Straightening Tool
If the horizon isn't level or vertical objects like buildings aren't vertical, you can quickly straighten your photo and fix perspective issues. The tool is part of the Finishing Touch palette.

Selective White Balance new in v6.1
When processing bracketed sets of RAW images, you can assign a different white balance to the brighter and the darker images.

Color scheme options new in v6.1
You can choose between a Dark or Light color scheme for the user interface. By default, the scheme is set to Light, though the interface where you adjust and finish the image is always under a Dark scheme.

Powerful selective adjustments and masking.
There's a big difference between masking for compositing vs. selective adjustments. Topaz Studio focuses entirely on selective adjustments, and we think of it as a central feature of the product instead of an add-on. As you'll see, this led to many design decisions intended to shorten the amount of time you spend refining your mask, like including edge awareness in each masking tool in Studio.

Brush Tool
Select different parts of your image by painting directly on it. Topaz Studio's brush is edge aware by default. This means you can quickly paint over your selection without having to worry too much about staying between the lines. This is the fastest and most direct way to selectively apply an effect to your image.

Spot Tool

For example you may only want to select and defragment the files you used in the past 7 days. Just sort the list, click and then select Defragment Now. Only those files will be defragmented.

The Absolute Easiest Way Ever To Defragment Files In A Folder!
Just go to Command Prompt. Navigate to a folder/directory. Enter the command UltimateDefrag *.* and every file in the folder/directory will be defragmented. Usually in just a minute or two. For subdirectories/subfolders just enter UltimateDefrag *.*\ and all files in all subdirectories will be defragmented. For users who are familiar with creating batch files, you could create a batch file that runs daily in a schedule to defragment all the files in your Windows Directory to keep your Windows tuned for fastest performance - all of the time! You could do the same for your Program Files folder etc etc.

Need to chip away at a large heavily fragmented drive?

OVC-128 is a massively-oversampled soft/hard clipping effect AudioUnit, AAX and VST plugin for professional music production applications. A common use for this plug-in is hard-clipping before the final peak limiter. This is an effective approach in contemporary electronic music when loudness is boosted using a clipper plug-in while minor excessive peaks are absorbed by a final peak limiter that applies no additional gain itself.

Clipping the tracks via OVC-128 is practically similar to clipping using high-quality outboard analog gear. At 44.1kHz source sample rate, the internal audio sample rate of OVC-128 is a whopping 5.6 MHz!
A perfect combination for contemporary electronic music production is OVC-128 followed by Voxengo Elephant mastering limiter in the "EL-C" or "EL INS" mode. This combination produces both energy and smoothness.
Note that OVC-128 is a relatively CPU-demanding effect plug-in, it requires a higher-end processor for comfortable use. Performing 128X-oversampled clipping on a single stereo track is computationally similar to performing simple clipping on 1000 tracks.

NETWORK
Supported methods and protocols: TCP/IP, NetBIOS, PPPoE, and WLAN (Wi-Fi).
If you want use Wi-Fi - you need to install "wireless network-adapter driver". Choose "Drivers" section in the "Start Menu".
Connecting to Wi-Fi require to use "PE Network Manger", click on tab "Wi-Fi" on it.

IMPORTING WLAN PROFILES:
To import WLAN profiles on your computer or client computer, export the WLAN profile (s)

WLAN profiles put in a folder on your USB flash drive SSTR\MInst\WLANProfile
The profile names can not contain spaces and have names in the Latin alphabet. The number of profiles does not matter.
After loading WinPE, WLAN drivers will be installed and WLAN profiles imported. You will only need to select the necessary network in the PENetwork program, and click - Connect
The execution script is written in the run.cmd file in the SSTR\MInst\bat folder
If you do not need it, make the run.cmd file in the SSTR\MInst\ bat folder empty.

WHAT IS NATIVE MODE

This is a special mode in which the first load specially prepared minimal kernel (without GUI) and works off a script that searches for media (DVD, USB-HDD) with an assembly and installs the "full" kernel.

+ Pros:

1. Binding to the carrier (if extraction - PC "hangs").
2. Slower core work (because everything is loaded not from the fast RAM-disk, and c is a slow media). In practice, special "brake" is not felt.
3. For compatibility with older CPU is disabled and multi-core support PAE.

Note: On modern PC is better to use normal startup.

Quick Intro to MailDex E-mail Manager
MailDex® by Encryptomatic® LLC is a Windows software tool for indexing, discovering and converting emails. MailDex works across many different email formats, including Outlook .pst, .ost, and .msg files, and .eml, .mbox, winmail.dat, and .mht files. With MailDex, you can find that needle in a haystack; that one important email hidden among millions

MailDex has an advanced email rendering engine able to accurately display complex Microsoft Outlook messages, including Rich Text emails with embedded graphics and special formatting such as shapes, SmartArt and embedded charts. Hundreds of non-standard email formatting exceptions have been identified and individually included in the code, enabling our MailDex to render emails that other products can't. This means you get highly accurate images when converting email to image documents such as PDF. Reply and forward to email messages from MailDex using your default Windows email application, such as Thunderbird, Outlook, or any other email client that supports Simple Mapi.

Easy To Use and Unlimited
MailDex is project driven, so for example, a law firm performing discovery on multiple cases can establish multiple projects. This simplifies discovery and prevents content mingling. With MailDex, you can create an unlimited number of projects. Each project can index an unlimited number of emails. Search across one project, or search across all of your projects. Email files within a project, or an entire project may be removed from your MailDex index at any time.

MailDex natively supports indexing of many different types of email content. You can add Outlook .pst, .ost or .mbox email files, or select a Windows folder with .msg or .eml files or a mix of email content. MailDex immediately begins indexing email content after it is added to a project. The status column keeps you informed of the indexing progress. MailDex is optimized for fast indexing, exceeding 12,000 emails per minute on a modestly resourced computer. When indexing is complete, your searches of email content will return lightening fast results.

Controlled Unclassified Information:
If you work with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), MailDex can be set to respect CUI tagged emails during export operations. Activate this feature by selecting the "Exclude CUI" option on the export tab.

PST to PDF Conversion
Export emails from Microsoft Outlook PST files to PDF documents. It also exports msg, eml, ost, and mht files to PDF. A range of pdf export options lets you decide how to handle email file attachments: extract them to a disk, convert them into the pdf image, or embed them as individual files. Support is included for ISO 19005-1, an important email archiving standard also known as PDF/A.

With MailDex's pdf export capabilities, you can:
- Convert email to PDF with email file attachments embedded within the PDF file
- Convert to PDF with many common file attachments types converted into the PDF image
- Bulk extract email file attachments to a location on your hard drive
- Convert multiple emails into a single PDF file
- Add selected emails to an existing PDF file
- Archive emails using PDF/A - ISO 19005-1 standard
- Export email to other formats including Word Docx, ODT, Mbox, GIF, TIF, BMP, JPG, CSV (Excel), HTML, MSG, and MHT
- Select among different page formats such as A1, A3, etc., or define your own

Opens All Outlook Pst Files
Index and search .pst files created by any version of Microsoft Outlook, including newer Unicode and older ANSI formatted .pst files. System administrators are able to customize the user interface, removing features their users don't need. An .msi file supports silent deployment and silent registration.

Searching .PST Files
Find the email messages you need with advanced search options. Use "quick search" to sift through emails fast. Use "Advanced Search" when you need to specify multiple criteria. Search a specific range of dates, sender, or the recipient's email address.
