Tour Map
The Tour Map received, perhaps, the biggest update. It can now better assist in general tour building and with Google Street View tours with the addition of being able to add custom floor plans.
Floor plans, are maps of the interior of buildings where it is also likely that location data has not been recorded during a shoot. So, we added the ability to geolocate the floor plan to the tour map so that when a tour node is added to the floor plan, it will be given location data. This is especially helpful for those building tours for Google Street View and need accurate placement of nodes inside of buildings. Floor plans that have been added to the Tour Maps, can also be used in the Skin Editor using the Map element. In addition to the floor plans, map pins can now be moved in bulk.
Animation Editor
The Animation Editor is now a panel and it, too, is more powerful. You can now connect skin elements to the animation. This lets you apply, for example, subtitles or text boxes that can appear and disappear at a defined time in the animation.
Previously, the animation editor only had the ability to create a single series of clips. Now, we can create sequences, which are a group of clips, in the same project. We can then, select a specific sequence to output as an animation or as auto rotation. This makes it much easier to create multiple versions of an animation without having to create multiple projects.
Skin Editor
The Skin Editor got new features, too. The most notable feature would be the changes made to the Maps element. This is how you would add a map or floor plan overlay to your project. Previously, only a map could be added to the map element.
We.ve also added a way to change skins without having to open the Skin Editor - making it easier to adapt a skin to the current project using the Edit Skin Configuration button. Finally, positioning in the Skin Editor has been completely reworked to better reflect the way positioning works in HTML5. This means that when you open older skins, you may find that the positioning measurements have changed. Don.t worry, it.s not broken; just, the numbers have changed.
Viewer
The Viewer has been updated to be able to playback 360. video, making it much easier to work with the medium. Once the panoramic video has been added to the Viewer or Tour Browser, a transport control will appear in the Viewer.

RWIND Simulation is an outstanding tool for creating wind-induced loads on general structures. RWIND Simulation is a separate program which is used externally to determine load cases and wind loads for RFEM or RSTAB models. As for RFEM, the model may consist of beams, surfaces, and/or solids in any composition. For RSTAB models, loads can be created for models that fully conform to the structural system, such as lattice towers or braced girders without cladding. RWIND Simulation uses a numerical CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics ) model to apply a fluid-mechanics simulation of the flow around objects in a wind tunnel. As a result of the simulation process, specific wind loads are created for RFEM or RSTAB.
For the simulation, a 3D mesh of finite volumes is used. RWIND Simulation performs an automatic meshing, while the overall mesh density as well as the local mesh refinement near the model can be easily set using just a few parameters. For the calculation of the air flow and the surface pressure on the model, a finite volume numerical solver for incompressible turbulent flow is applied. The results are then extrapolated on the model. RWIND Simulation has been designed to work with various numerical solvers. Currently we recommend using the OpenFOAM software package, which according to our tests gives very good results and is a widely used tool for CFD simulations. Alternative numerical solvers are under development.
RWIND Simulation is able to read the topology from RFEM or RSTAB models or from external *.stl and *.vtp files (importing *.ifc, *.stp and *.igs files is in preparation). Minor corrections of the model that may be required for corners or joints are applied automatically. The data relevant to the loading can be defined either in RWIND Simulation or in RFEM/RSTAB where a separate window is available. The latter option is recommended: It enables you to create load cases at equidistant angles and apply velocity profiles according to specific standards. Effects of turbulence can be included optionally. The dimensions of the wind tunnel are set to the size of the model but can be modified, if necessary.
The results of the simulation include the pressure and velocity fields around the model, the streamlines, as well as the surface pressure and the member forces. They represent the results of a stationary analysis. All results are illustrated by means of color maps (isobands) or isolines on the model or by slicer planes within the wind tunnel, respectively. The streamlines can be displayed in an animated view, which makes it easy to evaluate the effects of laminar and turbulent flow. As an essential result of the simulation, loads are created for the RFEM/RSTAB model. They are exported to the respective load cases where they are applied as FE nodal loads or member loads. To check the surface loads resulting from the velocity profile, a special feature is available to display the load distribution in one of the global or local directions.

