SpeedTree 8 for Unity is now available as a subscription, indie, and full games license, bringing PBR goodness and advanced features to Unity 2018.

3. By default, SpeedTree will export with a material set up for the Standard pipeline, but still faces some challenges for those who want to use the beta High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) or Lightweight Render Pipeline (LWRP) pipeline. Unity's HDRP and LWRP bifurcate the engine into two preset scriptable render pipelines (SRP) and offer greater flexibility in customizing the Unity engine to fit your needs. While this solution provides many much-needed features, it's not without its challenges. Each render pipeline requires a different material setup and these materials are still very much in development.
While we have plans for SpeedTree models to work with the Shader Graph, we do not currently have the ability to apply our vertex animated SpeedTree wind, hue variation, or smooth LOD transitions in any SRP, while the "Standard 3D" pipeline into Unity works generally as expected.
We're working with Unity to continue to develop the Unity Integration and hope to have a stable solution soon.
But don't panic, we have a few tricks for getting a SpeedTree up and running in HDRP right now.
Texture Changes:
1.HDRP Mask Texture: HDRP uses a different mask than our standard Unity packing option (read more here).
2.Thickness Map: Transmission (used for thin translucent objects) in HDRP uses a thickness map to evaluate depth on flat planes. To output a thickness map, we simply export our subsurface as a grayscale texture (read more here).
Alternate Packing:
1 We made an additional packing option that can be dropped your installation folder (SpeedTree Games 8.3 -> texture_packing).
2.On export, be sure to select Unity HDRP for the texture packing type.
Importing the SpeedTree:
-Either export the SpeedTree Model directly into your Unity project's asset folder or copy the files into the project folder once complete.
-The first step to prep the tree for HDRP is to make sure that your textures are the right file type. While Unity will automatically detect and offer to fix the normal maps, mask and thickness need a few quick adjustments. and many more..

RadcomSearch is an easy to use windows program to search the register of radiocommunications licences (Radcom) kept by the Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA), extract matching entries, and from those extractions calculate possible RFI interference levels at a single site or across a map grid.

Originally written to search the old-style RADCOM CD-ROMs (CSV version) purchased from ACMA, version 2.0 of RadcomSearch was updated to provide access to the new SPECTRA RRL files which may be ed free from the ACMA website.
RadcomSearch is not intended to be a stand-alone and rigorous assessment of radio frequency interference (RFI) issues. RadcomSearch simply allows an initial desktop assessment, which may help to identify areas requiring further more detailed analysis nd actual on-site measurement.
The main functions of RadcomSearch are divided into several sections, which are accessible as tabs on the program window.
Setup tab allows the user to define the locations of the ACMA database files, which are not distributed with RadcomSearch. These include the old-style RADCOM CD-ROM files (if used), the new style SPECTRA RRL files, and/or the RadDEM digital elevation model files. The Setup tab also allows the user to select which digital elevation model (DEM) database to use for calculations, either the built-in ITU-R DEM, or the more accurate RadDEM database.
Data Map Grid tab allows the user to extract various basic DEM and climate parameters, across a grid of map points, and save them to a map grid file for plotting with a spreadsheet or an appropriate mapping program. Map grid files may be produced from terrain height data from the currently selected DEM, or may consist of one of several climate parameters from the built-in ITUR climate models, such as average temperature, rain rate, etc.
Extraction tab allows the user to search the ACMA database of frequency licenses and extract matching records to a CSV extraction file. The extraction file may then be viewed and edited with a text editor or spreadsheet (such as Excel or OpenOffice Calc). Extracted records may then be used to calculate interference power flux density (PFD) levels at a single site or across a map grid.
Conversion tab allows users to convert various RadcomSearch output files to other formats. For example, an extraction file may be converted to a GIS map data file to allow the locations of antenna sites and links to be mapped, using Google Earth, MapList-Flat, etc. Also, extraction files, or single site PFD files may be converted to TxPlan compatible carrier files, to allow the signal frequencies and levels to be plotted in our TxPlan program.
Path Profile tab allows the user to extract a path profile of terrain heights between two specified locations, using the currently selected DEM. The Lite unregistered program will save the path profile heights to a CSV file which the user may open and chart in a spreadsheet. The registered PRO version of the program will plot the path on screen, calculate path loss for a specified frequency, and allow the user to save the image or CSV path data.
PFD Single Site tab allows the user to calculate interference PFD levels at a specified location from a list of transmitters in an extraction file. Calculations take account of terrain shielding using the selected DEM, and climate induced propagation effects such as refraction and ducting. Results are saved to a CSV file which may be viewed and further manipulated using a spreadsheet program.
PFD Map Grid tab allows the user to calculate interference PFD levels, from the transmitters in an extraction file, at each point across a specified map grid. Results are saved to a map grid file which may be plotted with a spreadsheet or an appropriate mapping program.

