Arcv2CAD is a tool designed to help you easily turn ESRI shapes file (supported by ArcView) into DXF and DWG (supported by AutoCAD).

But it can also convert SHP, MDB, DBF, CSV, TXT and XYZ, to BLN and CSV. It can be handled even by first-time users.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Thanks to the file browser, you can seamlessly locate and select file for processing. Working with multiple items at the same time is not possible.
So, all you have to do is establish the output location and filename, in order to proceed with the conversion operation, by using the default settings. If you are an experienced user, then you can specify which types of objects to convert when it comes to the feature attributes (e.g. AREA, PARAMETER), text labels, legend, elevation, layers, colors and markers.
Additionally, you can edit color schemes, export settings for further use, combine DXF and DWG files, as well as merge straight lines and apply a coordinate offset, just to name a few.
The drawing processing program requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources in order to finish a task quickly. It has a good response time and contains user documentation. No errors have occurred during our testing and Arcv2CAD did not freeze or crash. All in all, Arcv2CAD offers a pretty straightforward solution regarding the conversion of graphics items.

RMPrepUSB allows the Windows user to easily and quickly 'roll their own' multiboot USB drive.

It allows the user to quickly test, partition, format, install a boot manager, extract or copy files and then test a multiboot (aka multipass) USB bootable drive. It can also make or restore an image and much more. Multiboot 'point-and-shoot' utilities like YUMI or XBOOT are excellent, however they don't support every different ISO or image. You will learn to enjoy making your own personal multiboot drive using RMPrepUSB! Why use RMPrepUSB rather than a standard USB formatting tool?
-Safe - it only lists USB drives that are less than 128GB in size by default so you cannot accidentally format your USB backup drive or internal hard disk
-Instead of using dd to copy an image to a drive (which can be risky if you choose the wrong drive!) use RMPrepUSB.
-Compatible - RMPrepUSB uses special boot code patches and partition arrangements to give your USB drive the best chance of booting on a wide variety of different PCs
-Fast - formatting is quick. A special FAT32 layout is used which improves write speeds to your USB drive by as much as 10% or more.
-Flexible - you can install a variety of different bootloaders and perform all the actions normally required to make a bootable USB drive within RMPrepUSB.
-Test Environment - you can test that your USB drive boots using QEMU before you try boot it from a real system.
Partition, Format and make bootable a USB drive - This is the main purpose of RMPrepUSB. Most users will need to follow the numbered steps (1-6). For more information see my Video Tutorials section. You can format as FAT16 (up to 2GiB), FAT32 (up to >1TiB - no 32GiB limitation) or NTFS (up to >1TiB).
Erase and Clean a USB drive - The Clean button will clear the USB drive partition sectors. Use this if you are having trouble getting Windows to recognise your USB drive and then re-format it using RMPrepUSB - Prepare Drive.
Test the size of your USB drive - If you have bought a cheap USB flash drive from China, the chances are it is a 'fake' drive. It may say it is 8GB in Windows, but actually it may only be 1GB and contain faulty memory. 95% of all USB flash memory devices from China on eBay are 'fake'. The Quick Size Test button will erase and test the whole USB flash memory in the drive. If it fails you have a fake drive. If it passes, format it with RMPrepUSB and then test it again with H2TESTW ( link included in the RMPrepUSB Help screen) for a more thorough but much much slower test.
Image your USB flash memory pen - RMPrepUSB can take an image of you entire flash memory pen drive and then restore it later. You can keep lots of different bootable images on your Windows hard disk and restore them to your pen drive at a later date. You can also save the contents of just one or several sectors (e.g. the MBR) to a file and restore it later.
Information - Use the FileInfo or USBInfo buttons to get information about an image file or USB partition.
Grub4DOS - You can use RMPrepUSB to apply a grub4dos boot sector to any USB drive by using the Install grub4dos button. A specially modified version of grubinst.exe is included with RMPrepUSB which increases the USB boot compatibility of many older systems.
Format a drive and install SysLinux - this allows you to boot many types of Linux operating systems from a USB drive.
Make a BartPE bootable USB drive - First use PEBuilder to make a BartPE folder, then use RMPrepUSB to partition, format and copy the files over to make a bootable USB flash memory drive (just tick the BartPE -> USB button).
Speed test - Use the Speed Test button to measure the sequential read and write speed of your USB drive. The results are added to a .csv file each time so you can easily compare drive speeds.
Eject a USB drive - Remember to use the Eject button before you remove your USB drive from the USB port or you may get a corrupted drive!
