Your new AI partner
Just as audio engineers focus on separating increasingly fine details in sound, the new AI in SpectraLayers Pro 7 uses algorithms to learn from the data flowing through its built-in neural network. In the same way that these algorithms can now accurately determine how to apply color to a black and white photograph, the AI in SpectraLayers Pro can sense discrete events in a sound field and isolate them on independent, colorful layers for processing. AI is changing faster than its history can be written - be at the leading edge with SpectraLayers Pro 7.

Unmix - Tracks to stems
This AI-assisted process in SpectraLayers Pro scans the finished file of a song, allowing you to "unmix" it and extract the different instruments to separate layers, with default settings for vocals, piano, bass, drums, and more. (SpectraLayers Elements allows extraction of vocals only.)

Unmix - Components
Unmix stems into tone, noise and transient component layers. Reconstruct missing noise hidden by tones and transients. Comprehensive learning algorithms clear the path to clean extraction.

Pattern finder
Significant advances in pattern recognition are a hallmark of today's rapidly evolving AI technology. SpectraLayers Pro 7 allows you to select a target sound and then trigger a search to automatically locate and select every other similar sound in the spectrum.

Voice Denoiser
Perfect for cleaning up location interview recordings, the Voice Denoiser algorithm is trained to recognize and isolate the human voice. You can automatically attenuate everything but the voice for maximum intelligibility.

De-esser
Spectral de-essing is the most precise and least invasive way to tame and shape vocal sibilants. Manual de-essing in SpectraLayers Pro has always been quick and easy. Now, the new automatic de-essing feature makes it even easier. Manual or automatic - either approach is far more accurate than typical waveform-based plug-in processing.

WHAT'S NEW
•In ARA mode it is now possible to apply changes to a clip that doesn't start at zero on the DAW timeline.
•Closing dialogs within Cubase no longer renders the ARA component randomly unresponsive (macOS only).
•Undoing the creation of a new layer in ARA mode no longer results in no layer being active.
•Undoing the creation of a new layer while a group is selected and the transform tool is active no longer renders the application unreliable.
•Loading or closing VST 3 plug-ins no longer renders the application unreliable.
•VST 3 plug-ins are no longer displayed incorrectly.
•The Preserve Formant option in the Transform tool no longer causes severe audio artifacts.
•A meaningful error message appears if you install SpectraLayers 7 while the eLicenser Control •Center is open in the background.
•Some processes, such as Heal and Unmix Stems, no longer render the application unreliable (older macOS systems with CPUs without AVX support).
•Loading a project in Cubase or Nuendo where SpectraLayers 6 was loaded as an ARA extension no longer renders the application unreliable.
•A warning message will appear when running out of disk space.
•Failure of loading some VST 3 plug-ins no longer renders the application unreliable.
•Opening a plug-in after closing another will no longer inherit the parameter changes from the first one which could render the application unreliable.
•Closing the dialogs of some VST 3 plug-ins no longer renders the application unreliable.
•Applying or cancelling the Imprint process when only one layer exists in the project no longer renders the application unreliable.
•Application no longer freezes during processing or loading of files after just a few progress bars have been shown (macOs only).
•The Transport function in the Edit menu now works as expected.