Embarcadero is pleased to announce the release of Delphi, C Builder and RAD Studio 10.4.2. With new features and much improved quality, the new release builds on the work done in 10.4 Sydney and the 10.4.1 quality release.
What's nrw in RAD Studio 10.4.2
RAD Studio 10.4.2 continues expanding some of the key cornerstones of the product, from Windows to multi-device support, from IDE modernization to libraries quality and compiler performance.
Best-In-Class Windows application development
VCL and Windows remain a core direction for the product and we have done many improvements in this space in 10.4.2, continuing from the 10.4 work:
- A new flexible and virtualized list control, called TControlList. This new VCL control, designed as a high-performance control for very long lists, provides a modern look and feel, complete with custom UI configuration options allowing controls placed in each list item
- The second new VCL control is a TNumberBox control, a modern looking numeric input control. The control supports the input of integer numbers, floating point numbers with a given set of decimal digits and proper formatting, and currency values, even allowing expression evaluation
- Integrated IDE support for Microsoft's newly recommended Windows application packaging format, MSIX, for Microsoft Store and Enterprise deployment; MSIX support incorporates the technology previously known as Desktop Bridge, and it's one of the pillars of Microsoft's Project Reunion
- Numerous enhancements and updates to the Konopka Signature Visual Control library (KSVC) for better integration with VCL styles. The new version of KSVC is available as a free addon for update subscription customers in the GetIt Package Manager
- The TEdgeBrowser VCL component introduced in 10.4 (a wrapper around the Windows 10 Chromium-based Edge WebView2 control) has been updated with support for the GA version of Microsoft's WebView2 control and its SDK and now offers enhanced support for file cache management
New Developer Productivity and User Experience Features
The IDE remains the central focus for developer productivity, and while our main focus was on continuing the CodeInsight redesign around the LSP technology, several other features have been added, including:
- Compared to the previous versions, in 10.4.2 LSP adds many new features for Error Insight: the editor now shows colored underlines for hints and warnings as well as errors, meaning you can see potential important issues in the code editor (both Delphi and C++)
- There are also significant improvements to code completion in the uses clause, improvements to parameter completion, improvements to ctrl-click navigation's understanding of the code including being able to ctrl-click on the inherited keyword, improved support for packages; and a large number of other improvements
- For C++, several important quality improvements have been implemented in LSP, addressing issues like international characters, indexing, and more
- A new style called Mountain Mist, echoing classic IDE colors
- Many enhancements to improve common developer activities in the IDE
- Improved IDE responsiveness, with a new progress dialog that shows what the IDE is doing during a lengthy operation, such as opening a large project group
- We have updated the library path management, and added the ability to convert paths to and from absolute paths to using environment variables in the path
- Updated Migration Tool with an extended list of settings and 3 preset configurations to choose from, plus the option to include additional configuration files
- New Low Code App Wizards for FireMonkey: these wizards, which will soon be available via GetIt for subscription customers, allow RAD Studio developers to quickly build a functional multi-screen application from scratch, by specifying a number of parameters through a wizard interface
- RAD Studio 10.4.2 supports silent, automated installations of Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio with no UI interaction
Expanded FireMonkey Platforms Support
- Delphi 10.4.2 includes support for deploying and debugging on version 11 of Android and significant improvements for deployment to the App Bundle format, required by Google's Play Store along with the 64-bit app support
- Delphi developers can target macOS 11 Big Sur with Intel-based 64-bit applications using the FireMonkey framework, targeting the macOS App Store, or distributing their macOS apps locally or through their own website
- RAD Studio 10.4.2 provides support for building iOS 14 App Store ready applications in Delphi and C++, targeting the iOS 14 SDK, and debugging on iOS 14 devices
New Delphi and C++ Features
- Delphi compiler performance improvements obtained by implementing over 20 different compiler optimizations, with compilation time reduced to a fraction of what was in previous 10.4 releases for some large customer applications
- C++Builder 10.4.2 introduces a significant improvement addressing memory usage in the Win64 linker, including a new technology to greatly reduce the amount of data the linker needs to process. It does this by splitting the debug information to separate files (known as 'split DWARF')
- The new release sees a large overhaul of the C++ exception handling system, both within a module and cross-module; this includes C++ language exceptions, SEH, and OS exceptions
- The C++ RTL includes the latest version of the Dinkumware STL, and several more key open source C++ libraries will be made available in GetIt
Quality
RAD Studio 10.4.2 also delivers additional enhancements and quality improvements throughout the product and its libraries, with particular focus on PPL, HTTP and REST client, FireDAC, SOAP and WSDL importers.
The new release includes over 600 quality improvements for publicly reported issues.

R-Wipe and Clean is a complete R-Tools solution to remove useless files, free up your disk space, and clean various privacy-compromising information on your online and offline activity. This includes internet history and cookies, lists of downloaded files and opened documents, various data caches, temporary files, and many more items, created by the operating system, most contemporary internet browsers and communication programs, and by hundreds of third-party applications.
