QuickBooks Online 2019 bookkeeping business designed for small business clients or small businesses who want a simple cash basis format for entering data.

This course is designed for bookkeepers and is also useful for small business owners who want a simple system for entering financial data into QuickBooks for financial planning and year-end tax preparation.

The bookkeeping system we discuss will also describe the relationship between the bookkeeper, the business, and the year-end tax and financial statement preparers.

We will outline a cash basis bookkeeping system using QuickBooks, a system that will enter most transactions directly into the check register.

The course will discuss the responsibilities of a bookkeeper and the responsibilities of the business when a bookkeeping engagement in entered into.

We will work through a sample bookkeeping project in QuickBooks including the setting up of a new QuickBooks company file.

The course will practice entering data into the QuickBooks register directly from a bank statement. We will provide practice bank statements to use with the project as well as step by step instructional videos.

As we enter data directly into the check register from the bank statement, we will compare and contrast the cash basis system we are using to a full accounting cycle system. We will also review the financial statements periodically to see how QuickBooks is using the data to make reports.

After entering data into the QuickBooks check register from the bank statement, we will perform bank reconciliations. As we perform bank reconciliations, we will discuss what a bank reconciliation is and the benefits a bank reconciliation provides.

The course will then discuss options for entering specific accounting data into QuickBooks including payroll, equipment, loan payments, insurance, credit card payments, and invoices. We will provide practice QuickBooks files for different options related to the items listed above and explore the pros and cons of each option. The bookkeeping options will help tailor our system to our specific bookkeeping needs.

As we enter accounting data into the system we will discuss common questions we will have when entering the first few months of data and how to write down these questions, move forward with data input, and organize the financial data so that we can quickly go back to it once our client questions are answered.

This course will discuss, print, and export month end and year end reports, reports a bookkeeper may provide to clients monthly and reports the business will need at year-end for tax preparation.

We will discuss year-end adjusting entries. The bookkeeping system we propose will depend on an outside accounting firm, tax preparer, or CPA firm to help with the year-end adjusting entries. As bookkeepers we want to be aware of the adjusting entry process so we can work with any year-end accounting firm, tax preparer, or CPA firm. We will enter common adjusting entries into an adjusting entry Excel worksheet and into Quickbooks.

Finally, we will discuss whether or not to enter the year-end adjusting entries into our QuickBooks bookkeeping system and different options to do so.

The Microsoft team is pleased to announce the availability of Cumulative Update 1 to Exchange Server 2019, the newest version of its venerable email server.

Exchange Server 2019 CU1 build 15.2.330.6 - Release date February 12, 2019:

This cumulative update is a security update. It includes fixes for nonsecurity issues and all previously released fixes for security and nonsecurity issues. These fixes will also be included in later cumulative updates for Exchange Server 2019. This update provides a security advisory in Microsoft Exchange. It also resolves some vulnerabilities. This update also includes new daylight saving time (DST) updates for Exchange Server 2019.

Known issues in this cumulative update

- After you install Cumulative Update 1 for Exchange Server 2019, the Accept button disappears in the invitation email message of a shared calendar in the Outlook on the web client (previously known as Outlook Web App). Therefore, you cannot add the shared calendar by clicking the Accept button directly. To work around this issue, you can use one of the following methods:
. Open the invitation from the Notifications pane in Outlook on the web.
. Add the shared calendar manually in Outlook on the web. For more information, see How to open a shared calendar from an Outlook sharing invitation.
. Open the invitation in Outlook, and then add the shared calendar.
- In multidomain Active Directory forests in which Exchange is installed or has been prepared previously by using the /PrepareDomain option in SETUP, this action must be completed after the /PrepareAD command for this cumulative update has been completed and the changes are replicated to all domains. Setup will try to execute the /PrepareAD command during the first server installation. Installation will finish only if the user who initiated SETUP has the appropriate permissions.

We're aware all media for Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server, version 1809 has been temporarily removed and Microsoft will provide an update when refreshed media is available. Exchange Server 2019 will be fully compatible with version 1809, and the refreshed version.

We also built Exchange Server 2019 to only use TLS 1.2 out of the box, and to remove legacy ciphers and hashing algorithms.

We've done significant work to allow Exchange Server to take advantage of larger core and memory packed systems available in market today. With our improvements, Exchange Server can use up to 48 processor cores and 256GB of RAM.

We've re-engineered search using Bing technology to make it even faster and provide better results, and in doing so have made database failovers much faster, and administration easier.

We're adding dual storage read/write capabilities to Exchange Server 2019 using Solid State Drive (SSD) technology to provide a super-fast cache of key data for improving end user experience. We also talked about this in our Email Search in a Flash! Accelerating Exchange 2019 with SSDs session at Ignite.

We also changed the way database caching works to allocate more memory to active database copies, again improving the end user experience. You can learn more about Dynamic Database Cache from Welcome to Exchange Server 2019! video and slides.

The improvements we have made to Exchange Server 2019 will enable you to scale to a larger number of users per server than ever before, use much larger disks, and see the latency of many client operations being cut in half.

We all rely on Exchange for calendaring, and we know large enterprises are heavy calendar users. We are bringing a few key features such as restricting the forwarding of meeting requests and better control over OOF settings to Exchange Server 2019. Administrators get some new calendaring features too, as we're adding the ability to manage events on user's calendars and assign delegate permissions more easily.

We are also adding support for routing mail to and from EAI/IDN recipients and hope to add additional capabilities in this area in the future.

The session recording also goes into some of the other features we have plans for, so make sure you watch it to the very end.

As we mentioned in the Preview post in July, the Unified Messaging role will not be available in Exchange Server 2019. Customers who currently connect either a 3rd party PBX or Skype for Business Server to Exchange Server won't be able to do so with Exchange Server 2019 mailboxes. Those customers considering an upgrade to Exchange Server 2019 should consider migrating to Skype for Business Server 2019 and using Cloud Voicemail, or migrating to Office 365 with Cloud Voicemail.

Who gives the lectures?

I'm Ken and I'm from the UK and speak British English although I've lived in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Thailand in the last 15 years and have been able to learn some conversational French, Portuguese, Spanish and I can understand some Thai also.

I've visited around 50 countries around the world so I am very well aware of cultural differences and have adapted myself over time to understand languages and what's important culturally.

So you have a teacher who understands what it is to learn a language, how challenging and difficult it can be. This is why these courses maybe perfect for you as it comes from real experiences from myself and also my many, many students I've helped in Europe, South America and Asia over the last 10+ years.

What is Kens background?

22642 Data Management - Altium Vault SDK has been updated with the new services and examples.
19332 Data Management - Fixed error "Error reading data from the connection" caused by LDAP Sync service while synchronizing huge amount of user accounts.
20207 Data Management - Fixed bug with inability to perform lifecycle state change if lifecycle was defined via the web browser (requires lifecycle definition to be updated).
20832 Data Management - Fixed bug where commit to some of the managed projects was executed very slow (initial commit after update will fix the issue and increase performance of the subsequent operations).
20942 Data Management - Fixed bug where the error "Interface not supported" occurred during deletion of project item with a huge amount of dependent objects.

About Altium Vault. Altium's Vault technology provides the foundation for Altium's Design Data Management solution. A distinct design solution in its own right, an Altium Vault works in harmony with Altium Designer to provide an elegant answer to the question of handling design data with secured integrity.
