Notation fonts and styles
capella offers you six different notation fonts from renaissance music to jazz. You can also save your own new fonts or variations and "crossbreeds" taken from existing fonts in separate styles. Style templates can be individually allocated to your scores. Given that capella lets you present notes without stems and/or without heads, those who like experimenting, will find almost no limits to the possibilities available in defining individual notations. (In capella start you can only use the standard-style template.)

Listening and playback
capella supports the unique capella-tune technology, putting you in complete control of capella's tonal palette. Ornaments like trills, dynamic gradations, support for capella Vienna orchestra, echo effects and playback according to swing or Waltz rhythms are all reflected during playback.

Adding graphics to the score
palletsGraphic objects are selected from pre-defined pallets using the mouse. Experts can define their own individual pallets from the symbols available in capella's character set.

A graphics gallery can be created for and attached to each score. The gallery stores your regularly used graphic objects. capella comes complete with several interesting galleries that contain special notations, guitar frets and much more.

FRSProductMgr was designed for the small business person who wants to manage his or her inventory, track customer sales, and, optionally, manage the company's products on its web site. However, due to its flexibility, FRSProductMgr can be used to track almost any manner of data, whether for commercial or private purposes. The ability to maintain data is something a software application such as a spreadsheet or a database can do.

What FRSProductMgr excels at is the ability to provide a very flexible display of that data, and to generate web pages from that data. So, if you are used to using one of the popular office suite spreadsheet or database applications, you will marvel at the way you can easily customize FRSProductMgr.

FRSProductMgr is very straight-forward to use. Setting up a store only requires a store name, and then you can start adding your product inventory. That's it! After that, you can get more involved by honing what data you want to track for your products, entering customer information if that applies, set up view/print reports, and/or create web reports for generating pages for your web site. However, those are all optional features that are there if you need them, and can be ignored if you don't. Start simple, and you can always expand later as you become more familiar with the application.

How Do I Use FRSProductMgr?
The very first time you start the application, and after reading the Welcome screen, you will see the Store Contact Info window, wherein you can enter your store's information. Enter as much as desired. The name of the store will be shown in the application's title bar, and it will be used as the name of the data file wherein your data will be stored. So, that is required, but anything else can be left blank. You can always go back and make changes using the "Store | Contact Information..." menu command, including changes to your store's name.
When you press the OK button, the main window appears, and you can now start to enter your store's product inventory. The main window, shown in figure 2 below, shows the Products tab, where you will be doing most of your work. Initially, of course, it will be blank.
To add your first product, use the large green "plus" toolbar button. This toolbar button is a short-cut for the "Data | Add Entry" menu command, or you can press the F4 function key of your keyboard. You can use whichever method you prefer.

Karaoke Player:

Kanto Karaoke offers two "modules" on the right side of the screen:
1. Playlists: In this section you can create unlimited playlists. A playlist is a list with your favorite songs. Thanks to the playlist you can avoid every time to search for songs to sing.
2. Live Performance: This is the real novelty introduced by Kanto Karaoke . The Live Performance indicates (in real time) the song that is currently playing and those that will be played after. Thanks to the "Live Performance" you can schedule your performance and avoid interruption from one song to the next.
3. Fade Out/Crossfade: Kanto Karaoke is the ONLY karaoke player that is able to switch from one track to another with a CROSSFADE effect (it decreases the volume of the stopped song and at the same time it increases the volume of the new song selected). In this way you will avoid to change songs so brusquely.
4. High quality playback: Kanto Karaoke provides the best playback quality for mid/kar files, thanks to the integrated SoundFont. From the Options menu of the program you can also change the SoundFont file to customize the sound quality.
5. Midi Channel Management: on the left of the program there are two important features. Midi Channels Config allows you to view and turn on/off any midi channel. Melody ( CH4 ) instead allows you to quickly turn off the "melody track", so you can sing on a "clean" backing track.
6. Audio Settings: from this module, the software allows you to change pitch ("Key") and speed ("Tempo" of the backing track ( mid, kar, mp3, etc .)

Karaoke Recorder:
Kanto Karaoke comes from the idea of creating a software for singing recording on any backing track. There are currently similar programs but most of them don't work!

To transform your PC into a real recording studio, follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Input Device: At the bottom left of the program, from the drop-down menu, select "Microphone" as the input device. If you see multiple similar entries, be sure to select the correct one (the device that is actually installed on your PC).
We recommend you to use an external microphone (with USB input). If you do not have it, you can use the internal microphone of your PC, but the quality will be lower.
2. Start Recording: Open the song (by choosing it from your PC or by double clicking on the file in the playlist) and then click on the RED circular button in the player. Now, you can start to sing!
3. Stop Recording: At the end of the song, click the STOP button and then again on the RED button. On the left side of the program, you'll see an entry in the " Recordings" module. Double click on it to open the folder where you can find the mp3 file: this is the recording you just made!
