The objects can be assigned physical properties, which then influence the behavior of the objects during simulation. For example, objects can be depend on gravity and be magnetic. In addition, you can set parameters such as density, surface friction and elasticity. An integrated physics engine ensures the realistic simulation of the objects. The user interface and the drawing area of PLC-Lab are entirely vector-oriented. This means that the objects in PLC-Lab can be enlarged or reduced in size without any loss of quality. Use of PLC-Lab is based on programs such as PowerPoint by Microsoft.

From simple to complex
The complexity of creating your digital twin is up to you. You can just use buttons, lamps and a few cylinders, or you can create a virtual scene as realistic as possible using real photos of the installation or images created by a designer. The goal should be that the virtual system delivers the same signals to the PLC and reacts to the outputs as the real system.

Differences to Factory I/O
Factory I/O is 3D and PLC-Lab is 2D. But much more important: Factory I/O is designed for PLC training and it can be used to build certain and simplified machine types. The visual representation of the created scenes in 3D and the real-time sound ensures a wow effect. If you can build your desired scene with the parts of Factory I/O, it is the perfect product for you. However, if you want to digitize an existing hardware model or have exact requirements for a virtual scene, then PLC-Lab is the right choice. This software is the portable version of System Information Viewer. As its title suggests, the tool lets you view various details about the system you are using.

Thanks to its portability, System Information Viewer doesn't require installation. So, you can place the software on an external drive and directly run it on any computer. Plus, your Windows registry will not be changed.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can check out data about your operating system, resource usage, system physical memory, paging file and file cache, and others.

In addition, you can save local, PCI, DMI, DIMM SPD, selected or all data, copy the bitmap, view menus, battery, STC and MEM information, as well as access Registry Editor.

WizTree is a simple-to-use application that comes in handy for identifying the files which are taking up the most space on your hard disk, in order to take the appropriate measures for managing clutter.

The setup operation finishes in no time. You are greeted by a comfortable interface, consisting of a standard window with a well-defined structure. All you have to do is select the target drive and scan it with the click of a button.

The list of results displays a tree view with folders containing large files, and you can view their size, total items and folders, date and time of last modification, along with attributes. The queue can be sorted according to any of these parameters.

Alternatively, you can change the viewing mode to check out the top 1000 largest files that exist in your system and how much space of the drive they occupy (in percent). The top part of the main panel shows used, free and all space on the scanned drive.

Apart from dynamic values, it is possible to show their byte, KB, MB and GB counterparts, open a new instance or Command Prompt dialog, copy the path of a selected file or folder, as well as delete items permanently or send them to the Recycle Bin.

WizTree has a good response time and displays accurate information while using moderate RAM and low CPU. It does not burden machine performance or interrupt normal user activity. No errors were shown during Softpedia evaluation, and the tool did not freeze or crash. Unfortunately, it does not provide options for saving the information to file or printing it. Otherwise, WizTree should satisfy all users.
