What's New in Reliability Workbench 14.0

The new features in Reliability Workbench 14 are:
General
- Import/Export to Excel has been speeded up for very large Excel files
- Excel import and export now handles multi-line text fields. Excel 2007 special identifiers _x000D_ are also removed on import
- Plugins may now perform analyses so long as the appropriate module licence is available
- The parts library and report generator now use SQL Express for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions
- The Help system now uses the default browser to display topic information.
Prediction Module
- A new method has been added to the DLL allowing prediction calculations to be performed
- Multiple derating definitions may now be provided for the same prediction category and sub-category to allow for multiple derating parameters (e.g. current and voltage stress)
FMECA Module
- Additional testability parameters for fault isolation have been added to the FMECA module.
- IEC 61508 parameters are now transferred when converting a FMECA to a fault tree or RBD. The failure model created will now match the default failure model set in project options
- Users may now choose to enter failure rates for component failure modes directly rather than assign an apportionment percentage. This is achieved by deselecting the 'Use apportionment to assign failure mode rates' project option.
- Failure rate units are now displayed in the Block and Mode dialogs.
RBD, Fault Tree and Event Tree Modules
- The RBD module now has an append facility allowing users to append systems blocks from external projects. Blocks are only appended if there is a component block with the same ID in the target project.
- Bitmaps may now be stored inside a project
- The Sequential Model failure model type has been extended for fault tree and RBD analysis. The extended model enables accurate averaging calculations to be performed taking into account sequencing. The model also provides for modelling revealed double and triple latent (dormant) failures that are revealed before a flight (for aircraft applications), a journey for (automotive and rail applications) or a mission
- PDF files generated from rbd, fault tree and event tree diagrams now have page links allowing users to click on a page reference and move to that page. Fault tree event paste special no longer opens the tree control event node
- RBD paste special operations now display a Paste Special dialog if more than one block is being copied in the current project. This dialog allows users to choose system and component blocks that are not to be renamed when copied.
SSA Module
- The SSA module now allows users to enter up to 3 effects for each failure. Effects and effect types are now organised into 3 categories. The user may change the description of each effect category in the project options dialog
- A paste special function has been added to the SSA module allowing sub-projects to be automatically attached using linked functions
- SSA module function and failure paste operations from libraries now transfer dependent types (e.g. effect types, document groups etc.)
- SSA functions now have 24 text fields attached.
- DAL values (SAE 4754A) are now calculated for functions in the SSA module. DAL values are assigned to each classification. DAL values may now be verified using the fault tree linked to a failure.
- SSA Effects now have a long description field (max 2000 characters)
Report Designer
- PDF files generated from RBD, fault tree and event tree diagrams now have page links allowing users to click on a page reference and move to that page.
- The help system now displays help in the user's default browser by default. The help files are HTML5 based using a responsive layout that caters for resizing of the parent browser.

Welcome to my comprehensive course on Network Hacking! In this course, you will start as a beginner with no previous knowledge about penetration testing or hacking and by the end of it you'll be at an intermediate level being able to hack into networks and connected devices like black-hat hackers, not only that but you'll also learn how to secure networks from hackers.

This course is focused on the practical side of penetration testing without neglecting the theory. Before jumping into hacking you will first learn how to set up a lab and install needed software (works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux), then the course is structured in a way that will take you through the basics of linux, computer systems, networks and how devices communicate with each other, then you will learn how to exploit this method of communication to carry out a number of powerful attacks.

The Course is Divided into three main sections:

Pre-connection attacks: In this section you will learn about how networks work, how devices communicate with each other and how the information is transferred in a wireless networks. You will also learn about basic terminology, what is a channel ? MAC address ? what is managed mode ? What is monitor mode and how to enable it ? what is sniffing and what is it limited to ? so in this section we still don't know much about penetration testing , all we have is a computer and a wireless card connected to it, you will learn how to start gathering information using your wi-fi card (packet sniffing) and you will learn how to control connections around you (ie: deny/allow devices from connecting to networks) even without knowing the password of the target network.

Gaining Access: Now that you gathered information about the networks around you, in this section you will learn a number of methods to crack the key and get the password to your target network weather it uses WEP, WPA or even WPA2.

