Lumion has been increasingly recognised as the ideal rendering software for visualizing design and architectural concepts in superb quality video form. Right now, 26 of the top 100 Architect companies in the World are customers of Lumion.

The introduction of Lumion 4.0 once again takes the Lumion experience to an even higher level. 'Easy-to-learn', 'easy-to-use', 'super interoperability with so many 3D CAD packages', 'incredibly fast to get a fantastic video' are all phrases that have become synonymous with Lumion.

Act-3D announced new version real-time architectural visualization Lumion 4.5 software. New features include the option to copy and paste effects from project to another; sliders for the size of the sun and moon; and - in a reversal of the usual development trend with 3D software - sharper shadows. There are also new options to switch on the lights in a scene at or around sundown. Users of the Pro edition get the option to merge elements between scenes, and 24 new animated 3D characters.

The clouds are now less pixelated.
It no longer says Lumion Demo 4.5 in the title bar.
The Help text is no longer missing when opening an LS4 file without movie clips.

64-Bit Only
Lumion 4.0 will only be available for 64 Bit Systems. If you are currently using a 32-Bit version of Windows you need to upgrade you operating system before you can run Lumion 4.0.

Minimum System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows Vista, 7 or 8
System memory: 4GB (for simple scenes)
Graphics card: NVidia GeForce GTS 450 or ATI/AMD Radeon HD 4890 (minimum 1,500 PassMark points), with at least 1GB dedicated memory (not shared system memory).
Harddrive: 7.5GB of disk space
Using Lumion via Remote Desktop is not supported
Lumion 4 requires an internet connection.
