All sounds have been recorded directly from the deck, expertly supervised by our turntable resident and scratch-off artist DJ Quartz, delivering authentic vinyl sound in a truly expressive and immersive instrument.
Take your performance a step further with independent pitch and speed controls. Then create complex assemblies and breaks by triggering 6 built-in effects including 2 delays, a phaser, beat crusher, reverb, and repeater from your controller's keyboard. Add a 3-band EQ and resonant filter, and you have a professional mixer and effects blocks right at your fingertips! The Scratch Machine comes with a huge library of samples and phrases. Over 4,200 phrases in total, covering a variety of classic phrases including vocal phrases, break beats, and even Speak n 'Spell scratches. All phrases are now available for use in UVI Workstation or your DAW of your choice, just drag and drop them wherever you want!
