Reset HOSTS file
The Windows HOSTS file is a text file which stores website addresses. The file can be used to speed up access to websites you visit often. By equating the website name (e.g. microsoft.com) with its DNS address, the web browser can find the website more quickly as it does not have to query a DNS Name Server. Some Malware programs add entries to this file, to either deny access to websites. Usually, security-related or antivirus company websites. Or it re-direct access to websites of their choosing.

Reset Windows Update Policies
Some Malware programs attempt to prevent Windows Update from running. And inhibit access to resetting Windows Update. Also blank out the Windows Update options on the Update configuration screen. Loaris Trojan Remover will check the current Windows Update settings and correct them where necessary.

Say hello to a world of plinks! Plink 2 builds on the success of the original Plink Kontakt instrument by adding a far better user interface, some additional sample sets and a dedicated FX section with bespoke convolution reverbs, delay and a multimode filter to sculpt the perfect plink.

Plink 2 provides a beautiful collection of plinky sounds. To create this instrument I sampled a wide variety of sources, including old and new synths, vintage guitars, a ukulele, a banjolele, a music box, toy instruments, a beaten-up piano plus 'found' sounds like kitchen glasses and a bicycle wheel.

As well as a re-designed GUI, created by Paul Lebküchner of Sound Aesthetics Sampling, the sample sets have been tweaked, start points adjusted and some of the more wayward samples tuned to produce a more polished sounding instrument. With the new GUI, polished samples and funky FX, new life has been breathed into the original plinky sample set. This makes Plink 2 a better sounding, and far more versatile and fun instrument to play and explore.

Xtant Audio Simsimiyya (KONTAKT) | 443 Mb

The simsimiyya is a traditional plucked lyre played in Egypt, Jordan, and Yemen. It is mostly used by Bedouins as a social instrument. In Egypt it is traditionally used to accompany a dance called bambutiyya.

Articulations
This library includes samples from two instruments, one small simsimiyya (simsimiyya I) and one slightly larger (simsimiyya II). The smaller instrument includes a selection of percussive hits while the larger includes recorded tremolo samples for a very authentic sound. The dedicated retrigger key-switch provides an intuitive way to play double plucks or tremolo live on each instrument. Both instruments also feature a selection of unique Ebow drone samples.

Round Robin & Dynamics
The plucked articulation of both instruments was recorded with multiple repetition samples (round robin): x12 for simsimiyya I, and x9 for simsimiyya II. Each instrument was sampled at three dynamic levels that will smoothly crossfade as you play at different velocities.

Playable Maqams
Simsimiyya is one of the few sample libraries available that gives you playable maqams (Middle Eastern modes). Our unique system lets you use key-switches to switch between the various pre-programmed maqams and Kontakt's keyboard will update to show you which notes are playable in your selection. The system also allows you to create your own custom scale presets and trigger quarter tone notes on the fly.

Effects & Controls
The on-screen controls allow you to easily adjust the various instrument settings and effects. Both instruments have the same range of effects: Chorus, Saturation, Delay, and Reverb, each of which can be enabled/disabled independently. Other controls include the maqam selection and editing menus, ADSR settings, fine tuning, ebow tuning, and ebow volume.
