important: Effective prompting is the gateway to getting valuable outputs from AI. Poor prompting leads to poor results, while skilled prompting can unlock incredible productivity gains.
What they will learn:
- Basic components of effective prompts
- Intro to prompt cowboy
- Best prompting hacks
- How to reverse engineer successful prompts
Learning Activity/Game:
- “Say what you see” exercise
- Custom GPT exercise that goes through a prompt, and users have to explain how to make it better
- Writing specific types of prompts covered in the exercise
- “Prompt Battle: AI vs Human” competition
Outcome: You’ll know how to write prompts that actually work and get the AI to give you exactly what you’re looking for every time!
Week 3: Advanced Prompting Techniques
Why this is important: Moving beyond basic prompting to sophisticated techniques that can handle complex business scenarios and specialized use cases.
What they will learn:
- How to build a prompt library
- Prompting for image generation
- Prompting for deep research
- Prompting for Google AI Studio
Learning Activity/Game:
- Build your own prompt cowboy
- Gandalf challenge
Outcome: You’ll have your own personal collection of proven prompts and know how to create prompts for images, research, and advanced AI tools!
Week 4: Context Libraries & Knowledge Databases
Why this is important: AI is only as good as the information you provide it. Learning to create and maintain knowledge databases transforms AI from a general assistant to a specialized expert in your domain.
What they will learn:
- What is in-context learning and why it matters
- How to create structured knowledge databases
- Techniques for turning messy information into useful context libraries
- Best practices for organizing and maintaining AI knowledge bases
Learning Activity/Game:
- “Knowledge Builder Challenge” – Teams compete to create the most useful context library for a specific business scenario
- Hands-on workshop building personal knowledge databases
Outcome: You’ll have your own smart AI assistant that knows everything about your specific work and industry, making every conversation way more helpful!
Week 5: AI Tools Mastery
Why this is important: Knowing which tools to use and how to use them effectively can dramatically increase productivity. Each tool has unique strengths and optimal use cases.
What they will learn:
- Deep dive into Poppy AI – creating a board together, showcasing boards we have built
- Overview of Icon.me – demo and where the AI ad creation space is going
- Introduce Parker – a Slack agent that has access to any research (customer reviews, Reddit, organic TikTok, etc.)
- Reddit answers – use AI to see what people are talking about on Reddit in your industry and the best prompts for that
Learning Activity/Game:
- Poppy competition – whoever creates the best Poppy Board by next week gets $500!
Outcome: You’ll be a master of the coolest AI tools for creative work and research, plus you’ll have your own amazing Poppy board to show off!
Week 6: Introduction to AI Workflows
Why this is important: Individual AI tools are powerful, but connecting them into workflows creates exponential value. Understanding workflow design is key to scaling AI impact across an organization.
What they will learn:
- Gumloop overview and use cases
- Triple Whale overview and applications
- Motion workflows and how you can submit Motion agent ideas to us!
- Workflow design principles and best practices
Learning Activity/Game:
- Building a simple Gumloop workflow together
Outcome: You will now know all the different AI workflow builders, how to begin building AI workflows, how to think of good workflows to build, and even have your first workflow built!!
Week 7: Building Advanced AI Workflows
Why this is important: This is where theory meets practice. Building sophisticated workflows that solve real business problems demonstrates mastery and creates immediate value.
What they will learn:
- Advanced workflow design patterns
- Error handling and optimization techniques
- Integration strategies for existing business systems
- Workflow maintenance and scaling considerations

- Gumloop hackathon – whoever can build the best workflow gets $500 – this will be a longer session (2 hours!)
Outcome: You’ll be able to build complex AI workflows that can automate almost anything you can think of, plus you’ll have multiple working examples to be proud of!
Week 8: Implementation & Change Management
Why this is important: Technical skills are only valuable if they can be successfully implemented within an organization. This week focuses on becoming an effective AI change agent and creating sustainable adoption.

- How to implement AI solutions within existing organizational structures
- Strategies for overcoming resistance and building buy-in
- Monetizing AI workflows and demonstrating ROI
