Postbox is a powerful application that aims to provide you with all the tools for keeping in touch with your friends and business partners.

It can handle multiple email accounts and allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds in order to read the latest news. Well-organized and pretty familiar interface

The program is based on the popular Mozilla Thunderbird email client and its interface features the popular accounts, folders and messages panels for easy access. The message pane allows you to view the content of the current email which can also be opened in a new tab.

Setup your account and group or label messages

Configuring the email accounts enables the user to only enter the email address and the password. The wizard automatically searches for the server configurations in the database and fills in the rest of the details if they are available which allows Gmail or Yahoo! users to add a new account in a matter of seconds.

The Gmail integration allows you to organize your messages with labels and to navigate through the messages by using native Gmail shortcuts. You can also use the conversation view in order to group the messages when you need to follow a certain discussion.

Browse attachments, subscribe to RSS feeds and filter news

With the email indexing feature the program helps you browse the email attachments and images related with the messages from a folder. You just need to switch to the attachments view, select the files and save them to your computer.

You can also use the application to subscribe to RSS feeds or to import your subscriptions from other programs such as Thunderbird. As the email messages, the news articles can be filtered by using advanced rules in order to display the items that you need to read.

A final assessment

In our tests, the program had little impact on the computer's performance even though it uses a significant part of the system memory.

Overall, Postbox is a useful email management tool which integrates multiple Gmail features and can be further improved by adding extensions. However, if you are not an exclusive Gmail user you are sure to find other solutions.

Typical drum replacement tools rely on rudimentary filtering and transient detection, resulting in many false triggers and missed hits. Audio Fingerprint solves this problem by using a novel FFT-based matching system. It is so accurate, it usually has no trouble detecting lightly played ghost notes from background noise while simultaneously rejecting mic bleed and other unwanted sounds.

In addition to detecting low level ghost notes with great accuracy, our Audio Fingerprint system can also differentiate between different stroke types that are played at similar velocities (for example, sidestick and open snare hits). This lets Addictive Trigger play back the correct articulations of samples, even if the incoming source material has different kinds of drum hits with similar peak levels.

Setting and fine-tuning detection parameters can be painfully tedious work. SuperStart eliminates the need to do this by listening to your source material and automatically providing suitable detection settings. In most cases, this is all you need to get accurate drum detection happening on your tracks. This lets you spend more of your time on creative things like dialing in the perfect drum sounds.

Super smart automatic hit detection

Once you have inserted Addictive Trigger on an audio track, simply click SuperStart and begin playback in your host software. Addictive Trigger listens to your track for several seconds, analyzes the incoming hits and automatically sets a number of different parameters based on the source material. In most cases, this is all you need to do in order to have accurate hit detection happening on your track.

The clutter-free interface lets you dial in just the right amount of punch in your drum mixes while three amazing algorithms provide great sounding results. Our powerful MOJO processor lets you shape the transients in specially chosen frequency bands while leaving other bands unaffected, opening up a world of exciting sound design possibilities. This unique technology uses tuned transient shaping to achieve EQ and compression-like results in situations where traditional EQs and compressors would have limited benefit. This opens up a world of exciting sound design possibilities ranging from minimal polishing to extreme mangling.

MOJO works by letting you shape transients only in specific frequency bands of your track while leaving other frequencies bands and non-transients unaffected. This lets you control the low-end "tightness" of a kick drum, add or remove midrange "body" from a snare, or tune the high-frequency "presence" of a drum mix.
