The MDK Tools include all the components that you need to create, build, and debug an embedded application for ARM based microcontroller devices. MDK-Core consists of the genuine Keil µVision IDE and debugger with leading support for Cortex-M processor-based microcontroller devices including the new ARMv8-M architecture. ARM Compiler version 6 is based on the innovative LLVM technology and supports the latest C language standards including C++11 and C++14. It offers the smallest size and highest performance for Cortex-M targets.

Software packs contain device support, CMSIS libraries, middleware, board support, code templates, and example projects. They may be added any time to MDK-Core or DS-MDK, making new device support and middleware updates independent from the toolchain. The IDE manages the provided software components that are available for the application as building blocks.

Keil was founded in 1985 to market add-on products for the development tools provided by many of the silicon vendors. It soon became evident that there was a void in the marketplace that must be filled by quality software development tools. It was then that Keil implemented the first C compiler designed from the ground-up specifically for the 8051 microcontroller.

In October 2005, Keil (Keil Elektronik GmbH in Munich, Germany, and Keil Software, Inc. in Richardson, Texas) was acquired by ARM.

TMG Thermal/Flow Simulation (NXCAE_EXTRAS) module provides heat transfer solutions and is an add-on module to either NX Advanced FEM or NX Advanced Simulation. The Foundry is pleased to announce the availability of Nuke 13.0v1, the next feature release for Nuke. New version introduces flexible machine learning toolset, Hydra 3D viewport renderer and extended monitor out functionality, enhanced workflows for collaborative review, and Python 3 support.


Kicking off the next series of Nuke releases, Foundry has announced the release of Nuke 13. The release introduces a flexible machine learning toolset, a new Hydra 3D viewport renderer and extended monitor out functionality, enhanced workflows for collaborative review, and Python 3 support.

Developed by Foundry's A.I. research team, Nuke 13 enables artists to create bespoke effects with a high-quality result in relatively little time. Applications of the flexible toolset include upres, removing motion blur, tracker marker removal, beauty work, and garbage matting. It allows artists to harness the power of machine learning directly in the software.

Key components of the machine learning toolset include:

CopyCat - An artist can create an effect on a small number of frames in a sequence and train a network to replicate this effect with the CopyCat node. This artist-focused shot-specific approach enables the creation of high-quality, bespoke models relatively quickly within Nuke without custom training environments, complex network permissions, or sending data to the cloud.

Inference - The node that runs the neural networks produced by CopyCat, applying the model to your image sequence or another sequence.

Upscale and Deblur - Two new tools for common compositing tasks were developed using the ML methodology behind CopyCat and open-source MLServer. The ML networks for these nodes can be refined using CopyCat to create even higher-quality shots or studio-specific versions in addition to their primary use for resizing footage and removing motion blur.

Nuke 13.0 also includes the introduction of Hydra support within Nuke's 3D viewport, this offers a higher quality image much closer to Scanline Renderer's output, enabling artists to work closer to their final image. Using hdStorm for rendering also provides a more consistent experience to other applications using Hydra.

Sync Review, originally Introduced in Nuke 12.2, has been extended to support syncing of editorial actions as well as playback and annotations. Now fully supported in Nuke Studio, Hiero, and HieroPlayer, Sync Review offers a new way to collaborate on review remotely and share the vision of the final image.

AMETank enables the rapid configuration, design, and detailing of above-ground shop-built and field-erected storage tanks. Design calculations conform to API 650. Calculations include seismic, internal and external pressures, and wind loading. AMETank supports a fully interactive 3D graphical user interface. The configuration and layout of the tank shell, floor, roof and structure, and subsystems is facilitated through intuitive menus with options customized specifically for tank design. The plates layout and fabrication details are provided. Output for NC machines is supported. Detailed assembly and components fabrication drawings for all substructures, appurtenances, ladders, platforms, stairs, and any other subsystems are supported. A complete design can be configured and detailed in less than two hours including the automatic generation of tank 3D geometry with production details, To-scale drawings, bill of material, and weight & cost reports.

