The Microsoft team is pleased to announce the availability of Visual Studio 2019 version 16.2.4. The 2019 release includes AI-assisted code completion with Visual Studio IntelliCode. Separately, real-time collaboration tool Visual Studio Live Share has also hit general availability, and is now included with Visual Studio 2019.

The studio features a new start window to help users get coding faster; improved search capabilities; overall performance improvements, Visual Studio IntelliCode AI assistance; better Python virtual and conda support; and support for .NET Core 3.0 projects, including WinForms and WPF, among other features.

Fixed: Error running the selected code generator :" value -1 is outside the acceptable [0,2147483647] range. Parameter name :value"
Fixed: VS2019 will randomly hang while unloading projects
Fixed: vcpkgsrv freezes VS on opening new cpp files
Fixed an issue that caused Visual Studio 2019 to stop responding on shut down.
Added error handling to prevent a crash when displaying tool windows with Per-Monitor awareness enabled.

Additionally, after installing NI Device Drivers, you cannot use any installers built on this computer with any version of LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, NI TestStand, or Measurement Studio on an unsupported OS.
Note Support for Windows 32-bit operating systems may require disabling physical address extension (PAE).

* NI software installs VC2015 Runtime and .NET 4.6.2. Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 require Microsoft updates to support these items.
** NI software is signed with a SHA-256 certificate. Windows 7 SP1, Windows Embedded Standard 7 SP1, and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 require Microsoft updates to support SHA-256.

Driver Version Naming Changes
Driver versions are now aligned with the versions of major NI application software products. This alignment gives you information about the year the driver was released and the most recent software version with which the driver was designed to work. Driver versions now start with a two-digit year indicator. For example, NI-DAQmx 14.0.0 is the version released with LabVIEW 2014. The last version released under the old numbering scheme is NI-DAQmx 9.9. The first version released under the new numbering scheme is NI-DAQmx 14.0.0.
