RescuePRO Deluxe is a software application that helps users recover images, documents, audio and video files, or other type of files that were accidently deleted, lost, or formatted.

Print Conductor selects the most effective way to process your files. Let's say you want to print several Word DOCX files "as is". In this case, Print Conductor will use Microsoft Word API, because this is the fastest and the most straightforward way to process DOC and DOCX files.

However, if you need to print DOCX files in grayscale mode and add pagination, Print Conductor will export your DOCX files to PDF first. Then our PDF processing ee will be used since Microsoft Word has no ability to batch print files in grayscale mode. This way, processing may take longer, but the outcome will be just as required. Thus, the program switches to printing via PDF if a specific task cannot be solved the "direct way".

NL5 is the Non-Linear Electronic Circuit Simulator.

The first version of NL for personal computers was developed in the early '90s as a tool for switching power supplies design. Since then NL has evolved into the Microsoft Windows-based NL4, which has been used extensively by world-class eeers in different fields of electronics for almost 10 years. NL5 is the first version to be publicly available.
How does NL5 work?

Unlike conventional SPICE-based simulators, which pretend to perform accurate simulation of electronic circuits using complex and detailed non-linear component models with dozens of parameters, the NL5 approach is quite different.

First, NL5 deals with ideal components as much as possible. An ideal component is one that provides just a basic functionality required for component of that type. As a rule, it is very simple and described by a minimal number of parameters. As a result, its behavior is clear and predictable. For example, an ideal switch has zero resistance when closed, infinite resistance when open, and it is switching instantly. For such a switch no parameters are required at all.

Second, non-linear components (e.g. diodes, transistors, or amplifiers) are represented as piecewise linear (PWL): consisting of a number of linear snts. For instance, a simple diode is either open or closed, so that its PWL representation consists of just two snts. As long as all of the components are staying within their current linear snt, the same system of linear equations can be used. The system is modified only at the moments when at least one component changes its linear snt. This can always be done much faster than solving complex non-linear equations at almost every step of simulation, which is what SPICE-based simulators usually do.

Understanding these NL5 principles gives users full control of the simulation process. Using ideal components with simple PWL models results in an extremely fast simulation, and gives a general idea of circuit functionality very quickly. On the other hand, more accurate results can be obtained by identifying critical components (those that affect circuit performance the most), and using more complex models for those components. Thus, users can always make a reasonable trade-off between simulation speed and desired level of accuracy.

Why use NL5?

NL5's major advantage is its ability to do iterations of the schematic and perform a simulation extremely fast. This is especially important in early stages of a project, when, using ideal components and simple models, eeers can evaluate a general concept and prove the feasibility of the design very quickly. After that, a thorough analysis can be performed by applying more accurate models and adding reasonable complexity to critical components.

Despite being originally designed for simulating switching power supplies, NL5 has proved to be an excellent simulation tool for almost any type of electronic circuitry, from nanoseconds transmission lines and high power RF generators, to precision instrumentation and digital signal processing. Recently added frequency domain analysis and some quite unique features broaden NL5's horizons, offering eeers almost all they would ever need for productive work.

Who can use NL5?

NL5 perfectly fits the needs of all users, regardless of their experience, interests, and expectations.

NL5 is ideal for novices and students studying electronics. The learning curve is negligibly short: basic knowledge of the Windows operating system is all that's needed to start working with NL5. A friendly and intuitive interface allows fast modifying of the schematic, even "on-the-fly" editing while the simulation is running, thus giving instant answers to "what if .?" questions.

Experienced eeers can simulate rather large systems, taking advantage of extremely fast and robust algorithm, since the convergence problem inherent to SPICE is no longer an issue. A simple, yet powerful, scripting language allows the user to perform complex tasks running NL5 as "add-on" simulation ee with popular eeering tools such as MATLAB and others.

Due to the very basic nature of ideal components used in NL5, its application area is not limited to electronics. It can be successfully used for systems simulation by researchers in many disciplines, such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, to name a few.

This utility can be useful if you lost the product key of your Windows/Office, and you want to reinstall it on your computer.

RegScanner RegScanner is a small utility that allows you to scan the Registry, find the desired Registry values that match to the specified search criteria, and display them in one list. After finding the Registry values, you can easily jump to the right value in RegEdit, simply by double-clicking the desired Registry item. You can also export the found Registry values into a .reg file that can be used in RegEdit.

OpenedFilesView OpenedFilesView displays the list of all opened files on your system. For each opened file, additional information is displayed: handle value, read/write/delete access, file position, the process that opened the file, and more...

Optionally, you can also close one or more opened files, or close the process that opened these files.

This utility is especially useful if you try to delete/move/open a file and you get one of the following error messages:

Cannot delete [filename]: There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use.

Cannot delete [filename]: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

When you get one of these error messages, OpenedFilesView will show you which process lock your file. Closing the right process will solve this problem. optionally, you can also release the file by closing the handle from OpenedFilesView utility. However, be aware that after closing a file in this way, the program that opened the file may become unstable, and even crash.

