BootDisk Utility is intended to make a external bootable USB Flash Disk by installing to it special Data set (MBR, PBR sectors and Data files) of EFI-based Clover bootloader (and may be Chameleon bootloader) for BIOS-based computers.

If you have a Windows-based computer, you are probably aware that generating a bootable disk, regardless of the target operating system you want to create it for.
Fortunately, you can choose from a broad range of third-party software solutions that can help you simplify your work. One of the programs mentioned above is Bootdisk Utility.
Please note that this utility cannot function properly unless you provide it with a supported USB flash drive and Internet connection.
No installation required
Since it is a portable application, you do not need to install it on your computer, as simply decompressing the archive file's contents and launching its executable component grants you full access to its functions.
Additionally, it does not create any additional files or folders on your computer without your permission, nor does it tamper with your Windows registry entries.

CAD2Shape is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to convert AutoCAD documents (DXF and DWG) to the ESRI shapefile format (SHP, supported by apps like ArcView, ArcGIS and ArcMap), as well as to Surfer Blanking (BLN) and XYZ.
The interface of the tool is based on a standard layout where you can use the file browser to locate and select items for processing. Unfortunately, working with multiple items at the same time is not possible.

So, you can check out the name, date of modification, type and size for each file in the list. If you prefer the default settings, then all you have to do is specify the output destination and filename, in order to proceed with the conversion procedure.

Otherwise, you can select the type of objects to convert, from points, polylines and polygons to MultiPatch, labels and 3D.

Experienced users can configure additional entity settings (e.g. circle, circle center points, eliminate identical point) and select common entity attributes to convert (e.g. ID, LAYER, COLOR, LINEWEIGHT), as well as filter settings (layers, pens, region).

From the 'Settings' area you can make CAD2Shape close Polylines and output UCS coordinates, apply an offset for the coordinates, as well as select the units, base and direction for the rotation, and others.

The program requires a very low amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or displaying error dialogs. We have not come across any issues in our tests. There's also a help file available.

Arcv2CAD is a tool designed to help you easily turn ESRI shapes file (supported by ArcView) into DXF and DWG (supported by AutoCAD).
But it can also convert SHP, MDB, DBF, CSV, TXT and XYZ, to BLN and CSV. It can be handled even by first-time users.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Thanks to the file browser, you can seamlessly locate and select file for processing. Working with multiple items at the same time is not possible.

So, all you have to do is establish the output location and filename, in order to proceed with the conversion operation, by using the default settings.

If you are an experienced user, then you can specify which types of objects to convert when it comes to the feature attributes (e.g. AREA, PARAMETER), text labels, legend, elevation, layers, colors and markers.

Additionally, you can edit color schemes, export settings for further use, combine DXF and DWG files, as well as merge straight lines and apply a coordinate offset, just to name a few.

The drawing processing program requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources in order to finish a task quickly. It has a good response time and contains user documentation. No errors have occurred during our testing and Arcv2CAD did not freeze or crash. All in all, Arcv2CAD offers a pretty straightforward solution regarding the conversion of graphics items.

[CAD Viewer is an application developed for users who want to view CAD drawings without using complicated software, such as AutoCAD.

The interface looks familiar, so users shouldn't experience any navigation issues. Opening a drawing can be done using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported.
Standard tools include print, zoom, pan across drawing area, rotate, and select (predefined 3D view).
As far as preferences are concerned, you can specify the initial viewing mode for DXF and DWG files (e.g. zoom drawing to fit, last saved) and raster (e.g. initial rotation for BMP and JPG).
In addition, you can establish the printer initial page orientation, raster images in drawings options (e.g. ignore always), and Xrefs in drawings (e.g. browse if not found), as well as enable confirmation on quit and hide menus from the main application window.
Administrators also have the possibility to manage user permissions when it comes to printing, saving and copying to the Clpboard, and markups (whether they can be embedded into DXF and DWG drawings or not).
Other options of CAD Viewer focus on a search function, export to PDF format and email, drawing recovery for viewing, text touch-up options (e.g. edit, move, copy, delete), image mode (e.g. fast draw, smooth), layer manager, black and white filter, and more.
CAD Viewer is very responsive to commands and runs on a pretty low amount of CPU and RAM, so it doesn't put a strain on overall performance or interfere with the runtime of other applications. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the app did not hang or crash. In conclusion, CAD Viewer offers a simple alternative to viewing CAD files.

While there are a lot of applications or web services that can help you videos from YouTube, many have trouble extracting high-definition clips over 720p in resolution.

Ummy Video Downloader does not suffer from this limitation, as it allows you to save any YouTube clip on your Mac of resolutions up to 4320p, as well as rip audio tracks and save them as MP3 files. Easy-to-use OS X app that can help you videos with very little effort.
Using Ummy Video Downloader could not be easier, as you simply need to copy a clip's YouTube link and bring up the application's main window. It automatically extracts the URL from the clipboard, so that all you have to do is press the button.
You can then get on with your other tasks, as the app displays a notification when the a has been completed.
Save high-definition YouTube videos on your Mac, regardless of their resolution
When the application has detected a clip's URL, it allows you to select which version you wish to copy. However, it should be noted that if you want to a video in multiple resolutions, the app does not rename them automatically, so the previous one will be overwritten.
Also, only one video can be ed at a time, and the application cannot process entire playlists.
It is possible to extract audio tracks from YouTube videos, so that you can save your favorite songs as MP3 files.
Minimalistic interface that could be improved in a few respects
You can view the video's thumbnail to ensure you are not ing the wrong clip, although it would be nice if you could disable this function, so as to minimize the app's screen space usage. Also, the only way to clear the ed items list is to restart the application.
We get the impression that Ummy Video Downloader would function much better as a menu bar app, as it would always be within reach without getting in your way.
All in all, though, this is a useful tool that can help you high-definition YouTube videos or convert them to MP3 audio files in just a few simple steps.
