Now, these meticulously recorded drum sounds are yours to explore. Drum Studio includes 6 kicks, 5 snares, 9 toms, and 7 cymbals all sampled with varied articulation and multiple microphone placements and played with sticks, brushes, and hot rods. Included in the collection are a 1926 snare, a 1960 14x24 bass drum, and dozens of other sounds designed to bring an authentic vibe to your music.

HRES (High-Resolution Extended Samples)
Drum Studio uses high-resolution extended samples. During the sampling process, we exceed the normal 127 velocity steps by recording volumes that are a fraction of single velocity amplitude. We capture up to 300 samples to create these fractional velocities and multiple samples fall within a single value. For example, a velocity of 95 has multiple associated samples, each with its own minor variances.

RRS (Round Robin Sound) Sample Randomization
To take advantage of the HRES samples, Drum Studio utilizes a 'round robin' randomization feature or RRS Sample Randomization. Play the same velocity and the RRS will randomize the samples that have been assigned to that single value. Strike velocity 95 repeatedly and RRS will trigger different samples to avoid "machine gun" playback. You then have settings which can modify the behavior to suit your preference. This creates a more realistic, dynamic, and nuanced performance.

Effects
The effects panel below Drum Studio applies different effects to the entire instrument. Add delay or distortion to the entire drum kit and tweak the knobs to your liking. The combinations are endless.

Mics
A wide range of microphone perspectives controls the volume balance between the different mics used in the original recording. These options include dynamic, condenser, overhead, shotgun and others. Balance the mics to achieve your perfect room sound.

Mix, Compressor, and Reverb Tab Views
Drum Studio also has three separate tab views built into its structure. The "Mix" tab allows a range of control for each individual track. The "Compressor" tab allows you to take advantage of Concerto's onboard compressor or a third-party compressor of your choice, utilizing the "Bus Combo" option. Looking to add spaciousness to your drum mix? The "Reverb" tab enables 4 different reverb sends to selected instruments with individualized parameters.

What Makes Mixbus Different?
Harrison has a unique history. In the mid-80's, we developed fully automated, digitally-controlled analog mixer technology which was adopted by premiere film-mixing facilities around the world. Agile Commander is a kanban board designed especially for independent programmers and small teams. It differs from other such solutions because it is a native application and all data is stored on your hard disk. That allows you to keep full control. It also works great as a bug tracker.

Nowadays, most project management tools are designed for large companies with large teams. They are often complex online systems, used not only to manage projects, but also to replace all other communication channels. But what about independent programmers or small teams?

These large systems have many functions that are not only useless but can interrupt and reduce productivity. Communication is a good example. It makes no sense to create a message in an online system or send an email when the person you want to ask something sits a desk next to you. A large company must formalize communication due to its size, in the case of a small company the use of such techniques will only reduce its competitiveness.

DS WASAPI ASIO Router Mixer is an audio input to audio output router/mixer with support of Direct Sound, WASAPI and ASIO modes. Any type and number of audio inputs can be routed to any type of audio output with matrix mixing, VST DSP plugin support, 11 band equalizer and recording option. ASIO output mixer is optionally multi-threaded to achieve lowest possible latency for high resolution 96/192KHz output with DSPs as well. Equalizer, matrix mixing and VST DSPs have a preset system to store and recall settings. DS WASAPI ASIO Router Mixer can start automaticaly with Windows with last used settings.

Basic steps for using DS WASAPI ASIO Router Mixer:
In the upper-center part of the window select an output device. To the right set the desired format and click 'Enable'.
In the left part of the window select an input device. To the right (center of the entire window) select the input's desired format and click 'Enable'. The selected input device will start playing on the previously selected output device. The input device is always enabled through the last selected output device. It's possible to enable multiple input devices for 1 output device, but only 1 output is supported for an input device.
To access the 3 FXes on the bottom select an input or output device from the list. The last selected input or output device will be affected. The lower panel's groupbox caption displays the currently selected device's name (input ot output).
For example to apply an equalizer to the device, set the EQ track bars and click on 'Enable'. Of course the parameters can be changed on the fly too.

Hints:
Input and output channel/device 'format' settings may have no effect. This is always so with WASAPI and with ASIO devices' channel count. Input and output ASIO devices will always have the maximum number of channels supported, ASIO pair channels will be always stereo. After enabling the device/channel the actual format is displayed below the set option. To set WASAPI devices' formats, please use the Windows audio devices control panel.
ASIO: if the output is skipping increase the ASIO device's buffer size. It's possible to access the ASIO device's configuration window by enabling the device then right mouse clicking on the device name and selecting 'ASIO Control Panel...'. Restart DS WASAPI ASIO Router Mixer after changing the setting. If your computer's CPU has power saving functionality (the CPU is throtled when idle) adjust the CPU power saving option in Windows control panel to 50% or higher if the output is still skipping. A little CPU time can be saved with middle mouse button clicking on the input/output peak value number. This disables the peak calculation process. The fastest CPU (as of January 2017) is the Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.20GHz for the application. For ASIO output, if multi-threaded processing is enabled in settings, a CPU with more cores is more optimal.
VST DSP: to bring up the plugin's configuration window double click on the plugin's name. To reset it's settings right mouse click on the plugin's name and from the menu select 'Reset Plugin To Defaults (disable)'.
It is advised to always work in 32 bit float sample format mode when dealing with input and output channels/devices. Recording may be set to any desired format, the sample data will be converted to the set format for recording.

This plugin is compatible with Windows (32- and 64-bit Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and later versions) computers (2.5 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 4 GB of system RAM, SSE4.2 instructions support required, e.g. any Intel Core i-, AMD Bulldozer- or Zen-based processor). A separate binary distribution file is available for each target computer platform and audio plugin specification.
