Build a data-driven library application, powered by Django Rest Framework and Graphene

What you'll learn

Python
Django
Graphene
Docker

Requirements

A basic understanding of Python.

Description

Welcome to Intro to Django and Graphene!

Django is a high-level Python web framework that enables rapid development of secure and maintainable websites. Built by experienced developers, Django takes care of much of the hassle of web development, so you can focus on writing your app without needing to reinvent the wheel. It is free and open source, has a thriving and active community, and great documentation.

Here is why you should join:

91% of my in-person bootcamp students go on to get full-time developer jobs. Most of them are complete beginners when I start working with them.

The bootcamp program I teach costs $15,000. This course is just as comprehensive but with brand new content for a fraction of the price.

Everything I cover is up-to-date and relevant to today's developer industry.

Along with the course, I wrote an extensive guide to getting started with Django development on my website.

FAQ:

How long is this course?

The entire course is self-paced, and should take about one week to complete.

What are the prerequisites for this course?

We assume you know the basics of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and perhaps have dabbled in a newer backend library (like Django) to recognize what it offers. With that said, we spend as much time as we can to ensure that we introduce and explain all the technologies we intend to use before we use them.

The course does not teach you how to program from scratch. We delve into intermediate/advanced code, for example, building a GraphQL server with Graphene.

While you don't have to be a Django expert, it is good if you have, for example, gone through a basic Django tutorial beforehand.

Why did you choose [X] technology?

We picked the technologies for this course based on our experience, how well these technologies work together, and their use in numerous production applications today. With that being said, we stress the important patterns and concepts we think one needs to know to help build whatever Django application one might have in mind. There's a lot of information you'll learn from this course to help get you where you want to go.

Who this course is for:

Developers looking to learn about python backend development.

Program networking protocols on Arduino, such as IP, TCP, UDP, NTP, HTTP, CoAP.
Understand the principals of IoT protocols

Requirements
Basic working knowledge of Arduino boards is required.
Some C programming experience to understand Arduino sketches is beneficial.
Description
IP communication is the essence of the Internet of Things. Software developers, architects and IoT professionals face networking challenges during system design and implementation. To achieve success, it is fundamental to understand how IoT devices interact with each other and how they communicate through the Internet and with the cloud.

Learn and Implement Networking Protocols for the Internet of Things in this Comprehensive Course.

Understand networking protocols used in IoT (IP, TCP, UDP)

Learn IoT protocols (CoAP, MQTT)

Understand and implement network services (DHCP, NTP, DNS, HTTP)

Implement End-toEnd IP networking with Arduino

Connect your IoT devices to each other, to the Internet and to cloud services

Mastering networking protocols for the Internet of Things

Broken down, the Internet has some decades of history and its operation is defined by internetworking protocols. The IoT phenomenon brought the need for new communication protocols, specially fit for devices with constraint resources.

In this course you may learn how all these protocol work and how they are built on each other. You will also learn how to design and implement an end-to-end networking solution for your IoT project.

Contents and Overview

I designed this course to cover both theory and practice. In the lectures I explain how and why we use each protocols and show how to implement them on Arduino controllers. We will discuss pros and cons of different implementations, dependencies between protocols and best practices of their choice.

Who this course is for:
Anyone who is interested in learning about how to interconnect IoT devices.
Software developers who develop IoT applications and needs deeper understanding on IP networking.
IoT application developers and architects.

Learn Networking 101 (from the mind of a Hacker)

What you'll learn

This is a fast-paced mini-course designed to be the precursor to your CompTIA Security+ SY0-501 training. If you're planning for the Security+ exam but feel a little worried about your networking skills, fear not! You'll have everything you need to know after completing this course.
After completing the course you will have a firm understanding of networking basics.

Requirements

Wireshark is recommended by not required

Description
n00b To Ninja

Think You Understand The Basics?

One of the questions we often see goes like this: "Do I need to pass the CompTIA Network+ exam before taking the Security+?"

Now this is an excellent question because, although the Security+ exam doesn't have any prerequisites it is still highly recommended that all students have a firm understanding of basic networking technologies.

The n00b to Ninja course is a great prep tool to get you mentally and psychologically ready to tackle the Security+ exam (but you can also use it to simply gain a better understanding of how networks work)

What You Will Learn

Networking Basics from the ground up (everything everyone already THINKS you know but you know you don't)
Routers and Switches - what they really do and why we need them
All about DHCP - it's not just about automatically getting an IP address
BONUS: DHCP penetration testing attacks to show you how an attacker might abuse DHCP on a local area network
DNS from A to Z. After this lecture you will finally completely understand what DNS is, why we have it and how it really works. All secrets revealed.
ARP: Have you ever wondered why we have both MAC addresses and IP Addresses? Have you been confused about this? After this lecture you'll know why we need both (Hint: 90% of IT professionals don't even know the answer to this basic question - but you will after completing this lecture)
You'll learn all about IP addresses - we'll break it down to the binary level and show you how to convert between binary and decimal and back again
You'll learn the purpose of the Subnet Mask and how (and why) to Subnet Networks - it's a lot easier than you think
All about NAT - the greatest inhibitor to innovation but also the reason the internet hasn't collapsed on itself! IT people like to throw this term around but you'll finally GET it - it'll just make sense after you finish this lecture.
All about ports - what are ephemeral ports, well known ports - why we have ports - all that jazz
WAN technologies - we'll take a step back and look at the internet at large and how routing protocols work.

Here's what this course will do for you

The purpose of this course is really simple: to give you the confidence you need to pass the Security+ exam.

Sure you're going to have fun along the way, and sure you can use these skills to stay in your current job and be a more competent employee but we designed this course to spring-board your entry into the exam.

Once you know the fundamentals taught in this course you'll not only be better prepared but also eager to begin your studies for the Security+ exam.

So what are you waiting for? Jump in now!

Who this course is for:

Beginner Network Administrators, this course is not for experts.
Entry Level Help Desk Analysts and Technicians
New Cyber Security Analysts

** I am Still Adding Content to this Course** - Last Updated: 11 Oct 2020

Welcome to the Linux Kernel Programming world! This is the course on Netlink Sockets in which I have covered Netlink Sockets in Detail which is a kernel facility provided to userspace applications to carry out bidirectional IPC with kernel space. In this course, We shall learn how Netlink Sockets can be used to exchange Netlink Messages between Kernel and Userspace.

This Course could also be your first step towards entering the kernel programming world !! This is a good starting point for those who will be writing kernel code for the first time. Scratch for Arduino (S4A) is a modified version of Scratch and it has been used by many people in a lot of different projects around the world. Projects are designed to interact with the real world using Scratch which helps one easily receive inputs from many sensors. This course is primarily targeted at learners who wish to explore Arduino and learn about microcontrollers. This course requires one to have basic knowledge in electronics of concepts like voltage, current and resistance.

The course taker also needs to download and install the software on their computer and they are good to go. No prior knowledge of programming or coding is required however basic knowledge about the same is a bonus!

The course is structured as a series of interesting real time projects, through which you can learn how to use the software interface to make Projects of your own. Arduino can be used to change surroundings by controlling lights, motors, and a number of other accessories. It's intended for anyone looking to make interactive hardware projects.

Who this course is for:
This course requires one to have basic knowledge in electronics
No prior knowledge of programming or coding is required
People who want to try Arduino and learn about microcontrollers
