Ease of use

Powerful file organizer
Are not your images stacked on different disks and memory cards? jAlbum easily and quickly place them in clear folders of trees on the basis of the shooting date (year, month, etc.), name or location (GPS location). Duplicates are processed and jAlbum provides multiple undo / redo operations, so you can play around with the material. The openness of
jAlbum ensures minimal involvement in the network. jAlbum is cross-platform software for Windows, Mac and Linux. As such, it does not rely on centralized cloud services. It works in your existing folder structure (you know where your files are) and uses the open Adobe standard for processing metadata, like labels, ratings and keywords (XMP). This means that it integrates well with Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge, and your valuable metadata is stored in image files. The jAlbum configuration files are plain text and XML, and most shells have open source code that you can modify to your liking. Getting started with jAlbum is easy, and it's just as easy to stop using jAlbum.

Customization with shells
Shells are jAlbum plugins that define the appearance and functionality of generated albums. Editing images
In editing mode, you can view larger photos, add captions and apply various filters.
