Tim will then teach you the basic creation and editing tools, then move on to showing you how to start a structural project. This video tutorial will also cover how to work with views, set up levels and grids, and add columns and walls to your model. You will learn how to add a foundation, create structural reinforcement, and place beams and framing. Tim will also teach you how to create floor systems and shaft openings, add detailing, and use Worksharing. Finally, you will learn how to export images and create a walkthrough for presentations.

LaunchBox is a gaming frontend originally built for DOS. However, now LaunchBox supports a slew of emulators and PC games for an all-in-one multimedia solution. Whereas the likes of RetroPie, Batocera, Lakka, and Recalbox feature emulators built-in, LaunchBox doesn't. As such, you'll need to add your own. The difference in LaunchBox vs Retroarch is that Retroarch provides emulators, while LaunchBox offers a pretty user-interface. Thus, LaunchBox is used in conjunction with Retroarch.
I've used a ton of different standalone retro gaming operating systems, emulators, and frontends. But LaunchBox is by far my favorite. It's incredibly simple to set up and boasts an automatic scraper for downloading game metadata and box art. Scraping games with LaunchBox is pretty accurate. Unfortunately, it's Windows-only for PCs and desktops. There's no LaunchBox macOS or LaunchBox Ubuntu installer. However, LaunchBox Android debuted for gaming on phones or Android TV boxes such as the Nvidia Shield TV.

FEM Algorithm: Satisfies More Types of EM Simulation
Except for optimizing the original EIT algorithm, FEM (Finite Element Method) is added in this version. It is a frequency-domain algorithm based on tetrahedral meshes, which can adapt to the irregular surfaces of 3D objects. Therefore, it is able to simulate high-precision geometries, that are, electrically small and fine structures, like high-frequency array antennas, helical antennas, coaxial connectors, high-speed connectors, etc., broadening the application range and satisfying more EM simulation needs.
Pre-processing: Get Full Ready for Simulation
For pre-processing, series or parallel Lumped Elements (RLC), including resistance (R), capacitor (C) and inductance (L) can be loaded. Field Monitors can be set for EM field and far-field that need the calculation of frequency points or bands before simulation, which can reduce the amount of calculation and thus accelerate simulation.
Material Library has been updated with more common and dispersion materials. You can also customize materials and import third-party material libraries. Model Library is also available with customizable parametric models, which can be used directly anytime.
For mesh generation, you can increase the density of critical points, for example, designate them as you need and let lines of meshes pass through to control mesh generation. What's more, the quality of Yee hexahedral meshes can be checked, so that the mesh quality can be further guaranteed.
Post-processing: Friendlier for Viewing, Capturing and Adjusting
Post-processing becomes more user-friendly now. For example, the generated simulation results can be processed again according to the input mathematical expressions. With Feature Tracking, the characteristics of results such as maximum and minimum values, bandwidth, etc. can be quickly captured, enabling you to obtain key data more efficiently.
Fast Iteration and Firm Determination in CAE
This year, from V1.1 to V2.0, the R&D team of ZWSim-EM tackled 49 core technologies concerning solving, pre- and post-processing, and brought forth the ZWSim-EM 2022 you see today. MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH OBERHEIM
We first worked with Tom Oberheim and Marcus Ryle (an inspirational Oberheim engineer during the 80s) when creating the GForce Oberheim OB-E® v2. During this time, Tom and Marcus revealed that they felt there were no software emulations of the SEM that accurately recreated the sound and the ethos of the original monophonic SEM. We decided to change that, and under the close guidance of Tom and Marcus, we've developed the GForce Oberheim SEM to ensure an experience that is truly authentic to the original instrument.
