PreScan is a simulation platform consisting of a GUI-based preprocessor to define scenarios and a run-time environment to execute them. The engineer's prime interface for making and testing algorithms includes MATLAB and Simulink. PreScan can be used from model-based controller design (MIL) to real-time tests with software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems. PreScan can operate in open-loop & closed-loop, and offline & online mode. It is an open software platform which has flexible interfaces to link to 3rd party vehicle dynamics model (e.g. CarSIM, dSPACE ASM, etc) and 3rd party HIL simulators/hardware (e.g. ETAS, dSPACE, Vector).

PreScan comprises several modules that together provide everything an ADAS system developer needs. An intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) allows you to build your scenario and model your sensors, while the Matlab/Simulink interface enables you to add a control system. This interface can also be used to import existing Matlab/Simulink models such as vehicle dynamics models. When running your experiment, the visualisation viewer gives a realistic 3D representation of the scenario. Optionally, tools such as dSPACE ControlDesk and NI LabVIEW can be used for activities such as 'data acquisition' and 'test automation'.
The program works using four easy steps
Build scenario
A dedicated pre-processor (GUI) allows users to build and modify traffic scenarios within minutes using a database of road sections, infrastructure components (trees, buildings, traffic signs), actors (cars, trucks, bikes and pedestrians), weather conditions (such as rain, snow and fog) and light sources (such as the sun, headlights and lampposts). Representations of real roads can be quickly made by reading in information from OpenStreetMap, Google Earth, Google 3D Warehouse and/or a GPS navigation device.
Model sensors
Vehicle models can be equipped with different sensor types, including radar, laser, camera, ultrasone, infrared, GPS and antennas for vehicle-to-X (V2X) communication. Sensor design and benchmarking is facilitated by easy exchange and modification of sensor type and sensor characteristics.
Add control system
A Matlab/Simulink interface enables users to design and verify algorithms for data processing, sensor fusion, decision making and control as well as the re-use of existing Simulink models such as vehicle dynamics models from CarSim, Dyna4 or ASM.
Run experiment
A 3D visualisation viewer allows users to analyse the results of the experiment. It provides multiple viewpoints, intuitive navigation controls, and picture and movie generation capabilities. Also, interfaces with ControlDesk and LabView can be used to automatically run an experiment batch of scenarios as well as to run hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations.

TextPad is a powerful, general purpose editor for plain text files. Easy to use, with all the features a power user requires. TextPad® is designed to provide the power and functionality to satisfy the most demanding text editing requirements.

TextPad has been implemented according to the Windows XP user interface guidelines, so great attention has been paid to making it easy for both beginners and experienced users. In-context help is available for all commands, and in-context menus pop-up with the right mouse button. The Windows multiple document interface allows multiple files to be edited simultaneously, with up to 2 views on each file. Text can be dragged and dropped between files.
In addition to the usual cut and paste capabilities, you can correct the most common typing errors with commands to change case, and transpose words, characters and lines. Other commands let you indent blocks of text, split or join lines, and insert whole files. Any change can be undone or redone, right back to the first one made. Visible bookmarks can be put on lines, and edit commands can be applied to lines with bookmarks.
Frequently used combinations of commands can be saved as keystroke macros, and the spelling checker has dictionaries for 10 languages.
It also has a customizable tools menu, and integral file compare and search commands, with hypertext jumps from the matched text to the corresponding line in the source file (ideal for integrating compilers).

TinkerTool System 7 is a collection of system utility features helping you in performing advanced administration tasks on Apple Macintosh computers. Connect AirPods (or other Bluetooth headphones) to your Mac with a single click or keypress. AirPods are great, but they don't work quite as smoothly with Macs as they do iPhones.

You can't tell at a glance whether audio will play from the AirPods or your Mac's built-in speaker, you have to dig into a Bluetooth submenu to connect, and then you have to go back to the menu to see when the AirPods are ready for use. ToothFairy streamlines this: just click an icon in the menu bar (or press a hotkey) to switch to the AirPods, and the icon always shows whether they're connected.
- Works with AirPods, as well as any Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or headset that you can connect to your Mac.
- Click the hollow AirPods icon in the menu bar to switch to AirPods. It fills in to show they are connected and also displays a battery indicator.
- Supports multiple Bluetooth audio devices; you can choose a different icon and hotkey for each.
- Get the best audio quality. macOS will normally use the SCO codec if it thinks you're going to use the microphone. ToothFairy can ensure that it uses the higher quality AAC codec when you only care about audio output: listening to music or video or playing a game.
- Disconnect a Bluetooth device by clicking the icon (or pressing the hotkey) again, so that you can switch back to your phone. AirPods and Beats devices with an Apple W1 chip do not need to be manually disconnected, and you can set them to "Connection only mode" to avoid accidental disconnetions when pressing the hotkey multiple times.
- ToothFairy automatically launches at login, so it's always there when you need it.
- Optionally hide the Dock icon so it only appears in the menu bar. With the Dock icon hidden, you can right-click (or Control-click) the menu bar icon to access the settings.
- Run a shell script when the AirPods are connected or disconnected.
Note: ToothFairy works with devices that can be connected via the macOS Bluetooth menu. Please make sure the devices you want to connect have been paired to the system correctly before using them with ToothFairy.
