OS X is 10.10 Yosemite, the new operating system for desktops and laptops Apple announced at WWDC 2014. Rumors pointed to a change in the overall design of visual interface OS X, and confirms change last year and hit iOS 7 versus their predecessors.
The main novelty of Yosemite OS X is its new graphical section. All exterior appearance of the operating system has been redesigned, giving it a flatter, similar to what we are used to in the current iOS look. The Dock loses its three-dimensional perspective and most system applications have gained new icons from the Finder, Launchpad through to get to the trash (which is now completely white) Finder windows have also received a redesign, gaining as main color white, becoming translucent top bar like the Finder and eliminating the effect of aqua maximize and minimize buttons.
