Mike will show you the 2 electric guitars in this song. Guitar 1 is a rhythm guitar that lays down a steady foundation for the tune. Guitar 2 is an effected crunch guitar that adds a melodic layer to the tune.

The tune starts out with the piano playing a simple melody. We'll adapt this melody on guitar. Then the groove kicks in with Guitar 1 providing some steady strums of the chord progression. The arrangement consists of a repeated verse and bridge section. There's also an outro that features a different riff through the fadeout.

In the following lessons, we'll talk about barre chords, single note melodies, and some steady strumming approaches. We are in the key ofB major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 110 BPM.