Also TechnoSoft provides services for laser scanning and digital reconstruction of tanks, terminals, refineries, and other assets. Assessments include bottom and foundation settlement, shell roundness and verticality, structural column verticality, and floating roof to shell operation. Tank calibration and generation of strapping tables is available. Inspection and integrity analysis services are available. Inspection services include a large array of NDE technologies including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, visual, magnetic flux leakage, and vacuum box testing. iOS Forensic Toolkit supports logical acquisition, a simpler and safer acquisition method compared to physical. • We fixed a crash of automatic routing of parts. The crash could only occur in certain, very rare cases.
• We fixed a problem of the ParallelStation with the setting Set-up only when empty . If an MU with another type was unblocked and additional MUs were placed in the blocking list, the simulation sometimes did not continue. (PR 9983374)
• We fixed a bug when activating acceleration of the Transporter. Now Plant Simulation checks if the Target position can be reached with speed 0 if target distance , target position or a route for the Transporter not bound to a fixed route network is set.
• We fixed a bug of the Transporter not bound to a fixed route network which in rare cases caused Transporter to be invisible temporarily. (PR 9977316)
• We fixed a bug when unblocking parts of the Store/ParallelStation. It could occur when a part was moved to a specific storage place when the entrance was closed. When opening the entrance the part was then not moved to the designated storage place but to an arbitrary place. (PR 9997076)
• We fixed a bug of the AssemblyStation which did not start processing parts when it was set-up for a mounting part with Set-up for when the mounting part had the same type as the main part. (PR 9999955)

Fixed Bugs of the Information Flow Objects
• We fixed several problems in the FileInterface which could occur when processing text files coded in UTF-8 and Unicode. Sometimes the BOM (Byte Order Mark) of these files was considered incorrectly when processing the files. In addition UTF-8 files without BOM were processed with the Windows code page. In both cases the contents of these files was provided incorrectly through the FileInterface.
• We fixed a bug which occurred when the source code of a Method was authored in SimTalk 1.0 and when at least one line contained spaces or tab stops after the semicolon. Then breakpoints and bookmarks would get list when applying the changes and the syntax would become invalid. (PR 9979816)
• We fixed a bug which prevented you from deleting the column or row index with the commands of the context menu. We removed the commands for deleting the column or row index respectively. (PR 9977850)

Fixed Bugs in 3D
• We fixed a problem which sometimes prevented a user-defined configuration type of a length-oriented object on the tab Appearance of the dialog Edit 3D Properties from being recognized as such although the type could not be represented by one of the built-in types. (PR 9966248)
• We fixed the display of the object Oracle19c which was shows as a gray cube.
• We fixed a crash which occurred when you exported an object as an .s3d file that represented the structure of a valid robot. (PR 9981843)
• We fixed a problem when setting MU animation areas via SimTalk, the retrieval of bounding boxes, and the display and editing of visibilities of graphic groups in the dialog Edit 3D Properties and in the dialog Show Graphic Structure which occurred for a Worker that was walking at the moment of that stopped on its way. The problem caused the animation-caused intermediate state of the graphic group visibility to be treated as if the graphic group would be actually visible like that.This could interfere with the mentioned usages and, for example, cause debugging of a Method, which attempted to assign a MU animation area to change how it was processed. Now the animation-caused intermediate state is ignored in all of these cases and only the attribute _3D.VisibleGraphicGroups is considered.
Note: The dialog Show Graphic Structure will in the future show the actual visibility of a graphic group in its icon, while the context menu command Visible naturally shows the state of the attribute _3D.VisibleGraphicGroups. In the future it might this be that the icon and the context menu command will not show the same for a walking Worker. (PR 9970530)
• We fixed a rare problem which caused Plant Simulation to jump parts of animation paths, which only changed the rotation but did not change the rotation axis and the rotation angle.
• We fixed a problem which caused the alignment to the grid for newly inserted anchor points of length-oriented ob- jects to be unreliable. (PR 9969830)
• We fixed a problem which allowed you to change the name of animation paths in the dialog Edit 3D Properties and which caused crashes afterwards. We now correct models with such unnamed animation paths by deleting the respective paths.
• We fixed a crash of the method _3D.RobotArmAnimations.setTable which could occur when the passed table contained invalid data.
• We fixed a problem, which in rare cases prevented individual objects in the copied folder to be created in 3D when duplicating a folder in the Class Library. (PR 9997986)
• We changed the behavior of command Open Location in 3D-Only-models . It now zooms to the object if it is located in a Frame.
• We fixed a bug which could cause all graphic groups to be invisible for the Chart. (PR 9980532)
