Jaws for Windows - world's most popular screen reader that works on the PC for Windows. It provides access to the system and office applications and other required software, including Internet browsers. Thanks to a speech synthesizer, via an audio card in the computer, the information from the screen is read aloud, enabling speech access to the most diverse content. Jaws also allows you to write on the refreshable Braille displays. JAWS includes a large set of keyboard commands that allow to reproduce the steps that are usually performed only with the mouse. These commands, and other useful features designed to improve the speed and efficiency. Utilities included in the package allow for fine-tuning the most comfortable working with any particular application.


System requirements : * JAWS 32-bit Professional can be used in all 32-bit versions of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. * JAWS 64-bit Professional can be used in all 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Processor capable of supporting the requirements of the operating system and other programs used along with JAWS. * Sufficient amount of memory required to run the operating system and other programs used along with JAWS. An additional amount of memory will improve the performance of the system during operation JAWS. * JAWS requires at least 200 MB of free hard disk space for program files and configuration files. Additional disk space is required for training materials JAWS, operating system and other programs and Windows swap file. * To use Eloquence for JAWS synthesizer or listen to training materials, you need a sound card that is compatible with your version of Windows. If you choose not to use Eloquence for JAWS, then you need a software or hardware speech synthesizer that is compatible with JAWS, or Braille display. Note: If no sound card JAWS will not be able to use it during the installation. * Video card with minimum screen resolution of 800x600 and the quality of 16 bit color (recommended screen resolution of 1024x768 and 32 bit color quality