FileTypesMan FileTypesMan is an alternative to the 'File Types' tab in the 'Folder Options' of Windows. It displays the list of all file extensions and types registered on your computer. For each file type, the following information is displayed: Type Name, Description, MIME Type, Perceived Type, Flags, Browser Flags, and more. FileTypesMan also allows you to easily edit the properties and flags of each file type, as well as it allows you to add, edit, and remove actions in a file type.

SearchMyFiles SearchMyFiles is an alternative to the standard "Search For Files And Folders" module of Windows. It allows you to easily search files in your system by wildcard, by last modified/created/last accessed , by file attributes, by file content (text or binary search), and by the file size. SearchMyFiles allows you to make a very accurate search that cannot be done with Windows search. For Example: You can search all files created in the last 10 minutes with size between 500 and 700 bytes. After you made a search, you can select one or more files, and save the list into text/html/csv/xml file, or copy the list to the clipboard.

BlueScreenView BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the date/ of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters), and the details of the driver or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file description, and file version). For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane. BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly caused the crash.

ShellExView Shell Extensions are in-process COM objects which extends the abilities of Windows operating system. Most shell extensions are automatically installed by the operating system, but there are also many other applications that install additional shell extension components. For example: If you install WinZip on your computer, you'll see a special WinZip menu when you right-click on a Zip file. This menu is created by adding a shell extension to the system. The ShellExView utility displays the details of shell extensions installed on your computer, and allows you to easily disable and enable each shell extension.

LastActivityView LastActivityView is a tool for Windows operating system that collects information from various sources on a running system, and displays a log of actions made by the user and events occurred on this computer. The activity displayed by LastActivityView includes: Running .exe file, Opening open/save dialog-box, Opening file/folder from Explorer or other software, software installation, system shutdown/start, application or system crash, network connection/disconnection and more... You can easily export this information into csv/tab-delimited/xml/html file or copy it to the clipboard and then paste into Excel or other software.

TurnedOnsView TurnedOnsView is a simple tool that analyses the event log of Windows operating system, and detects the ranges that your computer was turned on. For every period of that the computer was turned on, the following information is displayed: Startup , Shutdown , Duration, Shutdown Reason, Shutdown Type, Shutdown Process, and Shutdown Code. TurnedOnsView allows you to get this information from your local computer, and from remote computer on your network if you have enough privilege to read the event log of Windows remotely.

WinLogOnView WinLogOnView is a simple tool for Windows Vista/7/8/2008 that analyses the security event log of Windows operating system, and detects the date/ that users logged on and logged off. For every that a user log on/log off to your system, the following information is displayed: Logon ID, User Name, Domain, Computer, Logon , Logoff , Duration, and network address. WinLogOnView also allows you to easily export the logon sessions information to tab-delimited/comma-delimited/html/xml file.

BatteryInfoView BatteryInfoView is a small utility for laptops and netbook computers that displays the current status and information about your battery. The displayed battery information includes the battery name, manufacture name, serial number, manufacture date, power state (chag/dischag), current battery capacity, full charged capacity, voltage, charge/discharge rate, and more... BatteryInfoView also provides a log window, which adds a new log line containing the battery status every 30 seconds or any other interval that you choose.

SysExporter SysExporter utility allows you to grab the data stored in standard list-views, tree-views, list boxes, combo boxes, text-boxes, and WebBrowser/HTML controls from almost any application running on your system, and export it to text, HTML or XML file.

USBDeview USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices that currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used.

For each USB device, extended information is displayed: Device name/description, device type, serial number (for mass storage devices), the date/ that device was added, VendorID, ProductID, and more...

USBDeview also allows you to uninstall USB devices that you previously used, and disconnect USB devices that are currently connected to your computer.

You can also use USBDeview on a remote computer, as long as you login to that computer with admin user.

MyEventViewer MyEventViewer is a simple alternative to the standard event viewer of Windows. As opposed to Windows event viewer, MyEventViewer allows you to watch multiple event logs in one list, as well as the event description and data are displayed in the main window, instead of opening a new one. Also, with MyEventViewer you can easily select multiple event items and then save them to HTML/Text/XML file, or copy them to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) and then paste them into Excel.

RegDllView RegDllView is a small utility that displays the list of all registered dll/ocx/exe files (COM registration). For each registered file, you can view the last date/ that it was registered, and the list of all registration entries (CLSID/ProgID).

RegDllView also allows you to unregister dll/ocx files that you don't need on your system anymore. If you have dll/ocx files that don't exist on your system anymore, but their registration entries are still exist in your Registry, you can manually remove these entries by using 'Delete All Entries For Selected Files' option.

WinCrashReport WinCrashReport provides an alternative to the built-in crash reporting program of Windows operating system.