Offline-Invoice is an easy to use windows program to create and print Invoices offline and then upload them to your QuickBooks Online account at a later time.

Offline-Invoice is intended for businesses who use QuickBooks Online for their business accounting, but need the ability to create and print invoices offline at times and places where internet access to the cloud is unreliable.
Offline-Invoice is designed specifically for Australian businesses, and incorporates the required fields to support Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Password Protection
Offline-Invoice requires a user password to encrypt and protect the QuickBooks Online access codes, which are stored on your local PC. Offline-Invoice sets no limits on what the password can be, so it is up to the user to select as strong a password as he deems appropriate for his own circumstances. You can change the password at any time by clicking "New Password". But note that because the password is used to encrypt the access codes, if you change the password then any existing access codes will be lost, and you will need to re-authorise Offline-Invoice to access your QuickBooks company files after a password change.
QuickBooks Authorisation
When Offline-Invoice is first used, or after a password change, you will need to authorise it to access your QuickBooks Online company files. Offline-Invoice will start your browser so you can log into QuickBooks online, choose your company (if you have more than one), and Authorise Offline-Invoice access. Once you have selected "Authorise", you will be shown a page giving your company ID number and temporary authorisation code. You must then copy and paste these two codes from the browser window into the appropriate boxes in Offline-Invoice to complete authorisation.

TracePlot is a tool intended for the use of professionals, and student, involved with the testing of radio and satellite communications systems.

TracePlot is an easy to use tool to display diagrams from spectrum analyser CSV trace files.
Modern spectrum analyzers and other electrical test equipment usually include a way to save the measurement data to a computer file for later processing. In older units this may simply be an image file showing the screen image from the device. However, most modern units also allow saving the actual measurement data to a CSV (comma separated values) file.
For a single CSV trace file, or a small number of files, it is quite easy to load them into a spreadsheet program and generate simple charts.
TracePlot was created for measurement projects where many CSV files of similar format are being generated, and where multiple separate trace files need to be displayed on a single chart. TracePlot allows the user to load multiple trace files and display the data all together on the one chart, in either 2D or 3D format. TracePlot allows the user to control colours and fonts, and view angles for the 3D plots, to add limit lines and labels, and colour shaded frequency bands. TracePlot then allows the user to save all of this configuration into a settings file (*.traceset). Users may then quickly produce consistent charts with the same settings for large numbers of CSV trace files.
Each model of spectrum analyser produces a CSV trace file of slightly different format. TracePlot has built-in data for a couple of these units from Agilent and Rohde&Schwarz, but it also allows the user to add their own custom trace file format specs, to allow TracePlot to quickly read the correct information from the user's own CSV trace files.
TracePlot also includes a tool to merge separate trace files. For example, when testing for spurious emissions compliance across a 500MHz band, it is not sufficient to measure the full band in one sweep. In order to accurately determine compliance, it is necessary to sweep the band in smaller individual segments. For example, an automated process can be set up to measure each 5MHz segment of the full band. However, this produces 100 individual trace measurement files. TracePlot allows those 100 individual sequential files to be merged into a single CSV trace file, with 100 times the measurement points of a normal trace file, which may then be plotted by TracePlot, or loaded into a spreadsheet for further analysis, as desired.