Use RMPartUSB in your scripts - RMPrepUSB is just a front-end user interface for RMPartUSB which is the command line utility that does all the hard work. The command line is displayed to the user by RMPrepUSB just before it calls RMPartUSB, so all you need to do is include the same command in your scripts. One use for RMPartUSB is just to detect if any USB storage device is connected and find out which physical drive number and volume letter it has been assigned by Windows. UltraDefrag can defragment both FAT and NTFS disks with just a couple of restrictions:
- It cannot defragment FAT directories, because their first clusters are immovable.
- It cannot defragment master file tables (MFT), because their first 16 clusters are immovable.
However, the program tries to optimize those files placing their fragments close to each other behind the first one. UltraDefrag can be used on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 as well as Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016. Elder versions of the program (prior to v7) can be used on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 as well, with some limitations. Additionally UltraDefrag for Linux exists which is an independent port of the program based on NTFS-3G capabilities.
Algorithms
First of all the program analyzes the disk gathering complete information about files and free space gaps. Then, depending on the selected action, the program either defragments the disk or performs its optimization. Defragmentation eliminates little fragments joining them together. Full optimization moves all small files and fragments to the end of the disk to release some space in the beginning. Then it moves them back, sorted by a user defined criteria, to speed up access to groups of small files. By default files are sorted by path in ascending order. Additionally FAT directories and NTFS master file tables get fixed up as mentioned above.
Quick optimization is the same but it skips already sorted out files.There are a lot of options available to control the process. For instance, the program can filter out meaningless files and never move them, which is pretty useful. Additionally, a deep action option is available which disables all filters completely. This way the program will process all files on the disk. Usually it's not necessary as it just increases processing time without any significant improvement of disk performance, but in some cases it's very handy.
For instance, when you have a lot of small free space gaps scattered across the disk and want to rejoin them together or just want to pack files as tight as possible before partition shrinking, the deep action option combined with the full optimization will do the job well. All algorithms are available either from a traditional graphical interface, or from a command line (console) interface suitable for batch scripting and scheduled tasks. Additionally a boot time interface exists which helps to defragment files locked most of the time.
Files
UltraDefrag doesn't count empty files because they have no fragments at all. The same applies to small files living inside of MFT records. Usually they are smaller than 1 KB and require no clusters outside of the table, thus no fragments. However, when you right click those files in Windows Explorer and select Defragment with UltraDefrag they will be counted to avoid ambiguity. Additional treatment have files excluded from defragmentation. Files marked as temporary by the operating system are always excluded, others can be cut off by path, size and number of fragments using filters.

Auto scale apps
There are many themes availables for your app, and, you can also set the fixed and scaled styles, even at runtime. The auto scale style made the app properly show in different screen sizes.
* Add the Inputs sample app (number 57) which show how we can place controls beyond the app view height, which can be useful, for example, to place lot of inputs controls in a sole app view, and not divided in various of them. Additionally, this sample app also show the usage of the "app.setViewReadyForDeviceKeyboard()" and the recently added "app.setDialogReadyForDeviceKeyboard()", to be ready with the devices' keyboards in platforms like Android and iOS.
* Add the new "app.setDialogReadyForDeviceKeyboard()" method, which can be used for the same thing than the "app.setViewReadyForDeviceKeyboard()" , but specifically designed to be used with app dialogs, instead of app views.
* Change the internal implementation of the "app.setViewReadyForDeviceKeyboard()" method, in order to run properly from even when the first app view (before the app DeviceReady event). Now the method attach a "deviceready" event so works as expected even if we place it in the first app view.
* We find a unaceptable behaviour in the Android (and probably the iOS platform, even when we don't test it) when we place controls beyond the app view height, due to the attachment of the app SwipeUp and app SwipeDown events, as well the app view SwipeUp and SwipeDown events. For the moment, we remove these events from the app, so the behaviour in the Android platform become as expected. Since the Hummer JavaScript library (used by these events) are available in AB "out of the box", you can continue use the referred events if you wanted, by attaching yourself to the view or the app window.

