- FumeFX 5 writes OpenVDB caches in a form that makes them easily readable inside the Arnold Volume Grid, Redshift grid and even Houdini. The FumeFX vdb cache will be correctly positioned which makes any OpenVDB workflow straightforward.

FRSProductMgr was designed for the small business person who wants to manage his or her inventory, track customer sales, and, optionally, manage the company's products on its web site. However, due to its flexibility, FRSProductMgr can be used to track almost any manner of data, whether for commercial or private purposes. The ability to maintain data is something a software application such as a spreadsheet or a database can do.

What FRSProductMgr excels at is the ability to provide a very flexible display of that data, and to generate web pages from that data. So, if you are used to using one of the popular office suite spreadsheet or database applications, you will marvel at the way you can easily customize FRSProductMgr.

FRSProductMgr is very straight-forward to use. Setting up a store only requires a store name, and then you can start adding your product inventory. That's it! After that, you can get more involved by honing what data you want to track for your products, entering customer information if that applies, set up view/print reports, and/or create web reports for generating pages for your web site. However, those are all optional features that are there if you need them, and can be ignored if you don't. Start simple, and you can always expand later as you become more familiar with the application.

How Do I Use FRSProductMgr?
The very first time you start the application, and after reading the Welcome screen, you will see the Store Contact Info window, wherein you can enter your store's information. Enter as much as desired. The name of the store will be shown in the application's title bar, and it will be used as the name of the data file wherein your data will be stored. So, that is required, but anything else can be left blank. You can always go back and make changes using the "Store | Contact Information..." menu command, including changes to your store's name.
When you press the OK button, the main window appears, and you can now start to enter your store's product inventory. The main window, shown in figure 2 below, shows the Products tab, where you will be doing most of your work. Initially, of course, it will be blank.
To add your first product, use the large green "plus" toolbar button. This toolbar button is a short-cut for the "Data | Add Entry" menu command, or you can press the F4 function key of your keyboard. You can use whichever method you prefer.

The purpose of FRSTrainTracker is to help model railroaders and model train collectors to keep track of their locomotives, freight and passengers cars, cabooses, and maintenance-of-way cars.
You can add as many model entries as you wish. A large number of data-entry fields are provided by the application. However, the true power of FRSTrainTracker is the fact that it allows you to add, rename, hide, or remove data entry fields. As you get used to the application, you may want to experiment with these features (see the "Field" menu).
You can associate one or more model photos and prototype photos with each entry, if so desired. By default there are three model photos and one prototype photo field visible. There are additional fields available, by clicking on the "Field | View Hidden Fields..." menu command (two more model photo ones, and four more prototype photo ones). Once a photo is selected, a thumbnail image of that photo will be shown along the right-hand side of the main window.
In addition to photos, you can also maintain a "to-do" list for the model (see To-do List multi-line edit field below the grid). This allows you to keep track of the changes that you would still like to make to the model, things such as changing out the couplers, weathering, etc. If you have already made changes to the model, there is also a field for keeping track of those (see the Upgrades edit field below the grid).
We all know that there will come a time when we pass on to the Great Passenger Station in the Sky, so by having all your models and their specifics entered into FRSTrainTracker, you will help your spouse, family members, or friends determine what is in your estate. You can assign a "current value" of the model, so that they will be able to determine what you considered a fair-market value for the model. A fair-market value might also help in determining the overall value of your collection for insurance purposes.

- Controllers read TP Data
Thinking Particles users will be able to pipe TP Data Channel values (including color) to AfterBurn by new abilities of AFC contollers.
- Shaders
All AfterBurn shaders are now rewritten as separate plug-ins. This makes it possible for 3rd party developers to easly implement their own noise routines in AfterBurn.
- Support for 3ds Max maps
Apart from built-in noise types, AfterBurn 4.0 can use any 3D texture map as its density. It is possible to even write your own noise types for AfterBurn. Noise parameters are moved to a separate rollout.
- FusionWorks
AfterBurn 4.0 is fully compatible with FusionWorks, SitniSati atmospheric renderer. That means it can properly blend with ScatterVL Pro and FumeFX. This makes the AfterBurn Renderer, which appeared in the list of Atmospherics, obsolete.
- Rendering non-clamped colors
If rendering uses non-clamped (real) colors channel, AfterBurn will write to that channel also. User will need to propery setup FusionWorks Renderer to create Non-Clamped Color channel.
- Viewport display
Besides spheres display, user now has an option to display 2D circles.
- AFC View
AFC View is accessible from AfterBurn Manager rollout. From there, you can easily access and manipulate all AFC and Gradient controls.
- Rollups rearranged
Parameters from the Manager and Shader/Illumination rollouts concerning rendering have been moved into the new Rendering rollout. Noise and Animation parameters have been moved to the Noise Animation rollout.
- 3ds Max script
More AfterBurn methods and AFC and Gradient controllers are exposed to max script.