Post Connection attacks: Now that you have the key, you can connect to the target network, in this section you will learn a number of powerful techniques that allow you to gather comprehensive information about the connected devices, see anything they do on the internet (such as login information, passwords, visited urls, images, videos ....etc), redirect requests, inject evil code in loaded pages and even gain full control over any client in your network! All the attacks here work against both wireless and wired networks. You will also learn how to create a fake WiFi network, attract users to connect to it and use all of the above techniques against the connected clients.

All the attacks in this course are practical attacks that work against any wireless enabled device , ie: it does not matter if the device is a phone , tablet laptop ...etc. These attacks also work against all operating systems (Windows, OSX, Linux IOS, Android ...ect.). in each technique you will understand the theory behind it and how it works, then you'll learn how to use that technique in a real life scenario, so by the end of the course you'll be able to modify these techniques or combine them to come up with more powerful attacks and adopt them to different scenarios and different operating systems.

Six deletion methods for maximum security

Department of Defense (DoD) and the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) you can also select a complex mathematical method (the Gutmann method), which complies with the highest security levels. GearSetForce Displayin Drivetrain
The force vector of gear tooth contact will be displayed on an actual contact face by using Force Display function. Lots of detail behaviors between gear pair can be monitored using the normal and friction force displaying.
Using of GearSetForce Display
In order to display GearSet Force, a pair of gears that is subjected to display must be selected in Assembly Manager before the simulation. Due to the using a "*.uvec" file for displaying vectors, previous simulation result can't be used and the new analysis is required.
User Subroutine for Vector Display (Display Functions)
A force display functions have been developed for a user subroutine and its function name are as follows.'SET_USERDEFINEDVECTOR_FORCE''SET_USERDEFI NEDVECTOR_TORQUE'

Cylindrical Roller Bearing
Cylindrical Roller Bearing libraries have been added in Drivetrain. It also supportsthe life cycle and strength based on ISO281 and ISO16281.

GapBushing
Gap Bushing option is available if v-F Spline is used instead of K Coefficientin Bushing Property. Gap Bushing option makes the damping coefficient becomes zero when its stiffness becomes zero during simulation so that damping force is not happened even the relative velocity exist

Pacejka Tire
Pacejka Tireis added in Tire force. Pacejka Tire uses the formulation based on MF Tire/Swift 6.1.2.To use Pacejka Tire, the value of 'PROPERTY_FILE_FORMAT'must be changed to 'pac'in *.tir file.

PCG Solver
A new iteration solver of PCG(Preconditioned Conjugate Gradients) has been developed. PCG solver is generally good for a large scale problem roughly greater than 100,000 D.O.F. The PCG Solver has generally a good scalability on multi-core and multi-CPU computers.
Solving Performance
Several modelshavebeencompared to see the performance. FE Nodal body model is tested.
Limitation of usage
Thecurrent PCG solver has released as a beta version. If non-avialable body is included in the model and PCG solver is checked,the solver type is automatically changed to Sparse solver.
License of PCG solver
During beta testing, you can freely use the solver. When the beta test is finished, this solver will require new license.

Elasto-Hydro Dynamic Bearing
Journal bearing based onEHD (Elasto-Hydro Dynamic) analysis is available in the Drivetrain toolkit. The new function solvesthe Reynolds equation to calculatepressure pattern applied between twosurfacesseparated by lubricationoil. Thewell-known equation for the EHD bearing is simplifiedfrom the Navier-Stokes equation under following assumptions of a Newtonian fluid, thin-film thickness, and laminar flow. The new function supports a cylindrical journal type on the rigid body and flexible body(nodal & modal) except for the EasyFlex bodyas.
Pre & post processor
In order to define EHD bearing, oil properties, surface properties and geometry conditions for both of an action & base body must be defined via EHD Bearing property dialog. EHD Bearing solver calculates pressure pattern using these properties and applies force to the corresponding node ofsurfaces. The pressure pattern will be displayed in the postprocessor.

