With DesktopOK you can save and restore the positions of the Windows desktop icons and additionally it gives you some helpful Windows desktop tools.
DesktopOK is a very handy piece of software that saves and restore the positions of all desktop icons, providing a few other extra tools to enhance the whole process. The main window groups all features you need to quickly save a desktop layout, but if you're an advanced user and you wish to step further into more advanced configuration options, DesktopOK can please you too.

Besides the fact that you can save and restore icons position on the go, clicking on "Options" lets you enable auto-saving and tweak save settings. As a result, you can use the work area or the screen resolution as name and define the maximum number of layouts to be saved.
What's more, DesktopOK can be configured to save the desktop layout before Windows shutdown and restore the original position before Windows startup.
DesktopOK automatically saves the original layout, allowing you to easily revert to the default settings.
DesktopOK works just fine on all Windows versions, and even if it places an icon in the Windows System Tray, it remains very friendly with hardware resources all the time.
All in all, DesktopOK is clearly a handy tool, especially in case you change display resolutions on a regular basis. This way, every single user can have his very own layout, with minimum configuration options and a very intuitive interface.

Display Changer II changes your Windows display resolution, runs a program, then restores the original settings. This is useful for games and home-theater computers. I wrote Display Changer II because many programs run best under a particular resolution (e.g., 640x480 with 8-bit color depth or 1920x1080 with a 24 Hz refresh rate). I grew tired of manually changing the Windows display settings manually, so I wrote Display Changer II to do it automatically.

Display Changer II changes your Windows desktop width, height, color depth, refresh rate, and rotation temporarily or permanently (via a configuration file). Display Changer II can run another application in a specific display resolution and return to the previous resolution when the application finishes. It can change the resolution permanently and rearrange the monitors in a multiple-monitor setup. Display Changer II can also duplicate (clone) your monitors, extend the desktop to multiple monitors, configure only the primary PC screen, and configure only the secondary screen.
Display Changer II uses configuration files to specify display settings. It can create configuration files from existing settings, which eliminates the need for you to edit the files yourself. The configuration file specifies every setting for each monitor, including the very precise refresh rates needed for home-theater systems.
(Unfortunately, Display Changer II cannot modify the Windows DPI (scaling factor) or HDR settings. There is currently no Microsoft API that offers these features. Although some applications hack at the Registry to modify the DPI, they require the user to restart Windows, which Display Changer II tries to avoid. If Microsoft does offer these features at some point, I plan to update Display Changer II to take advantage of them.)

EMCO Network Software Scanner is an inventory tool that allows you to get information on applications installed anywhere on the network. For every PC, this tool collects information that includes the installed applications' names, versions, installation dates and other parameters available in the Windows Add/Remove Programs list.

Also, the application allows extracting information on installed software updates from remote PCs. The collected information is displayed in the application's UI and can be exported to a CSV file.
Software inventory information collected by the application is saved into a database and can be compared with previously extracted data in order to detect applications and updates that were installed and uninstalled in meantime. The list of changes is displayed in the application's UI and can be exported to a CSV file.
The operations of network scanning and software audit can be performed without any client installation on network PCs. All operations work silently and are invisible for end-users. The application doesn't use WMA for software audit operations, so it can be used in network where WMA is disabled.

· The application allows scanning Windows computers in a local network to extract information on applications installed on every PC. The reported information includes the application name, version and vendor, installation date and installation size, as well as other fields displayed in the Windows Programs and Components dialog.
Software Updates Audit
· Information collected from remote PCs also includes a list of installed software updates. Such lists of updates are grouped by applications, so it's easy to check the history of updates for all applications. The reported information on updates includes the installation date, version, etc. Some software vendors provide a link with information about the applied changes.
Installed Software Changes Tracking
· All information collected during network scans is automatically saved into a database. When the network is scanned next time, the actual software inventory information can be compared with the results of one of the previous scans to detect applications that were installed or uninstalled in the meantime and display them in a special view.
Software Inventory Data Export
· For every scanned PC, you can export the collected software inventory information, including a list of installed applications, updates and software changes, to a file in the CSV format. The Export Wizard allows you to configure the export parameters such as delimiters and encoding. The application exports all collected inventory data, including all fields.

Intel OneApi Developer Tools is what used to be called Parallel Studio - development tools for productive, often parallelized software developed by Intel and consisting of a C / C ++ compiler, Fortran compiler, various libraries, profiling tools and much more.

The entire set of components for development is divided by Intel into subgroups, which they called Toolkits. Installation of the corresponding toolkit - by running "Setup_.cmd". Intel recommends that you first install what you need from the Base toolkit ... and if after that you are missing something, then also what you need from other toolkits (For the content of the toolkits, see the additional info). But it seems to work even if you don't install Base at all if you don't need any of it at all (well, let's say if you only need a Fortran compiler, you can install it right away by running Setup_Compute.cmd)
The distribution is made for
• those who find it more convenient/faster to download from the tracker (rather than registering and climbing there on the Intel site downloading toolkits one by one ... some components require registration to download them ... plus now all this must be done under a VPN due to the fact that Intel decided to "play politics")
• Plus, because there are a lot of repetitions in the toolkits, downloading an image from the distribution from the tracker is one and a half times more profitable than downloading everything from Intel separately on your own.
• well, in the image from the distribution - everything is already unpacked there, and you don't have to unpack the downloaded gigabytes first, and only then install it.
In short , it's easier and less to download from the distribution, and faster to install. Who wants to download from Intel - download from Intel ... this is also an option, there is no market!
