Anhand dieser monita und durch einen Vergleich zwischen Entwurf und AGB wird deutlich, in welcher Weise und in welchen Grenzen die universitäre Rechtswissenschaft im zeitgenössischen Preußen an der Reform beteiligt war. Insbesondere wird hervorgehoben, daß Darjes als der zwischen 1765 und 1779 meistgelesene Naturrechtler an den deutschen Universitäten auch umfassend von Carmer und Svarez bei der Umarbeitung des Entwurfs herangezogen wurde.Unmittelbar auf Darjes Einlassungen zurückzuführende Änderungen finden sich zwar lediglich bezüglich der Rechteeinteilung und des Sachenrechts. In den Augen der Redaktoren liegt seine Bedeutung allerdings wahrscheinlich ohnehin darin, als Schutzschild gegen die mögliche ständische Reaktion zu dienen. Insgesamt ist die Art und Weise seiner Beteiligung an der Gesetzesreform ein hervorstechendes Beispiel des tragenden rationalen Diskurses in der Epoche.