LaunchBar Commander is what is commonly referred to as an "Application Launcher"; it is typically docked to the side of your screen and lets you configure buttons and menus which will launch your favorites programs.

It's designed for power users who value efficiency over eye candy - although you can choose some nice appearance skins for the program, if you are looking for a super fancy animated mac-style dock with dancing icons, LaunchBar Commander is not the tool for you (but see the help file for links to other freeware/shareware alternatives you might like).

MassTube is a small software utility designed to help users grab their favorite video files from YouTube in the easiest way possible.

Aesthetically, it is not very impressive as it sports a simplistic interface and only a few options for downloading videos. This is a simple-to-use tool built specifically with a single goal in mind: to grab video files from YouTube, so it doesn't pack other useful features such as a built-in search engine and audio files downloader.
introduced the YouTube link in the main window. MassTube can work with multiple output formats and the video files can be exported to FLV, MP4, WebM and 3GP.
It integrates a history manager that shows all the videos you have downloaded from YouTube. The history can be cleaned, imported or exported.
Furthermore, at the end of the downloading process the app is able to open the clips with default Windows applications. It is also possible to select other programs for opening the videos.
The app works fast and no errors showed up during our testing.
Overall, Mass Tube is a small but efficient software solution for downloading clips on the go. Although it isn't the most powerful tool in its category, it packs basic features that can help you grab your favorite video files easily and it's also light on your system resources.

Quick Access Popup (QAP) lets you move like a breeze between your frequently used FOLDERS, DOCUMENTS, APPLISave thousands of clicks while browsing your favorite folders in Windows Explorer or file dialog boxes.

Launch your most used applications, documents or web sites instantly with this easy popup menu and mouse/keyboard shortcuts manager. Gather related favorites in SUBMENUS. Assign favorites or submenus to keyboard or mouse SHORTCUTS. Or GROUP favorites and launch them in one click.
To launch the popup menu, click the QAP icon in the Notification zone, hit the Middle Mouse Button or press Windows+W (these triggers can be changed in Options). In the SETTINGS window, customize your QAP menu. Review shortcuts assigned to favorites or submenus in the HOTKEYS window.
To quickly ADD a new favorite FOLDER to your popup menu: 1) go to a frequently used folder, 2) click the QAP hotkey and choose ADD THIS FOLDER, 3) give the folder a short name ans save it.
In the MY QAP ESSENTIALS menu, choose the SWITCH menu to switch to any other running Explorer or application window. Use the REOPEN A FOLDER menu to reopen one of the folders already open in an Explorer window (very useful in file dialog boxes). Choose the RECENT FOLDERS menu to show an updated list of the Windows recent folders. Access the files or URLs in your Clipboard with the CLIPBOARD menu. Click the DRIVES menu to see the list of drives with current disk space.
In the OPTIONS dialog box, choose your preferred language, menu icons size, windows colors. Select the number of recent folders to display, add numeric keyboard shortcuts to the folders menu or shortcut reminders. Pin the popup menu at a fix position or remember the Settings window position.
All this for free in very intuitive app. Quick Access Popup is available on Windows 7 and more recent. Works with Windows Explorer, Directory Opus, Total Commander and 15 other file managersCATIONS, WEB PAGES and much more!