Soil Interaction
Soil Interaction function is available in the Linkstoolkit. A lot of tracked vehicles are operating not only under the hard ground but also the soft ground which usually called soil. Thoughthe Hertz contact and Coulomb friction approach was enough to represent the hard ground, they were insufficient for the soft soil.Contact formulations of Bekker's normal pressure, Wong's shear stress, and Dynamic sinkageare used to represent the soft soil.
Soil Library
Properties of various soils are supported with the soil library file. Since the library is a text format file, you can modify and use the revised file in the soil modeler. Parameters of normal pressure are taken from the reference of "Theory of Ground Vehicles (J.Y.Wong-3rd)" and the parameters of dynamics sinkage and shear stress have been defined empirically.
Road Data File (RDF)
Since the road can be modeled with the surface on soild or sheet geometry, various road shapes and obstacles can be considered in the driving simulation of the trakced or wheeled vehicle. The "Soil interaction" function generates the RDF file which is used to define the soil property and road shape.

Motor EM Force
In the motorsystem, current around the permanent magnet between rotor and stator generates the electromagnetic force is changed byRPM and their rotation angle.Motor EM Force function can model the forceswhich are appliedon the statorand rotorbodiesin the Drivetrain toolkit. The force should be defined as the UNV file format and the file should contain the force vector and nodal position which are the results and geometry model of ANSYS Maxwell simulation.This function requires other additional data to describe a motor system simply and the more detail information about that is in the preprocessor manual.

Export a Modal body result
Modal Flexible body has been widely used to reduce acomplex flexibility of body intoa small degree offreedom system and it gives highefficiency than the original model.Even its high solving efficiency, expanding usability for the additional simulation such as sound pressure analysis using its surface velocity was limited due to huge output file size. A newapproachhas been proposedto recover the kinematic value. Recovering surface velocity or acceleration by using modal coordinate and basic kinematics results such as a position and its time derivatives can be the more optimal way for that. The new version exports these necessary data into binary format in order to recover nodal position, velocity, and acceleration on the modal flexible body for FE and EasyFlexbodies.

Convert High order element into Linear element
A function for eliminating mid nodes in the high order element to reduce its order to linear has been developed. High order element has been used to get a high accuracy solution. In the case of the modal flexible body which usesthe only eigenvalue(frequency) and mode shapes for the solving process, it doesn't need to maintain the high order element.If this option turned on, all mid nodes will be removed and the order transformed into linear. And the mode shape data only for thelinear element node will be read while generating a *.dfmf file.More small size *.dfmf file will be generated if the option used while keeps a highly accurate solution for the modal flexible body. But there is no way to go back to high order element model without importing again.

Static Correction Mode for Rotational D.O.F.
In general, the unit displacements for the six d.o.f. are tested to get the static correction mode by the force or joint connection. The resultant modes improve the solution accuracy of the modal flexible body.However, in some case that torque is not applied such as motor stator, it is needlessto calculate the correction modes for the rotational d.o.f. By unchecking the option of "Impose Rotational Unit Disp.", you can speed up the body eigenvalue analysis of motor stator bodyby removing the calculation of the unnecessarystatic correction modes associated with therotational degree of freedom.The option is available for ANSYS Motioneigenvalue analysis as well as ANSYS eigenvalue analysis for ANSYS Motioninterface.

Contact stiction algorithm has been improved. The stiction had correctly worked when the sliding distance is small in the previous version.But the new version gives an accurate solution for the stiction problem after long sliding distance happened such as fastening &loosening a bolt too.
Restriction on Joint
The joint restriction function was only available when the joint has a motion. But no matter it has a motion or not, the function works correctly. Making a limitation of moving range can be easily set even in a joint.
Contact force from GET_OBJECT_FORCE
The contact force can be measured from theGET_OBJECT_FORCEfunctionwithin an user subroutine.Using a special keyword defined in the "defusub.h" located in the installation folder, each 6 directional force components can be obtained in every report time step.With this function, the contact force can be used for the performance index in the DOE as well as other optimization processors can easily get the contact force data by reading a *.out file.
Penalty Method of Hyperelastic Material for FE body.
The formulation for the Hyperelastic Material has been improved and availability also has been expanded to Solid15 and Solid 20 element. The improvement reduces a simulation time up to 40% while maintaining its accuracy within 1%.
Additiona loutputs for Flexible Body.
