Since version 1.2.0, the long slider's seeking speed is much faster than old versions, it makes fast jumping through different scenes in the H.264 AVCHD video much easier.

This major improvement is based on our new technology 'smart seek', which was accomplished by our developers after hard optimization. Since long time ago, the mostly experienced difficulty while editing H.264 AVCHD video was: it is very hard to locate the video frame you desired in the H.264 AVCHD movie; after you dragged the mouse wheel, it usually takes too much waiting before the video scene you

wanted to be displayed.

But now, with the help of 'smart seek', you can reveiw and jump to the H.264 AVCHD video scenes as fast as you did to AVI MPEG and other 'simpler' video formats. After you found the scene you needed by the long slider, the short slider will help you to locate every single video frame efficiently. Now, You need not to click the mouse button so many times, step by step dozens(H.264 AVCHD mostly has GOP of more than 33 frames) of frames to your desired one.

Just drag the short slider, each frame will be shown continuously and smoothly. You can decide the cut point very easily and fast.

Stream Fix to ensure a correct output:

Unlike the MPEG2 video streams, the H.264 AVCHD video takes some special elements into its stream structure for playback control. If some video cutter simply chops the H.264 AVCHD video stream apart, then feeds the cut movie into some post-processing pipelines, such as transport stream re-multiplexing, Blue Ray disk authorizing; then, there may(even must) arise the problems of green glitch, mozaic, or audio/video in-sync.

The inner stream-fix function will solve such kind of problems. It was done automatically during the process of video transcoding.

Network Drive Control (NDC) for Windows Vista, 7, 8 & higher, both 32-bit & 64-bit, is an example of a utility I wrote to solve a frustrating problem I frequently encountered, namely wanting my network servers, both at work & home, mapped to Windows drives in a network specific manner.

While one can tell Windows to try to map all of the drives at logon, I didn't like the long delays waiting for the time outs of the drive mapping for the networks that are not connected. (i.e. Waiting for the mapping of the home network drives to timeout when on my work network, and vice versa.) So I wrote my own utility which would examine the network environment after I logged in, and based on what network it found itself on, it would only attempt to map those drives it knew were on that network. Basically, I wanted the map network drives on login to function equivalently to the way the Windows "default printer" does by being network specific. The short of it is I wrote a two module program to do just that, and hence Network Drive Control was born. Network Drive Control allows you to configure the automatic mapping of network drives when you logon based on the network(s) to which you are connected. And example would be to have your laptop automatically connect and map one set of network drives when at home, and another set of network drives when at work or school, and none if it detects that the PC is connected to a network where no mappings have been configured.

Network Drive Control has no limit to the number of networks or drives that can be configured (except Windows built in limits), and drive letters can be redundant. i.e. If on one network you like a resource to be mapped to drive, say, X:, and on a different network you'd like to have a different resource also mapped to X:, you can configure Network Drive Control to do so.

Network Drive Control utilizes Windows features built into Windows Vista through 10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit).

Network Drive Control is free and has a built in help function.

We add the usual weasel words that there are no warranties that this software will work correctly or will even run on your machine, and that you use it at your own risk.

Note: Cisco QuickVPN, used by some Cisco small business routers, does not allow the use of network names, and so Network Drive Control won't be able to identify the remote network. This is an flaw in Cisco QuickVPN, not in Network Drive Control. Cisco's AnyConnect used with Cisco's enterprise class routers does not have this issue.

Cakewalk provides a thoughtful collection of ProChannel effect modules carefully designed to complement each other and to avoid overlap in function and application. And the PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor is no exception. Highly transparent with gentle, soft-knee characteristics, this module is particularly well suited to compressing and leveling a variety of material such as bass, keys, and rhythm guitars. Flexible drag and drop routing and manual output gain control lend a modern twist to an old classic.

The PC76 U-Type Channel Compressor, already included with SONAR X1 Producer, and the new PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor have different characteristics and handle audio information in distinctly different ways, making them a nice complement to each other. The PC76 U-Type employs classic FET design with very fast attack and analog-style warmth. It's modeled after a vintage, rack-mount, compressor that uses transistors to emulate a valve sound and is generally used on single channel source material. In contrast, the PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor is modeled after a built-in, VCA based, channel strip compressor and is able to be pushed hard and yet remain transparent on a wide variety of sources.

YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Installer), is the successor to MultibootISOs.

It can be used to create a Multiboot USB Flash Drive containing multiple operating systems, antivirus utilities, disc cloning, diagnostic tools, and more. Contrary to MultiBootISO's which used grub to boot ISO files directly from USB, YUMI uses syslinux to boot extracted distributions stored on the USB device, and reverts to using grub to Boot Multiple ISO files from USB, if necessary. Aside from a few distributions, all files are stored within the Multiboot folder, making for a nicely organized Multiboot Drive that can still be used for other storage purposes.

YUMI works much like Universal USB Installer, except it can be used to install more than one distribution to run from your USB. Distributions can also be uninstalled using the same tool!
