Scaler is a unique and inspirational MIDI effect that makes finding chords and progressions intuitive and fun! With note detection, scale selection and chord suggestions, Scaler is a comprehensive but easy-to-use toolbox that will help anyone make better music.

A first of its kind, Scaler can determine what key and scale you're in and suggest chords that match your music, or it can inspire a tune from scratch by providing a set of initial chords in an unexplored key. With the onboard bank of 1,728 scales and modes including genre and artist presets, there's more than enough to keep the juices flowing. Once you've determined a scale, Scaler lays out basic diatonic chords for you to audition, and lets you take things further with dozens of chord variations and voicings to try out. Theory buffs can also get an insight into each chord's harmonic function.

Ready to put together a progression? Simply drag and drop chords into Scaler's sequencer, change up octaves and inversions, and record or drag the progression into your DAW.

In keeping with our philosophy of creating innovative new sound design concepts we created Headphase. Headphase is packed with 1323 custom made samples inspired by our love of nostalgic sounds. Each sound can be controlled in many ways and blended to create sonically deep and lush textures.

Each sound has been specifcally made for Headphase and we have drawn our inspiration heavily from the Boards of Canada pallette hence the name. On the surface you can start loading presets and playing Headphase instantly and you can get creative by turning a few controls to see what they do but Headphase goes much deeper than this. It uses a new concept 'Audio Design partials' to give you access to various parameters while just moving one of 4 knobs. These will open up a world of new sounds. Move a 'Partial' knob and listen as the sound morphs and changes in various unexpected ways. We wanted to make an instrument that could be used for rapid inspiration and for generating unique sounds very quickly.

HIKU Mastering Plugin
Punch, Warmth and Presence, instantly

Give your masters, buses or individual tracks extra polish with this smart effect. HIKU might only have three controls, but under the hood, there's a precise mix of processing tailored to add warmth, power and clarity to any audio signal.
As well as sounding great on single tracks or groups, HIKU is a vital stage in any mastering chain.

HIKU's processing is split into two bands. You can control the frequency of this split using the frequency dial. Both the low and high bands are processed using saturation for crunch and character, parallel processing for punch and control, and stereo imaging for definition. The algorithms on each side of the frequency split are tailored towards the different processing needs of low-frequency and high-frequency audio.

The central Mix parameter dials in the amount of HIKU's effect that's applied to the signal. Set it to low levels to subtly cook the audio, and push it to higher levels to bring life back into stale sounds.

You can raise the end-to-end crossover frequency dial to 20,000Hz to get HIKU's low processing over the entire signal, or lower it to 20Hz to get HIKU's high processing on a whole channel.

Use the top-left gain control to compensate for any level changes introduced by HIKU, and bypass the plugin to audition the signal before and after processing.
