• Hold down the right side |⌘ command| and press the first letter of the app name to focus apps instantly
• The Dynamic algorithm will choose the most useful app for each letter
* The algorithm will adapt in real time to your workflow
• If apps live on separate spaces, rcmd will switch to the relevant space
* Switching spaces needs the following setting enabled
- System Preferences --> Mission Control --> "When switching to an application, switch to a Space with open windows for the application"
• When pressing the key while the app is already focused, you can use one of 2 useful functions
* HIDE: Show/Hide the app instantly

SyncTime is the simplest solution to synchronize your files. Did you ever wish you could easily keep up to date all your backup copies, distributed across many devices? SyncTime will just do it.

SyncTime is capable of so many things, yet is so simple to use. From manual, scheduled or completely automatic syncing, to background syncing, bidirectional syncs and sophisticated exclude filters, you'll be able to set up your syncs exactly as you imagine.
You can create as many sync items as you need and customize each one individually. A sync item mainly consists of two folders: a source and a destination. You can choose any two folders reachable in the Finder: they can be located on your Mac, on an external drive, like a USB stick, or even on a remote server.
Among the possible options you will find
• Four overwrite policies: don't touch files already existing on the destination, overwrite only if the source file is newer than the destination file, overwrite if the source file has a different timestamp or overwrite always
• Three sync types: one-way sync (default), two-way sync (merge source and destination) and one-way move (delete the source files after a successful transfer to the destination). Please read carefully about these sync types in the Help section on the SyncTime website
• Remove files that don't exist on the source anymore
• Background syncing: changes are monitored in real time in order to keep your destination always up to date
• Start to sync automatically whenever source and destination become available or sync once a day, a week or a month
• Every sync item can be dependent on other sync items: it will trigger the dependencies and run automatically when they are all completed
• Files to be overwritten or removed can be moved to the trash or to a custom backup directory
• Exclude hidden files, files with names containing specific words or matching a regular expression, and selected files. Or exclude the root directory and specify just some included files.
Other features include
• Changes have to be confirmed by default and you can inspect the files that will be added, overwritten and removed and preview them in QuickLook
• Cancel a running sync at any time and restart it later
• Syncs run in parallel
• Automatic launch on login can be enabled from the status bar menu
• Your Mac can automatically be set to sleep or shut down after all syncs have finished (requires the respective Applescripts to be installed in the Scripts directory. For detailed instructions, please visit the website).

Sometimes, the inevitable happens and your computer needs a hard disk format or, even worse, you're faced with a hardware failure. In order to prevent losing your entire data collection, you should start creating backups. FBackup is an application designed to help you backup your personal files and protect them. These can be saved on your hard drives or on your local network. By accessing the app's "Properties", you can also choose to save your files to an external hard drive or a removable device. FBackup allows you to create a full copy or only create a mirror for your files. Furthermore, you can encrypt the data and add a password. This means that only you restore your backups.

Automatic backups

Backup with standard zip compression

If you don't want to have the files stored in one zip file, FBackup can make exact copies of the backup sources using "mirror backup". Since FBackup will also back up empty folders, you can use this backup type to create in the destination a "mirror" copy of the original files. It also includes a Fast Mirror option that will copy only new and modified files.
Protection against ransomware
Ransomware are some of the most aggressive crypto-viruses and FBackup protects your data against those. With FBackup you can create backups of your important data and store those online to Google Drive or Dropbox. This way, even if your data gets encrypted by ransomware viruses, you'll still have uninfected copies stored online.
Easy to use
The main functions of a backup program are backing up and restoring. These are very easy to run with FBackup by using the included backup wizard. Just start the wizard, select What, Where, How and When to run the backup and you're all set. For restoring you just need to open the restore wizard and you'll be asked where you want the restore data to be saved (original location, different one, ...).
Run actions before/after backup
For each backup job, you can define an action to execute before or after the backup. For example, you can select "Clear backup" before the backup runs, so that all the previous backed up files will be cleared before loading the new ones. As an after-backup action, you can set it to stand by, log off, hibernate or even shut down the computer once the backup has successfully finished.
Automatic updates
FBackup automatically checks for updates weekly, so you'll know when a new version is released. The option to check for updates can be disabled, but we recommend that it is enabled so that FBackup will be up-to-date.
Multiple backup destinations
By default, your backups will be stored on the local Windows partition. To be sure you have a secure backup, we highly recommend you to store the backups on other destinations supported by FBackup. It supports external drives such as USB/Firewire, mapped network drives, CD/DVD/BluRay and online destinations (Google Drive and Dropbox). This way, if your computer suffers a hardware failure, you'll have your data safe on an external location.
Backups in the Cloud
With FBackup you can back-up your files and folders in the Cloud to your existing Google Drive or Dropbox account. Simply connect your account with FBackup and you'll be able to use it as a Cloud destination. This lets you combine the best of both worlds, your favorite free backup program with world-renowed free cloud storage.
Backup plugins
You can load plugins for backing up or restoring specific program settings or other custom data (like game saves, email data, etc.). Once loaded in FBackup, these plugins will list the sources needed to be backed up for that particular program in "Predefined Backups." Backup open files
If a file is in use by another program at the time of the backup, FBackup will still be able to back up that file, because it uses the Volume Shadow Service that Windows provides. So, as long as you're using Windows 10, 8/8.1, 7, Vista, XP, 2016/2012/2008/2003 Server (32/64-bit), FBackup will back up those open files. As an example, you will be able to back up your Outlook emails and settings without closing the program first.
Multi-language
You can choose a language for the user interface from the languages currently supported.

MEGAsync is a simple and easy to use application that enables you to create a path between a local source folder and a cloud drive, in order to perform file synchronization. The program requires that you create a MEGA account and set up your cloud drive, then select a local source folder for synchronization. Once you sign up, the rest of the process is simple. All you have to do is copy or update the files you wish to synchronize in the local dedicated folder. The transfer is done instantly.

Does the world really need yet another cloud backup storage solution? The answer is yes when you look more closely at what MEGA, the brainchild of Kim Dotcom, has to offer. First, there's the offer of 50GB free storage space (capped to 10GB bandwidth a month), with paid-for plans offering 500GB/1TB monthly bandwidth from $11 a month or $120 a year.
Second, MEGA promises really tight security: 2048-bit RSA encryption no less. Your password acts as the master encryption key, so if it's strong enough it should be impervious even to brute-force attacks. Be wary, however: there are no password-reset options, so if you forget it, any data not shared with others will be lost.
Having 50GB to hand is very useful, but to make the most of it you'll want a client that can make uploading and syncing data between your machines effortless. This is that client.
Once installed, you're able to either sync the entire contents of your MEGA drive or just specific folders within it to your computer. These are housed inside a MEGA folder that's created inside your personal Documents folder - if this doesn't suit, take a trip to the Sync tab of the program's settings to delete the default choice and add your choice of location instead. A bit fiddly, but at least it can be done.
Any data already in your cloud account will then download to your PC, while any files or folders copied or updated into this folder will upload in turn back to your MEGA account online. Open the folder in Windows Explorer and you'll see tiny progress icons - red cross, blue sync and green tick - indicating if the files are in sync with your online storage or not.
Click the program's system tray icon for a more comprehensive view of what's going on behind the scenes: what's being synced, recently synced items and access to the all-important settings. From here you can perform a number of tweaks, and even optimise the client's bandwidth so that uploading doesn't cripple your internet connection (in most cases, the automatic setting should be fine).
